Delete apDivs. Why they remain in the code?

Recently, I noticed that when I delete an apdiv of a page in design mode the apdiv remains in the code. Why is this? I'm successfully delete?

I do not understand the chaos that occurs when the removal of the code. Could you please develop what the problems are that might happen to do this?

CSS is used to style HTML. We will say that I have created a complex style for a particular div rule, but decided I want to move the div to a different location on the page (I mean not APDivs, but any div). If deleted automatically Dreamweaver CSS attached when I cut an element from the code, it would be a disaster. In addition, most sites that use CSS store style rules in an external file. If the rules associated with an element have been removed while the element, the rules would be more available in the remaining pages.

Of course, when you draw an APDiv directly in Design view, it adds the CSS in the head of the same page. So it would not create a problem if the rule was deleted in these circumstances. However, Dreamweaver is of opinion that he should not touch the style rules that have already been created. He expects you as the developer to know what you are doing and what the code is for.

If your sites consist of a large number of elements of a fixed size, you reach not too bad off with absolute positioning. It can work very well with the images, but it is not a tool of good layout for the vast majority of Web sites. The web is a liquid medium. It doesn't have the luxury of fixed page sizes you get in print.

If you have an IMAP account, go to Mail/preferences/accounts/box mailbox behaviors and make sure that the store deleted messages on the server is not checked. If this is the case, uncheck the box and see if you can remove the trash.

If that is not working, go to Mail/trash, select an e-mail message and then control - click/Delete. Does it work?

  • Why will not erase the deleted messages in Thunderbird in FACT?

This problem does not exist on my other computer or my phone when I delete imap messages, but when I delete this computer, even if it appears in the Trash of Thunderbird folder on this computer, it is not actually go in webmail or on any other device. Any ideas? Thank you.

Re: when I delete emails from Thunderbird on the computer in question, they appear in the trash on this computer, but they do not actually delete from the server, they remain in the original folder (Inbox, sent).

    Quote:
It is ideal for a message erased on an IMAP account or visible in webmail or other e-mail clients. Deleting a message just sets a flag, and it's the interface chart user what to do when there is a message when this flag is set. However, once Thunderbird compact (expurgated) this folder, the deleted message shouldn't be visible more webmail or any mail client, because it has been deleted physically.

IMAP accounts offer several options to delete messages that are not available in the accounts pop tools-> account-> server settings settings-> "when I delete a message" a choice for "Move to trash", "Mark as deleted" and "withdraw immediately".
    end of quote.

More information about the different methods are detailed on the link:

If you right-click on the eg: Inbox folder and select "compact", this should eliminate the traces of the deleted messages.

to compact a file: right-click on a folder and select "compact".

to compact all folders: file > Compact folders

you set up the auto strike?
Tools-> account settings-> server to select imap e-mail account settings: clean up ("Expunge") Inbox on exit that compress the Inbox folder when you exit Thunderbird. If you check 'Empty trash on exit' will also empty and compact the deleted items folder when you quit.

  • Microsoft Outlook express Outbox does not transmit messages - Messages remain in the Outbox for ever

When you create new messages, outlook does not transmit messages. They remain in the Outbox for ever

Assuming that you have checked The Send Messages immediately and you get no error message, you may need to the corruption of dbx files.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  • Why my deleted messages only remain in the folder items that are removed for a month? I'm looking for more old deleted emails?

my trash is only show the emails to April 28.

The account using POP or IMAP?

If the IMAP, your trash is almost certainly on the server as such, may be subject to the provider's e-mail in folders trash policy / deleted.

Check what are the rules of your provider on the retention of the trash. You can allow to adjust the period for which they are held. You can also set Thunderbird to use a trash folder under your local folders account which will be on your own hard drive and so invisible to your email provider.

And of course check the settings in Thunderbird for what to do with the deleted messages. You can set it to automatically remove messages after a set period. Go to the Tools section. The account settings for the parameters of deletion.

OTOH, if you regularly delete messages and relying on them indefinitely maintained, I suggest review you your procedure and not delete them until you are convinced that you no longer need them. Recycle trash, garbage, and are the first to go when space gets tight. Most email providers have a policy to automatically remove deleted messages from a certain age of the record, more precisely to manage and reduce the use of disk space.

  • If I delete pictures of all the pictures of the photo program section, yet will they stay in the albums that I've placed in?

If I delete individual photos of all the Photos in my pictures program section on my iMac, they will remain in the albums that I've placed in?

The albums are not store photos. Are simply referencing the photos in the photo library.  If you delete photos from your library, either from "Photos" or "pictures", the photo fade of all albums that use this picture.  Photos in albums and "All Photos" are not duplicates, pictures of the library, they are simply a different way to access the same pictures you see in the years of Moments, Collections,.
