  If you want to delete several messages click and hold down the Alt key and roll the ball control to select, and then click the menu button and select Remove. Another way is to highlight the date that appears on the top of the post, and then click menu to select delete before. This option allows to delete all the mails below the date.

  Sorry, but it's a problem and a pain to deal with. It should be fixed in the next update to 2.1. Because now I would recommend either using Gmail for all your email or you can try K-9 mail a free app on the market. I've been using K - 9 since I had the same problem as you with 200 emails and no way to remove them. It is also a way to delete all e-mails that are now in your phone in one fell swoop. It will remove all well. Move the menu, and then click settings. In settings, go to Applications, then Manage Applications. Now, scroll down to Email and select it, click clear data and don't worry about the warning. Now, go to the e-mail engine and clear data here too. Will be deleted after this all your emails from your phone. Now, make sure that your stock email app does not download more to change to manual recovery and not automatically. If you choose K-9, it is easy to set up and works very well. If you use hotmail or yahoo, it could give a warning about this, but they do not work for me. Gmail can also be configured to retrieve your emails from other institutions. The choice is yours.

  I had the ride for 24 hours and have had blockages my 4 BlackBerry previous combined.

  5 times, I selected a number of e-mails (note - E-mail synchronized to Exchange through BES) to delete, and as soon as the process begins, the unit freezes with the little clock icon in the middle of the screen (hands frozen in place). The only way to fix this was to remove the battery and restart the device. VERY frustrating because the tour takes FOREVER to restart.

  I chose before deleting before and he has released 50 messages at a time and did not even see a timer. I imagine more emails most likely would be to heppen but this shouldn't happen on say 10-20 at a time or even 30-40. especially pretty forcing you to have to pull the battery.

  There are 4 possible things that could be the cause.

  1 shift of BB software - reload resettoctory or software should fix this

  2. 3rd party software interference - find out what apps are running in the background by opening the application switcher

  3. Exchange/BES Server lag - not much you can do, but your could restart servers, or delete and readd to the system

  4. memory leaks - check your memory just before doing a mssive delete (registered options) and then, if you can get to this betweentimers, check once again, then check again after battery pull. compare all.

  Another thing you can do is to accumulate 50 emails, check the steps of tests for numbers 2 and 4. When Delete Deletes 25 of them. After that timer and battery remove, delete the other 25 right away and see if you get a timer then.

  CTRL works, but you get only select or deselect a mail with a simple click. Shift allows to choose between the two clicks and ctrl + A selects everything in the folder.

  By doing this kind of thing, pressing DELETE is perhaps better than using your mouse as it is easy to spoil the selection carefully with a mouse jiggle at the wrong time. (Experience speaking here)

  Search here and elsewhere but do not find an answer to my question. On previous Motorola phones, I could delete multiple text messages in just long-pressing the specific text message in a thread... then tapping each additional I wanted to delete... and then selecting delete. This way I could whittle down some long threads.

  However, since I got my Verizon Moto X, it seems that the only way to remove any message text is either one-at-a-time, or all of the text don't thread at once... no more the ability to choose several text messages in a thread to delete several at once? I forgot something, or a simple feature common sense has been removed?

  My question is not focus on deleting a thread complete or using the default value for a maximum number of messages to be automatically deleted (i.e. the maximum of 500). Its more specific to trimming/weeding out text messages in a thread in the messaging app.

  To solve the problem, I signed in Microsoft Outlook.com and managed to delete messages as well as notify Microsoft about junk e-mail. So far, when you use Windows live mail, I received an email from the same source as before and was able to remove it.

  Symptom:

  Unable to delete several messages at the same time with web inbox in UC 8.x

  Conditions:

  This feature existed in 7.x but not in the Inbox web 8.x

  The bug is considered an improvement of product and will be dealt with in the output unit connection

• Thunderbird has deleted my messages "deleted" instead of put them in a folder

  I use Thunderbird in IMAP on a laptop running Vista. Recently, I used several Thunderbird on a laptop under XP. He doesn't have a problem - I've done it before. However, when I went back to my original Vista laptop, I found that I was now two folders called "deleted", but when I deleted a message from my Inbox it will not be sent to one of them. I then tried to remove the most recent 'deleted' folder but found that instead, I had deleted the original! It is annoying because it was full of messages that I would normally leave for 30 days.

  Still, my deleted messages are not sent to any folder. If I try to select another folder that "deleted", it does not send them there no more.

  How can I return to the status quo? And is it possible to recover the original "deleted" folder and make sure that I have remove the last?

  My guess is that Thunderbird on the computer created XP file "deleted" you see on the Vista computer, more specifically, what IMAP has created. When you opened the TB on the machine Vista IMAP updated TB to reflect changes made on the XP machine. IMAP will not let you delete the folder because it is linked to TB of XP. And as you discovered one created with Vista deleted without problem. One of your computers is acting as "Administrator", or primary. The other is a client of all kinds. When you set up IMAP from your computer the software makes a few assumptions. One computer (Vista) is the principal. Then you have the other computer system related. You have synchronized upward with the Vista machine. Insofar as the "Deleted" message goes, it's possible there are two. A he stayed right where he is and two that he disappeared. If its still in your Inbox, then it probably means that you, the user of Vista, mark it for deletion, and all that remains is for the XP user, it would be you, delete. Don't forget, IMAP think there two users on this email account. If it is gone so it's time for hair removal. Have a friend send e-mails with text in the body in order to distinguish them and do some experiments. Nothing but a good experience. It's Google; "The differences between POP and IMAP. IMAP allows users to store their email on remote servers. I say all this to check your settings. If none of this helped, I'm sorry. Write new and in detail what you did and what happened. More is better. Good luck
