delete first 8-bit

output bit stream is "0000000001010000" but I want to first of all remove the 8 bits
for the tip out put is "01010000". What should I do?

Thank you

If you want to change the input stream, I would use Decimate 1 d Array.vi (after the string in array of bytes)

More notes:

It is usually best to convert them inside the loop

If you add 18 to reshape the size after the first loop, you will get the same input immediately - bit without generation table additional (right click-> CONCATENATE arrays in these cases) and second remodel.

Edit: Maybe I did not understand you. You want to remove only the first byte of the long message? Then table subset (or remove table) will work. I thought it's points of 2 bytes, you want to get rid of the first byte to each of them. Overload...

    Hi, Christine Konditamde,.

Exchange the two lines in your code like:

    EXIT WHEN C1%NOTFOUND;
    NEXT_RECORD;

You should do next_record if there is some recovered record. Here you have first gone to the next record and if suppose he isn't get any folder, it will give you FRM-40102, because you're trying to create the folder to the last record.

    It will be useful.

Check the answer as useful / OK, if this can help you

  • Where are the 64-bit versions of Firefox beta 8?

I noticed that Firefox 8 will come out a week, so I wanted to try one of the beta. I heard the advertising a little back on the fact that Firefox 8 will be the first version of 64-bit (Windows). However, there is no 64-bit Installer in any of the beta releases or releases the Aurora. The latest 64-bit build, I can find is http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2011/08/2011-08-15-03-07-38-mozilla-central/. 64-bit support has slipped? I noticed that there are not yet any release of 64-bit Firefox 9 in Aurora.

No, the first 64 bit version would be Firefox 10.0 - but only if a 64-bit version of nightly Aurora next week.

Development built beginning as every night, then move to Aurora, then Beta, then to be a Release. No construction of Aurora and it remains as a night - two versions of the exit.

  • Firefox will open 4 or 5 thin legs, but then do not load any other sites after the first 4 or 5 or you can update one of these first tabs - including: config and the addon page

Firefox 5 worked well. I installed Firefox 7, and when I ran, tabs just say «connecting to...» "and hang up. Rebooting did not help. Sites Web open correctly in IE and Chrome. Disabled all firewalls and antivirus, nothing helped. Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 5, everything has worked again. It was using Vista 64-bit.

Upgrading to Windows 7, uninstalled Firefox 5, installed Firefox 7, had the same problem. Uninstalled Firefox 7 completely (including profile information, I saved this information in another file), restarted the computer and installed Firefox 7 using a clean profile. Do not install add-ons, checked to make sure that all plug-ins were updated and updated plugins up-to-date.

Now when I run Firefox, I can load 3 or 4 or 5 tabs very well - after these first tabs bit are open, I can not open or refresh all other tabs - with about: config and the add-on Manager - I have to restart Firefox. The hangup does not appear to be associated with what websites I try to open, but it seems that the number is the problem. I ran through all the procedures of the FAQ, including changing the maximum number of connections to 48, and the problem does not seem to go away.

As a side note, I had this same problem when I tried to go from version 5 to version 6 more. Version 5 is the latest version which worked on my system.

The default value of the pref Network.http.Max - connections has been increased from 30 up to 256 in versions of Firefox 6 +.

Try to decrease the value of the pref Network.http.Max - connections from 255 to a setting like 30 such as used in versions of Firefox 3.

  • FindPattern and 64-bit

HM, as nobody answers my questions from 32 to 64-bit, I'll keep wondering:

Function FindPattern does not seem appropriate for 64 bit, because the starting index continues to expect a regular 'int '. 'Number of bytes' is defined as ssize_t, but this seems not very consistent, if I can start in the first 16 bits, but then extend to the 65 bit length; It is strange that it is not possible to start a length of 2 ^ 35 and looking for only 2 bytes...

In addition, using the argument 'number of bytes' said: the function returns an error if you pass a value greater than UINT_MAX.

On a 64-bit system, using, as required, ssize_t, UINT_MAX is a very small number...?

I completely misunderstood the idea of ssize_t or there are a few bugs in the implementation of the functions of 32-bit / 64-bit.

All of the functions of "String Manipulation" to which belong the two FindPattern and CopyString do not support strings longer than bytes INT_MAX. Note that StringLength (which is this set of eqivalent of strlen functions) returns an int. These functions have not been modified to support longer strings, because it was not expected that a program will work with any strings longer than 65 535 bytes in length. This conservative approach was taken to avoid unnecessary warnings when porting 32-bit code to compile in 64-bit mode. Consider the following line:

    int len = StringLength (str);

When it is compiled in 64-bit mode, this line generates no new warnings. If StringLength had been changed to return a ssize_t, there would be a new warning to compiler on to value truncation (just as you saw during the passage of strlen in CopyString).

