  If the webcam does not work, I recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the webcam drivers.

  To uninstall the Dell webcam central software, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Start.
  2. Click on Control Panel.
  3. Using the drop down next to the view by: in the upper right, select large icons.
  4. Click programs and features.
  5. Click Dell Webcam Central.
  6. Click on uninstall.
  7. Confirm the uninstallation by clicking OK.
  8. Once uninstalled, restart the computer.

  Hello, my wifi card has had a history of problems before now, I had to reset it frequently that I lost the connection easily. Today, I had to start questions so I did a hard reset on my computer. Then I realized the wifi adapter "disappeared" networks and sharing centre and I could not connect to any wifi. Broadcom wireless adapter was also hidden in Device Manager. • Dell Precision does not recognize installed Plextor SATA CD/DVD-RW optical drive

  Help!  I installed the drive physically and the works of power IE draw randomly goes in & out.  I tried to plug the SATA cable into the two slots on the motherboard and not work IE I don't see the drive in Explorer solutions or my computer.

  Model is Plextor PX-810SA

  PC:

  • running XP Professional SP2
  • has 2 SATA drives
  • a CD RW/DVD IDE in the top slot 5.5
  • I put the DVD SATA in the 2nd slot 5.5

  NB PC still sees the IDE CD RW/DVD drive and I had to run Guided Help which removes the upper and lower filter registry entries a couple of months.

• Dell Precision M90 recently upgraded to x 64 Win7 can not get correct graphics, stuck with the Standard VGA Graphics Adapter Card

  I have a Dell Precision M90 laptop and recently upgraded to Vista 32 bit to 64 bit Windows 7.  Everything worked perfectly, except for my display drivers.  Windows 7 installed a driver called Standard VGA Graphics Adapter.  This driver has a very low resolutions only and cannot deal with games or same Aero.

  I had an experience with updated video drivers with Vista.  My graphics card is a NVIDIA Quadro FX 2500 M.  When I had Vista there is no Vista compatible driver for this card, so I used the Geforce 7900GTX driver (which is inspired by the FX 2500 M) and it worked fine.  Of course, the Quadro FX 2500 M doesn't have a driver compatible windows 7.

  I downloaded the driver for the 64 - bit Windows 7 Geforce 7 series so I could upgrade and use, however when I used the NVIDIA installer it says that my computer has no compatible hardware for this driver (I tried to install it in Vista compatibility as well).  I tried to force the upgrade by using the option "have disk" and choosing the .inf directly file.  This did not always and said that he could not work because "the selected driver for this device does not support this version of Windows" even if it is the version of Windows 7.

  I also tried to start my computer in safe mode, uninstall the VGA Standard driver and then install the driver NVIDIA, but it does not work either.

  Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to add as much information as possible I hope to solve this problem.  Thank you for taking a look and thanks for your suggestions!

  Fixed!  Finally!  Dell.com took the pilot... but the link that they had posted on the page of Precision M90 was mislabeled.  I tried another way, found the good pilot, and got, it works.  Solved the days and days of frusturation.

  You need to replace the display cable to install a higher - resolution Panel and the edge model on board probably will need a whole new top half of the system (including the back cover, bezel, hinges, etc.).

  Please let me know which operating system you currently have on the computer. It's 10 or windows 8.1. Because the version you are trying to install is for windows 10. Also please go to Device Manager and confirm the card this wireless network adapter option.
