DeskJet 3520: Deskjet support

Received notification that my deskjet 3520 printer will be is no longer supported by hp.  Got this printer on the web site hp.com in 2013, no. where on the site he mentioned this printer would be only offered another 3 years for hp.  After that, you are on your shot if you need assistance.  All my family were printers and computers laptops hp after that our new printers and laptops will not be hp.  It seems that hp is just about large sums of money.  I'm done buying anything made by hp.

Patrick.

  • Trying to install a deskjet 3520 on mac osx 10.5.8

    Hello

I am installing a deskjet 3520 all in one on my mac which is osx10.5.8 and he says he needs at least osx10.6, is there a software I can download to overcome this problem?

    Thank you!

    Hello

I'm afraid the Deskjet 3520 only supported on Mac OS X 10.6 or newer versions of the OS.

You can find the system requirements for the products listed below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03274848

Your only option to work with the printer is to upgrade the OS to Snow Leopard, or otherwise, you should contact the retailer to replace the printer in another model that supports your operating system (e.g. Deskjet 3050 Series a, Photosmart 5510 or 6510, etc..)

    Kind regards

  • DeskJet 880C work around Windows 7 Driver?

I have been informed by the HP deskjet support that HP does not provide for the supply of a windows driver for the 880c 7.  Number 1 can be changed - it is such a waste of resources?  Number 2, does anyone know of a 3rd driver or a work around solution.

    Thank you

I downloaded the windows 7 update and still cannot find a driver for 882c.  I am new to 7 so I'm having a little trouble with it.  How can I get the 882c driver?

Let's do it in two parts: first go in the devices folder and printers, add printer, a Local LPT1 port: when the list check for HP Deskjet 882c.  If the Deskjet 882c printer isn't in the list, and then click Windows Update.  After a few minutes, the list will be repopulated and the Deskjet 882 should now be available.

Select the printer Deskjet 882c, then go to step 2 #9 here.

  • Problems with the help of Deskjet 3745 on home network 2-PC

I have an old PC running Windows XP SP3 and a new one running Windows 7, but only one printer. The network that connects the PC is on an ADSL router with its own external Iomega network drive with a USB port.

To make the printer can be used on two computers,

    1. I initially plugged on the Iomega USB port. But the port was effectively a 1-way connection, so I couldn't preview before printing to see which form/profile of the printer used. So I put discarded and...
    2. revenue to the printer connected to a PC all the time and share it on the network. But two different PCs drivers needed which would not talk among themselves, and the establishment would simply not work.
    3. Finally, I went back to the simple method of the printer on the USB port of any PC, sure I needed it for us. Worked well for a while until the WINDOWS 7
    • Print preview has begun showing empty images (but print correctly).
    • print-queue doesn't have to face the cancelled documents.

I had help of Deskjet Support to address this issue, which even reinstall the drivers on two PCs - several times! But I'm still left unresolved 3 problems with Win 7 donations.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation and found a satisfactory solution to work?

Try the following: connect the printer to the XP computer and set the machine XP to share it on the network.  On the Windows 7 machine go devices and printers folder, add a printer, a local printer, create a Port, Local Port, \\Computername\Printername (use the name of the actual share of the computer and the printer), OK, and then click Windows Update, and then select (not Hewlett-Packard) HP Deskjet 3740 series (Bobo).

I just use the Software Support HP to install the drivers and software for my 3520 Deskjet on Windows 10.

At the end of the process, no software has been opened, there is no shortcut to the software available on the desktop and the printer is not available.

Windows 8.1, I could use the scanning and printing software that has been installed.

Are there instructions on how I can connect to my network printer?

    Comment

In my opinion, unless you want to print the notice yourself for some reason, this might be the time to look for a local printing Service company that can help by printing the invitations for you with your special message / staff.

You can provide the staff of print service with a sample of your message that is printed on plain paper.  This way you are not tempted and then perhaps overwhelmed with choices that may be other than what you have already decided.

    Why use a printing Service?

    • This printer also beautiful be, isn't able to print invitations from the way you expect.
    • The invitations are likely to be expensive and perhaps not easily replaceable.
    • The test phase may exceed the number of invitations you want to risk.

If you do, you could remove this in your list of items "I do" and entrusts the care professionals.

The solution to both of these post say is to disable the update is not tried to be applied, however, I use Windows 10 and it seems to be an option to ignore an update than previous versions of windows.

What are 10 Windows users supposed to do when they are run this problem?

    Hello:

As you know, Windows 10 has made it impossible to hide or ignore updates (or so it seems).

I found this tool from Microsoft that allows you to hide updates that don't work, or mess up your PC if they work, (as a synaptics touchpad update has done on my laptop).

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3073930

I saved this tool on my PC for use in the future if necessary.

  • DeskJet 3520 prints paper usually ok but food takes hold of the sheets of labels Avery too early

I have a Deskjet 3520 eAIO (wireless). Print labels Avery fine on other printers, but when I try to print them on the 3520, it seems to start to give the sheet of labels too early which means printing from more down the page (about 1/2 "") as it should. My 8 + yr old Canon print all types of avery labels with no problem, but he just finally bit the dust and I'm stuck.

    Hi panavygirl,

I understand that you have a problem with printing labels Avery to your Deskjet 3520 printer. I'll try my best to help you solve this problem. Could you please tell me the model number of your printer and the operating system that you are running on your computer?

HP Deskjet 3520 e-all-in-one and e-all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3520 product specifications the table below shows the types of paper supported. This printer doesn't support label paper. That said when you choose the type of paper in the advance printing preferences menu, try to choose a paper to heavier weight for the printing of labels.