If you work with generic memory, rather than true channels, you are probably better off using the ANSI functions (e.g., memcpy, strlen, etc.).

  • integer of 32 bits carried by gpib

    Hello

I currently write software for the acquisition of data and control for a testing machine Instron with a GPIB Bus with Labview. The machine is not the youngest, so I cannot use the 488 commands, not the VISA controls. My control software works this far, but with the acquisition of data, I encountered some problems for which I couldn't find a solution that far. I just taught Labview to myself two months there, so sorry if my questions seem silly to you. I searched the forum and the internet and could not find an answer to them.

    So here's my problem:

I like to read my Machine with the command "GPIB-read" data, it gives a string, so I gues it automatically assumes that the data are encoded in ASCII. Well, the machine uses its own coding, described in its manual! I read the header of the measure (it's '#I' in the ASCII format), after that there is a signed 32-bit integer that represents the length of my block of data. Then there is a 16-bit byte and after a lot of 32-bit signed bytes that represent my measurement data. There is no mark of separation.

When I got out, I just get a string of crazy ASCII code (outside the "#I" at the beginning)

My approach to decode the message, that is that:

Convert the ASCII code in binary code (not with Labview, I couldn't know how it works, either. there at - it an easy way to do this?), so I ignore the first 64 Bits (2x8Bits of the entire + 32 bits wide + 16-bit header) and then I try to divide the string into an array of 32 bytes long strings and see if the data is good. In my assessment, I had three values that when it is constant, it should be just three alternate values. I always get the wrong data and especially not, I work with Labview, but later I have to because I want to view the data in real time.

There is a lot of work and I just wanted to know, if I'm on the right track or if there is a simpler solution. Later, it shouldn't be a problem to display an array of integers as a wave, right? Is there any advice or you can give me any advice?

    Sincerely,

    Simon

    1. Request VISA 488.  So I don't see why you can't use the VISA.
    2. A byte is 8 bits.  There is therefore no such thing as a 16-bit byte.  It's a Word.
    3. The string Unflatten is your friend here.  You can use it to decode every part of your order.  And since your actual data is just a string of 32-bit words, you can use the Unflatten of string to turn that into an array directly, just to make sure "Data includes table size" is set to false.

  • FPGA DDS phase 64-bit register

    Hello!

I have some difficulty in updating the code below to use a registry of phase 64-bit instead of just 32-bit or link. I can change the value of control to 64-bit data types, as well as pass the fancy addition with wrap vi to 64-bit. I'm not sure, but how should I change change of logic-5.

    Thanks in advance!

    http://www.NI.com/example/31066/en/

When you split a U64 you get two U32. The Subvi expected U16 (you see the points of constraint due to incorrect data types).

I suggest shifting the U64 3 bits, then divided in two U32, divide the top once again to the two U16. Since you staggered 3-bit the first 3 bits are 0, resulting in a 13-bit address. The lower U16 is for interpolation.

  • Someone knows how to upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit to dm3?

    Hi all

Recently, I bought my computer laptop pavilion dm3-1028tx (sp9300, 4 GB ddr3). Unfortunely only it comes with oem windows 7 Home premium 32-bit instead of windows 7 64-bit.

Due to the characteristic of 32 bits, its only 3 GB of ram could be used.

IM plan to upgrade my windows 7 Home premium 32-bit to 64-bit windows 7 home premiun.

I tried to contact microsoft in my country, they said I should ask to HP, if I could spend my windows because its OEM.

Someone knows how to upgrade my windows 7 32 bit to windows 7 64 bit without having to buy a new one? Please help me I do not know.

    Thanks a lot guys

Unfortunately, you will need to buy the 64-bit version, unless you can get HP to you give 64-bit free citing inability to use all of the memory as a customer support/advocacy.   But you should check on HP website to see if your model was first 64-bit drivers.

He will have to do a new installation as well.  And if HP is not actively support 64-bit for your model, you will lose the HP software (most consider bloatware anyway).  You will also lose built in recovery option.  So, at least, make sure you create your restore disks.

You may be able to wash to recover the partition, but I don't know how you would be able to use it without recovery software that HP has loaded.
