  Printers must be networked printers.  iOS supports Air-print printers in native mode (see Topic AirPrint - Apple Support) but AirPrint is specifically a wifi printing protocol.  If your printer is not compatible AirPrint, but compatible wifi, then make sure that the app store for one of the wifi universal several print apps.

  There is no way to directly connect an iPad to a cable of printer.  Or a cellular connection of LTE will help unless these printers are also connected LTE and can be seen by some App on the App store to manage printing on them.

  I think to buy a 3300 wireless adapter for use with my Dell 946 all-in-one. I have AT & T Wireless in my house. I have a desktop Dell Dimension 1100/B110 without wireless capability and a Dell Inspiron 1521 with wireless capabilities. Both computers use XP.

  It seems that the 3300 adapter connects to the same socket on the back of the 946 where I run the desktop printer cable.  Apparently I'll lose the printer local to my desktop computer when the computer laptop inspiron 1521 gains ability to print anywhere in the House.

  I understand my situation? Should I use the all-in-one as a network printer with desktop?

  Just having the cable Ethernet is connected to the wireless router, it will send the print command through the network to the 3300 wireless and then print, no cable necessary usb from the desktop to the printer.

  Hello world.  I have a printer in network (wired, not wireless) and Network Magic (5.5.9195.0 - Pure0) shows this device as something totally different.  See screenshot.  The information is reflected is a laptop that I had before.  The IP address is newly affected (was not in the past).  The printer is a Photosmart Premium printer.  I tried to change the NETWORKLIB. XML file (the entry does not disappear), but the wrong information still appears in the network map.

  Problem solved! It seems that my registry has become corrupted in a way that was also known when SP1 came out:

  My new desktop pc of Windows 7 has a Wireless N adapter, but given that the router is located next to I prefer to use a wired connection. When I enabled both, I noticed that the pc was connected wireless, so I disabled the wireless card and connected via wired LAN.

  Make sure that the print details are displayed by clicking on the blue triangle next to the name of the printer.

  If you do not see the options yet, please specify which application you are printing from.

  First of all, make sure that the accessory of the duplexer is enabled

  Enter System preferences Print Fax Double click the printer, and then click Printer Setup

  Make sure the duplex accessory is checked in the driver tab

  If so, the print dialog box is slightly different - click Copies of Pages at the top of the print dialog box, and then click page layout

  You should see the duplex option and can save your settings as a preset for future use

  If you use another Application, please specify which one is it

• Irregular problem connecting to the wired network

  My Windows 7 PC has an irregular problem, connect to the local network of cable through a provided network of the netgear modem/router.

  The connection timeout is the question and sometimes takes a while four two minutes or more.

  A reboot of the pc never seems to resolve but (quite often, in fact usually) will be a restart of the modem.

  The modem is always on (as the announced network connection is supposed to be).

  The network provider has replaced the modem, and the problem persists. This leads me to believe that there is a start up or similar problem with the pc.

  I ran the troubleshooter in windows... no chance/results. Is there a "fixit" tool I could try or something similar?

• Windows 7 included drivers for my printer hp deskjet 6840, but they are no longer there. I have been unable to rind a solution, same arter an hour with the help of ms tech. Any ideas?

  After a long distance move, I created my computer exactly as it had been.  My deskjet 6840 no longer works.  A ms service technician took a drivers installed to another computer and now it prints when telegraphed, but not wireless.  Download HP site said no downloadable drivers, and Microsoft does not support any help.  I would just use another printer, but I have a few hundred dollars for a value of ink cartridges for it and am not prepared to throw.  Anyone have any ideas?
