• Is it possible to remove my laptop from a domain and keep my desktop, documents, settings, etc.

  Once you remove the computer from the domain, the user profile that you use will not be available. However, you should be able to copy the majority of all the menus of programs, documents and other files, etc. to a new log-in.

  When you turn off the computer and Office Documents, your files reside in iCloud by car, and a new folder is created on your Mac. You can move files to iCloud drive to your Mac as you need it, or select all the files and make them drag to the location that you want to keep them.

  3. Deselect Desktop and Documents folders.

• Documents & files transferred to iCloud Desktop

  Even though I am quite certain that I refused the option move these two folders to iCloud when I was installing Sierra, that's where they found themselves. What setting change in order to get back them on my hard drive? A screenshot would be useful.

  Under the checkbox for "Optimize Mac Storage", it says "the whole contents of iCloud drive is stored on the Mac if you have enough space." I use 500G of 3 t of my Mac's hard drive.   What I found on my Mac, office files and Documents are still exactly where they were and with all my documents in them. They are simply not displayed in the home folder in Finder.

  Update: when you disable Desktop and Documents, it warns you that the contents of these two files will be available in iCloud drive. In my view, that he also warned me when he finished the dissociation.

  This device is quite an old device, however if your 10 read windows, its great!

  You can maybe try the HP scan & capture software, or capture him windows embeded 10 image.

  Try windows Fax and scan or microsoft paint, sp that you save the files and then print.

  I hope that gives you another idea.

  The answer depends on what you mean by "the folder is saved at least three places".

  Delete probably NOT one of them... at least until you know what you see.

  More likely, you see a "shortcut" on your desktop that points to My Documents.  In general, which occupies only about 1 or 2 KB of space on your hard drive.

  Is the default location for My Documents in Windows XP
  C:\Documents and Settings\-My Documents

  This is the folder that should be too much space... in your case about 1 GB.

  There are separate folders "My Documents" for each user account that has been created, as well as for the built-in "Administrator" account, the "default user account" (which is used as a template for creating new accounts) and the account of "All Users" (where the folder is called just "Documents").

  Then... What are the "at least three places" where you see a "my documents"?

  When you see these files, right-click on it and select Properties.  What formats are displayed in the Properties window?

  Windows XP SP3 operating system.
  I have a Fujitsu 6130 document scanner.
  Whenever I plug it into another port USB rather than using the existing device it creates a new device named fi6130 #2, fi6130 #3, fi6130 #4 etc...
  I said it of a unique problem for XP and does not occur in Win7 but looking for a tech article or any workaround to preserve this devices called fi6130.

  First of all, you have diagnosed the problem perfectly that the scan feature does not work. Great job on this point. Kudos to you. It is always a privilege to work with customers technically very. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. We value your relationship with HP and want to better serve you.

  First of all, it looks like a hardware problem with the printer. We will isolate the problem correctly.

  Please make some copies directly from the printer without any communication to the computer.

  Place the copy face down on the flat and press the copy button. If the copy is fine, then the question might be software related.

  If there are problems with copy, then try to copy again with a set of different cartridges to further isolate the issue. They copy very well if we could solve the problems for software related issues.

  I'll send you the steps to perform a semi full reset as a private message. Please look for the messages also. Sometimes it is useful to correct the situation.

  Please try to copy from the charger bed and document scanner to further isolate the issue.

  I am running Windows 7 and my scanner is a "Kodak esp 3.2" - that is connected both wireless and USB cable on my computer HP 840 Server.

  No problems with the scanner - Photoshop CC cannot scan from it perfectly without problem with WIA support.

  Uninstalled my old Acrobat X, granted scanning not working on that anyway, so thought a complete uninstall and update to Acrobat Pro DC could resolve the issue.

  DC Pro still crashes when I try to run the scan - will not open a dialogue window.

  File-> Create-> PDF from Scanner-> < nothing here > will cause program crash.

  Folder.getFiles will return a list of all the files in this folder as a table
