Look on the printer for the default scan settings, perhaps under the key (if you have printer a)
Make sure that the appropriate paper size is selected. You can try automatic but I like to use a fixed paper size

a. Select the text you want to print.
b. hold the Ctrl (control) key, and then press P.
c. under the general tab, select expanded selection of pages.
d. click apply and print.
This example displays the text you have highlighted and also works for specific images.

All of a sudden my HP OJ 6500 E 710 print only about 2/3 of the text on 4 X 6 "index cards. The left side of the map is perfect, but about an inch and a half is missing on the right side, just empty. I am at a loss it was working perfectly, the last time I printed cards. Full 8-1/2 X 11 "pages print correctly. Help!

I did uninstall another and got rid of the Preferences file. Voila! This works. I'm not crazy about not understanding why, but he works at a time when he really needs to work.

Means that I can not use the key I bought and must buy a new one? It seems really unfair because I've already spent money on the upgrade.

If you see error 0xC004F061 when you try to activate Windows 8, this means that you are using a product key for an upgrade of Windows 8 version and a previous version of Windows wasn't on your PC when Windows 8 was installed. To install a Windows 8 upgrade version, you must already have Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP installed on your PC.
If you have formatted the drive until the upgrade of Windows 8 version has been installed, you will not be able to use your upgrade product key to activate Windows 8. To activate Windows 8, you will need to install your previous version of Windows, and then reinstall Windows 8. Help with the activation process, contact technical support.

I have an e mail with quite a large amount of attachments, sitting in the Outbox in WINDOWS MAIL. In my view, that attachments are at the origin of the problem. I'm having a problem with my printer does not print. What I do I uninstall the printer and reinstall then it works very well for a week or two and then the problem starts again until I have reinstall the printer again. The printer has ink, so it's not the problem. That's how I know it does not print: when I try to print a cartridge level page show empty and I can't print. Yet once, when I uninstall/reinstall the printer, then the catridge levels show complete and then I can print. I thought that maybe it could be that some issue that when I uninstall the printer that not all components are removed. I uninstall not uninstall printer functionality and not the Add/Remove Control Panel. Uninstall from the control panel would solve this problem? Please notify. Thank you, John

2 when was the last time it was working fine?
3. do you have security software installed on the computer?
4. you receive an error message when printing?
I suggest you run the fixit tool available in the link when you are unable to print on the computer and check if it helps below.

Dell V305 printer hangs up when printing
I followed old/other information about this issue. I had NO problem until the last 2 weeks after using this printer for 2-3 years. I deleted all THE old drivers, etc. downloaded the drivers from Dell (2 different times). Each time, the printer will print properly 1 & only 1 time, then hang up to anywhere from 5% to 60%. The work will not cancel or leave the queue so that I have to then my whole computer shut down & restart. I tried printing from my laptop & my PC... with the same results. I hate the thoughts of buying a new printer (which is NOT a Dell), but it seems this might be my only option! Any other suggestions before I chuck this thing out the window?

Two options that cause printing problems. The first is that internet Explorer 11 was installed in December at the origin of the problem.
Open Internet Explorer, click on help, then click about words of Internet Explorer. It should show the version here. If you IE11, then go to control panel, Windows Update, updates installed, look for Internet Explorer 11. Click Internet Explorer 11, uninstall.
Restart the computer when you are prompted. Then see if your printer works.
