  I am changing a course created with Captivate 5, Captivate 7 and for some reason any background image slide 35 appeared in all the slides after one and I can not remove. The most interesting thing is that when you look at the film slides, they are different (like the original) than on the workspace that contains the background image, I'm trying to delete (screenshot below).

  Would have been easier if you did it before you create the slides (preferences, default values).

  For existing slides:

  • Activate the film
  • Use CTRL + A to select all slides
  • In the properties panel for 5 seconds change time

• Add a watermark to all the slides in a project

  I have a project with multiple slides already created. I would like to add an image as a watermark in the corner of each slide. I added it to the first slide and I thought when I clicked on the 'Apply to all' checkbox on the properties of the image screen that it spread to all the slides. But this does not happen. I selected 'apply to all' under the settings button.

  How can I add an image to all the slides in the exact same task?

  Apply to all applies settings to all objects of the same type.

  If you want your image to be displayed on all slides, double-click it, then click the Options tab. Click the display of the drop-down list, and then choose the rest of the project.

• Make a break all the slides on the last image

  Does anyone have a suggestion for all the slides to pause on the last frame of the slide? I know that I can put a button, but I don't want to put a new button on EACH page. I was hoping I could put a swf file in the first slide and make it work for all slides regardless of the number of images.
  
  I looked in the read variables, but none of them will tell me the number of images to a slide or a frame of a current slide.

  Thanks for the tip. The click box seems to work to pause the project at the end of the slide by putting it on pause until clicked by the user.

• Replay recording stopping at all the slides

  I use auto recording with version 5.5, and when the project is played it stops at each slide requireing me pless play. I did nothing at all ad spin as administrator on my machine.

  Hello

  When you registered, you probably saved Simulation assessment or training Simulation mode. In either of these modes, Captivate adds a box click object that makes pause playback of the slide master where you clicked. If you don't want to do, save again in demo mode, or configure the zones to click, so they don't break.

  I want to use a menu in my project, but not on screens that are capturing software like the title of the menu is sitting on the text necessary to capture - any chance I can choose only the slides that I want the menu appears on?

  Hi Alex

  Sorry, I think that it's all or nothing with regard to the menu. You wish by clicking project > skin-> surrounded by tab and allowing the top border. If you do this, the menu should go up in the new border area where it will not hide any part of the project.

  I created a quiz with 20 questions and you want to limit users have 10 minutes to complete.

  The build in widget shows only a slide...

  Anyone know how to create a timer that maintains the counting and will stay on each question slides?

  If you want to display the timer and restart on each slide, add it to the slide master. If you want the calendar for the full amount of slides, add it to the first Question slide and set it to show to the rest of the project. If you must get rid of the timer later (after the slides in question), you'll have to hide using an action at the entrance to the first slide where you won't see the widget of the timer.

  Right-click on the property and select change writing.  Now you can wire a constant to the property node.

  The albums are not store photos. Are simply referencing the photos in the photo library.  If you delete photos from your library, either from "Photos" or "pictures", the photo fade of all albums that use this picture.  Photos in albums and "All Photos" are not duplicates, pictures of the library, they are simply a different way to access the same pictures you see in the years of Moments, Collections,.

  If I build a sensitive project and slides, I need to unlock the height of the slide in mobile mode on some slides to create a scrolling to display more content.

  When I adjust the height of the blade, it develops all the objects in the background of the slide (my header, title...). These elements are not merged.

  I feel your pain. I struggled with this for a long time, but finally found a solution.

  If you want to extend the height of the blade, creating a scroll bar. But you want certain elements to stretch and others do not.

  
  

  Object to Extensible NOT / Static

  • Create in the Slide Master
  • Set the properties top and % Relative height.

  Stretch/dynamic objects

  • Create directly in slide film
  • Set the Top % Relative property
  • Set the Height property for % (not related).

  I recommend to create a slide film finalized and then duplicate this slide for all other instances.

  Let me know if it works.

• Text appears (at random) to Saba, not seen in the slide in the project or in the display film (Version of Captivate 9.0.1.320)

  First report was some text on the button, the shape's text, standard text boxes were not appearing on some slides to SABA. Investigate this, when I open the captivate file I see lack of text on several slides and views of the film. When I click on physically on the text box, shape, or the button on the slide, or in the timeline panel, they appear. I save and close the project. reopen the project itself and the text is not there.

  Here is a screenshot.  You can see that there should be a lot of text on this slide but none shows in these two places. Someone at - he seen this before?

  

  Ok.  Well, if your project has become corrupted, that would seem so, a solution is to try to hide groups of slides and republication to see if you can solve the problem in this way.  If you can, it means that corruption is limited to these slides hidden away somewhere. Then you can refine it further.

  You can also try to copy all the slides on to a new project of the same size file.

  Sometimes, that will remove corruption because it forces Captivate to rename all objects.

  However, if this does not work, you need to think to rebuild from scratch.

• Captivate 8 button Retake Quiz - return to the slide of the wrong question

  I have not yet fixed my problem of button retake quiz. I have a project with several questions of practices not classified (hot spot, drag n drop, 2 several multiple choice answers) followed by 9 questions 'real' test. I want students to return 'true' test questions when they click on the recovery test button. Now, the recovery quiz button brings back me to the first multiple choice question in the practical section - not the first 'real' test question.

  In the Interactions for the first multiple choice question (and the 2nd as well), I see that nothing appears in the neck to include in the questionnaire and responses report = no, but an entry appears in Objective ID and ID of Interaction. I don't see this credential anywhere in the QUIZ tab - I wonder if this is what pushed the button quiz in this slide.

  

  Attempt to correct:

  I saw the response of Lilybiri to "Captivate 8 resume Quiz" entry. It seemed like the perfect solution to my problem. So I created an Action conditional Advanced:

  If cpQuizInfoAttempts is greater than 1 go to (1 'real' test slide #) continue on the other

  The 'real' 1 slide test I put this conditional action on enter.

  It did not work. Please help me determine what I am doing wrong and how to fix this quiz of recovery. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I'm getting desperate!

  You must have read my response wrong. Condition is OK, but you have to trigger on enter for the first issue of practice, not on the first slide of the real issue. As the recovery button will take the user to the first practical question slide, this action will be evaluated and the jump to the first slide of the real question occur. Assumed, here are that all the slides in practice before all the question slides.

• No Progression of the slide in PPTX don't Captivate 7

  After you import a PPTX file in Captivate 7 it does not progress (to start) as it does in the PowerPoint slide.)  Is it a framework preventing PowerPoint?  All the slides in Captivate are without Action and go to the slide next and this even happens if No Action is changed to continue.  When published and go with the button next in Captivate, you arrive at a black screen.
