  I tried many links with the foregoing that other people have found and I have always come with the message "Desktop Manager is not working - Windows is looking for a solution."  Finally I found one that works without having to adjust all the settings on your PC or to uninstall other programs.

  I am with O2 UK and done a search on Google for Blackberry Desktop Manager for O2 [try the same with the name of your own service provider].  After following a number of sites, I ended up on a page of RIM that I had not seen before which gave me a drop-down list of options for Windows and MAC OS and all handsets Blackberry Desktop Manager.  I clicked on the Windows operating system and got the attached link

  It loaded OK and found and installed my Bold 9700.   I've set up and ran configuration 2 lanes and normal service resumed!

  If you use the Vista licence as part of the upgrade to Windows 7 you cannot use the license of Vista anywhere elsewhere

  It is part of the upgrade process

  and also read this on licensing rules;

  If Windows was preinstalled on your computer, Dell, HP, etc., or you bought an OEM/license disk, they are both classified as an OEM license and are not transferable.

  The Windows OEM license is linked to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
  You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

  If a retail Windows license, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
  But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

  A single license is a single Installation.

  Incidentally (and this is not a complaint) by clicking on desktop icons now open full-screen windows, which suits me very well, but when I hit the screen button "reduced" on a window then all windows to open in reduced format, but ALL are EVEN smaller.  I'll play a little more but thanks again.   I restarted Firefox, and I changed the settings of the homepage one a different choice and return to the page you want and then restarted Firefox again. This eliminated all initial tabs opening to open in the new window. I don't know how all the pages have been cached or what I should have done, but I don't have that problem anymore.

  First: toshiba DOES not support any operating system server on their machines. You know the difference between a * LAPTOP * and a * SERVER *?

  If you know where is the difference so you can answer yourself why toshiba gives no support in this sense.
  The other point (to come to the technical part), is that you can probably install Windows Server 2003 on your computer. And you can search for drivers. But no one here could give you assistance, you´re completely on your on. (And NO, it has NO official connection :/)
