DeskJet 2514: printing multiple pages

Hello...

If I need to print several copies of a document on my deskjet 2514 I need to print one at a time, otherwise it will keep printing the page over and over - example: if I select 4 copies it will print 4 then continue printing page after page, unless I have turn off the printer.

is there any solution for this?

Thank you!

Lynn

Hi @lynseyB!

Welcome to the community of HP.

I understand that you are experiencing a problem, make multiple copies of the front of the all-in-one printer HP Deskjet 2514. I want to help you find a solution to this problem.

You have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is this a surge protector or power bar? Even if you have used a surge protector/power bar this whole time and you feel that this is not the case, please connect to a wall outlet so that we can eliminate the source of energy as the primary cause. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power

In this document you will see, QUESTION: questions or problems may arise when a HP LaserJet printer is connected to a UPS (UPS), a power strip or a surge protector

Please get back to me and make me know if this solved your problem.

When a job is sent to the printer (web, Word, Acrobat, etc.) the printer keeps printing multiple pages of the document.  Sometimes it will print the first page and a second partial page, then it reprinted again and stop at the same place on the partial page.  She does over and over again.  I ran the HP Diagnostic Utility and it was impossible to print a test page, even after turning the power on power off, then on.   Any suggestions, or is * another * bad printer?  The first was sent and replaced, so I think that this model is just a lemon.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work.  I tried to reinstall the driver altogether package three times with no result.  I ran the utility programs that supposedly allows you to solve problems, but public services could not even to generate a test page.

It seems that I finally found a solution, however.  I installed an older driver for MS Vista 64-bit, and that seemed to do the trick.

I uninstalled everything related to my HP printer (in the Device Manager: printers and print queues) and searched my computer for everything related to my HP printer and deleted stuff also. Then I reinstalled the drivers and software from the HP website. I have updated Java also (I have no idea how much this has to do with my impression). After a uninstall and reinstall the complete software, I can print several pages ONCE.  All attempts after which fail - this is why an application... problem apparently.

The upgrade of operating systems does not normally solve problems, especially as you say that it is a problem of work.

  • Printing too low with the exception of the first and the last page when you print multiple pages documents.

    Original title: Question of impression

It is a new problem; I printed documents several pages in the past without problem. When you print multiple pages on my Office Jet 8000, first & last pages are not bad, but the Middle pages are too weak to read. I initially set for last page of print jobs.   Test pages are fine. I am using genuine HP 940 X cartridges.  I print only 'black '.

You should contact HP since it is certainly a printer problem.  We support the MS software & hardware here.

  • Printing multiple pages to a TIFF file multiple using Windows Photo Viewer

    Hi guys

How can I print 2 or 3 leaves only out of 68 pages in TIFF file when I open with 'Window Photo viewer'?

When press "print", it appear just 'paper size', 'quality' and 'paper' only!

Please kindly teach me to turned the pages I need.

Waiting for your reply or response!

    Hello

You did not mention the version of the operating system that is running in the computer with the problem. We know the version of operating system on this computer.

Windows Photo Viewer application allows you to view multi-page TIFF files, but it does not allow to print a number of pages in a multi-page TIFF file. In order to achieve this functionality, you can have a look at the workaround solutions provided in the answerin the following threads:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/unable-to-print-only-one-page-in-a-multiple-page/737b4afc-0D0E-4cb8-8374-f6de218720b2

(Note: in the link above, a third-party program is proposed as a workaround.) Please keep in mind that using a non-Microsoft program is at risk of the user and for all the problems arising from the use of these programs, the user must contact the manufacturer of the respective program)

I'm not one of these workarounds should help you. If you still need help on the question or with Windows, get back with more details and we will be happy to be of assistance.

  • DeskJet 3510 scan multiple pages to a file

I have a Deskjet 3510 all in one... I'm trying to scan several documents in a folder... When I scan a document and click on save, I name a file for the document to go... When I scan another document and click on save when I try to put it in the same folder I get a message saying that there is already a file with that name, do you want to replace. If I hit Yes, it get rid of my first scanned doc? When I look at what help it says don't save does not, but how to get around the above problem?

    Thank you

Well, if you use the HP utility scan it will work for you.

You're right, this is where you can be sure to determine whether you want to scan to a single file or multiple locations. However, when you are on the scanning window, there should be the main picture, then on the left there is a smaller thumbnail in a column. At the bottom of this column, there is a button with a piece of paper with a (+) mark. This will allow you to scan multiple pages in a frame.

Let me know if it works for you!

PS: Don't forget to save files in PDF format

  • DeskJet 3845 prints blank pages

I got the Deskjet 3845 printer for 6 years and I have not used for 1.5 years. I tried to get going again and every time I try to print, it prints blank pages. I just bought a new black ink cartridge and I removed the light orange Ribbon. I have Windows 8 and it's an old printer, so I don't know if it's a compatibility issue. I used printing HP and doctor scan and it said my printer was ok. However, when I printed a test page, it was empty. I'm totally stumped and I appreciate any help!

    All the best,

    Kyle

I'm sorry you have a problem with the printing of blank pages. It seems you have the problem of material with the cartridges or the printhead. More he to sit upwards and not in use, the cartridges and printheads can dry out.

  • Print multiple pages per sheet with 'Adobe PDF' printer

    Hello

at my University, I got the PowerPoint-leaves as a PDF document, where the leaves are in format landscape. Now, I want to print them. I want to print two of these pages in landscape on a sheet in portrait format.

Because I couldn't find any other way to do it, I chose 'Adobe PDF' printer and in "management" - options "Multiple pages per sheet" Page The result is correct, what I want, but there's a big problem:

Some characters are replaced with a white box with black border. Like this, it is impossible to read the content. I added a screenshot for better understanding.

I printed as picture, but it doesn't look good because it is very grainy.

Do you have suggestions for solutions? Thank you very much!

    I use Acrobat Pro X (10.1.1) on a Win 7 Professional system.

  • Print multiple pages on one sheet

I use Adobe Reader and you want to print two copies of the same document on the same sheet. It does not allow me to do that no matter the settings, I put in the print dialog box or the printer driver. I said "up to 2" and the paper size is 18 x 12, the document itself is 8.5 x 11, so there should be plenty of room. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thank you

    Mark

According to my understanding of your problem, you have a PDF of a page, and you need to print 100 copies of the same page by page, scaling of multiple Pages per sheet.

If this is the problem then cannot this using a combination of Copies and multiple Pages per sheet function.

  • Printing multiple pages on one large page

I have a document with several pages. The dimensions of these pages are in. 25 "wide x 44" in. high. Our cutting machine operator said that the machine works best with a long roll of material, so it can be feed cutter, instead of printing each page at a time. My question to you all is, somehow know Indesign to print all my pages continuously without the printer cut each page after printing? I read something about the pictures, but I like to keep my 100% pages in size. I would also avoid having a document with dimensions as 25 "in. wide by 150 ft. Any help would be much appreciated.

This should be a driver configuration, I think.
