  I have an Essbase cube that recently began to experience sometimes very long calc. The cube was in a 9.3.1 environment for about 4 months and there have not been major additions to the data. Just to add real each month. I had a CalcAll in 2 minutes and now it runs in 2 + hours. This happens mainly during the night. The size of the page file is 267Mb and index file is 25 MB. The data cache and the cache of index are currently fixed at 400 000 Ko and Ko 120 000 respectively.

  Here are a couple of things to think about
  What is the databasename.ind file? How many times you restructure the database? If it is large, this means that the database is fragmented (you can also check the stats from database to help him understand) every time you runn the calc, you cause the fragmentation.
