  With or without the N, this is the same model, assuming this is a laptop.   Now, there are cases where the same model number is used for desktop and portable systems, which can lend to confused - I don't think that's the case here.

  As far as I know, this laptop has only 1 antenna. And so there is no need to upgrade most other than the original 802.11 g.

  In additional, there are small speed increase even if for some new laptops using 802.11n. 1501 is 5 years old.

  Better to save the money for a new system in the future.

  I have another question as well... the second day of my purchase of this product, that the screen is empty, n when I tried to turn on the key to the power of the laptop, a message appeared that the display driver has stopped responding earlier and it happened recently in a few days back as well. • Dell Inspiron N5110 does not support Windows 10?

  I'll try once more to make this post to cause the previous, it never went live.

  I have a 3 years old Dell Inspiron N5110 i5 / 8GB ram/Nvidia/Win 7 home premium and I am very pleased with his performance and build quality. Yesterday, I tried to book a copy of Windows 10 and after struggling to make the pop icon in my taskbar, I managed to get it jump.

  When I clicked the Get Windows 10 icon to get the reserve he came with this message...

  I have 2 laptops more than 2-3 years older than my N5110 and both are qualified and reserved for the update...

  Just update your BIOS to A11, waiting for some time (a few hours or a day) and everything will be Ok.
