  I'm launching given Simulator demo/sample applications.

  Most of them is errors.

  for example.

  For the HTTPDemo project, I get this error

  I am running Simulator version 5.0.0.592 - 8900 - and using eclipse plug-ins.

  I tried to look for the cause, some say that this class 'command' is available on version 6.0 of the Simulator only, so it will not work on this one and to use 4.5 samples instead.

  But I couldn't find examples for 4.5.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  the examples in this folder from your eclipse installation (change the JRE version number):

  as you work with 5.0 I suggest that you use 5.0 samples.

  Another option would be to change the JRE of the eclipse at 6.0, depends on the target of your project.

• CRA and IPCC Express

  Hello

  ARC is required for the deployment of the IPCC Express Premium? In the demo flash, Application Administration, customer response was used to display the reports of the IPCC Express in real time. Is there another way to display these reports, if the CRA is not installed?

  The CRA is an engine which includes IP/IVR and IPCC Express, the queue manager. Depends on your license, you can run one of these products.

  So, you have the CRA administration web page. You can access the reports in real time through the supervisor page: http:///AppSupervisor. You add a user to the CRA with supervisor privileges in order to get the page of supervisor.

  This is the full version, but I also tried installing their demo version and still get the same error.

  I also tried running it in a virtual machine under Windows XP on the same computer and works very well there.

  When the user changes unit_price or quantity, the price is calculated together total whith, this is done using javascript

  I want to accomplish is add when you click line, and then the total row of the report should remain the last row

  I managed to do it, but when I add a line and then fill in the same row is ignored by apex, 0 rows inserted

  This is because when you change a field in the hidden input field fcud_xxxx does not change to would be "to 'C'

  How can I fix this, I have to write a change event for each column?

  any other ideas?

  I created a demonstration of this in page 4 a new application in your workspace. However, this leads to a number of other problems. As I'm not sure of the magnitude that these additional questions were present or planned in the original, I left things to this page 4 and started from scratch on pages 586 and 587. In general, the JS code in the example seems to be too procedural. It does not entirely the ability to work at a higher level of abstraction using jQuery (' write less do more ") and the DOM objects. Doing this, in conjunction with dynamic actions APEX gives more compact code, better separation of concerns and an application that is much easier to debug and maintain. Compare the use of the CSS level page and unique dynamic action to bind several columns of report versus change events manually adding/changing the attributes of style event and online at the column level.

• Modal calling report that calls another Page to the APEX 5

  I have an interesting question here for the community...

  Using APEX, theme 42 5.  I have a report with a button that will call a modal form.  on the form modal is a LOV which will set a value to the calling page.  If the value returned to the calling page, I then need to redirect to another page in the application by assigning a page element on the new page with the value that I have just received from the modal page.

  I have everything up to the second rec = direct working in a test environment and I have problems with redirection...

  It seems to be nothing more complicated than missing data. Run this query showed that there is no data in the BLOB column for all rows:

  select product_id, product_name, dbms_lob.getlength(product_image) from apa$nf_products
  

  I downloaded an image of the product of the belt and it seems to work fine.

  Your page theme styles hide the span inside the label tag tags.

  So I change the template tag and removed the span it.

  Also, it seems so styles are perhaps missing as ToolTip is transparent.

• What line has been activated in a (updated report) SQL query?

  I have an app with a report based on a query SQL (PL/SQL function...) defined on the Global Page.

  I want on the pages where the report is used, click on a particular column (TCKT_ID), and then pass the values of this line to another page for treatment.

  I would like to know things:

  (1) how to determine which line clicked?  The column is TCKT_ID and it is used as a link to another page.  The SQLis a significant (for me!) join the tables.

  (2) how to see the values of other columns in the same row?  Because I format with 'div', columns are named - no "f02", of "f03", etc.

  (3) how to pass multiple values (ENAME, JOB, MGR, SAL, COMM) to the target page?  You might ask: why not just re - query data using a unique key.  Great idea, but the unique key is four columns if I still need a way to pass these four values for this unique key.

  I built a 'pretty close' example of the situation in the present case:

  I wonder if I'm not understanding something. This seems to be a very simple thing to do without 'tricks '.

  Take a look, I modified the column LINKING_NUMBER of the report of p0.

  Basically, you specify only the fields you want to fill and their assignments.  I added 4 fields of destination on p2 to receive assignments.  Then you can do whatever you want with them as editing a report, etc...

  The only trick here is to get more than 3 elements in the URL, you must change your Page link type in this URL request.  You can specify lost elements in this way.

  The documentation is very clear on this:

  The name you give a Submit button (in other words, a button with an Action to submit the Page) determines the value of the integrated attribute REQUEST when the page sends.

  Since these aren't the buttons send and the page has not been submitted, the REQUEST is not defined.

  Having the DAs pulling on the loading of the page is not help clarify what happens on one.

  Run the page 2 in debug mode, click Submit2 and discovers the debug trace. You will see that the APPLICATION is correctly set to the P2_SUBMIT2 value specified in the DA. However, as the value of the CLAIM is not seized upon presentation, P2_REQUEST keeps the false value defined by the wrong DAs.

  Very well.  There could be ten ways to get the name of the button.   But the point of my quest was: How one seizes the value of/from 'REQUEST' for display?

  Imagine the following situation as a mere 101 APEX programming exercise.

  "The REQUEST contains the name of the button causes the page to be submitted."

• Reduction "between the column" space in a classic report

  To cram more on a screen, I want to reduce by half the spacing between columns in a classic report. Is this possible with these default settings? (I know, it can probably go negative.)

  That's why I keep going the importance of providing model information and its theme, and/or examples on apex.oracle.com when asking questions about the layout and Visual formatting. Without this information, proposed "solutions" are random speculation that produce only nets long and winding, time-wasting. As I said above, if you had 15 minutes creating an example on apex.oracle.com Thursday, you would have been answered in the night, instead of 4 days later.

  Try to encapsulate the requestFocus in Platform.runLater call - it can work (he has at least for similar things in the past for me), but I don't know why.
