  • Dell Dock exe "application not found" error after cleaning malware virus and fix registry problems

Hey guys!, I had a problem with malware. (In particular this Vista Internet Security * who seems to knock everyone). I fixed this problem as well as the issue with the thing of my Microsoft Security (which sets the windows Defender) and then I went through and fixed my registry problems who came later as some aftereffect of the virus. (Phew!) Now that it is finally all done I click on my dock dell to go to internet explore and BAM! "Application not found" in an area which the header indicates dell dock.exe. Now I just got through my fixing registry problems so that I have all my .exe programs can open without a problem. All other issues are resolved except this! What's wrong?! Please, someone help. (I can get Internet explore any other way, but it's not my PC and I don't want the owner to think I broke it) PS Can't do system restore I would lose my updates which are very necessary can't do a registry fix because I already did and I don't want to mess with it again is not sure if reinstall dell dock should solve the problem I just install IE9 and all my other icons in dell dock work very well

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.

You must have Dell Dock for your computer works correctly.  It's just a convenience tool that Dell put on their computers.  If you want a working version, you can download here

    http://www.delldock.com/ .

Don't forget there is no other things that got corrupt however.  Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

  • "Dell Dock has stopped working" - very annoying!

    MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 normal 0

    Hello

I can't tell you how much time and effort that I spend trying to solve this problem, but it seems impossible.

I bought an Inspiron 1525 laptop only 4 months ago and was very happy with the functionality of Dell Dock as it made life easier when you work with Office. It was until the Dell Dock bananas bleeding no longer works. This is quite annoying, because everytime I turn on the computer I get the error message about 5 times in a row! And when I try to send the error report I get another error! How frustrating...

I tried to get rid of it and reinstall but it won't work.

Called Dell and they told me, they offer no support for this and I would need to pay ££ for assistance.

Now it's ridiculous! I'm not asking the software, 'Geniuses Dell' decided to install this piece of defective software in my machine and now refuses to provide assistance! Shame on you Dell!

Well, if you are a user and having the same nightmare, please let me know if you have found a solution, I'll be very grateful and you can light a candle.

My husband has a Dell Inspiron Zino HD, who had the same problem.  I went to www.delldock.com.  They have a free download for dell dock.  I did the download and fixed it in this computer.  No more error Dell Dock.  It's worth a try, and it's free.  Good luck.

  • Dell Dock does not automatically run at startup

Previously, I put my dell dock to run automatically at startup. Now everytime I turn on my computer, it shows me a message saying: 'the Dell docking station has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. »

There is an option to "Restart the Dell Dock", but the same message appears again.

When I try to click on the button 'Send error report', the answer I get is always, 'there was an error when the error report is sent. Please try again. »

Is there a way I can disable the autostart upward while I encounter this problem again? Or do I have to uninstall the Dell Dock altogether? Happened last month, and it's getting pretty boring.

Uninstall the Dell docking station might be the best course of action.  Type "programs" in your Start menu and choose the outcome of the search for programs and features .  Then look for Dell Dock in the list and remove it.

You can go to http://delldock.com to reinstall if you choose (although personally, I do not see why someone wants to double the number of toolbars on the screen).

If it was useful, you can vote by clicking on the green triangle. If it solves the problem, click on propose as answer. Thank you!

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/Troubleshoot-camera-connection-problems

You probably need to recharge the device drivers and camera control software (usually included
with the drivers and installed at the same time).

    Login as an administrator.

Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.
on this subject and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who are unable to do anything as MS
is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
    will update the driver stack.

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the camera and the other related camera
software (if not more recent get the same).

Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each driver.

Manually look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers to 7 (update drivers manually using the methods above is preferred
to make sure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)

Then let windows updates on however prevent loading of drivers who are often older than the
those that you have installed. If updates suggests a pilot and then HIDE it and watch manually to see if their
really is a more recent version (at the time system manufacturer and the sites of the manufacturer of the device).
