• Problems when viewing files in the 'My Documents' window

  When I look at the files and folders in the My Documents window (in mode ' list') there is a wide space between the columns of information - I can barely hold two columns of names of files on my computer screen even if I do the window the maximum width.  It is a new problem - I used to be able to view the columns 3 or 4 names of files before.  My OS is Windows XP. Can you tell me how to reduce the space between the columns of information?  Thank you.

  I've been guilty of reading what I thought I only saw what I saw in fact.

  The only thing I know to which increases the width of the columns in the list view is the size of the names appearing in this column, they are files or folders. Check the lengths of file/folder name by renaming them, there might be some characters non-display, resizing of the window in the vertical direction might help identify the sections where the long name exists (if indeed that is the problem).

  Is it possible for us to javascript (or other) to control the size of the document window (33.3%, 66.6%, etc.) or in position on the screen?

  Window Style antonyms:

  MDI applications display a default parent, called the application window window. All other application windows are document windows or dialog windows.

  Document windows remain as part of the application window. If the user resizes the application window so that it is smaller than a document window, the document window is cropped. An operator can enlarge a document window occupies the whole workspace of the application window.

  Dialog windows are floating, and the operator can move outside the window of the application if they have been defined as mobile. They cannot be minimized, maximized, or resized by the operator.

  Valid only for a secondary window. (A root window is a document window.)

  I have a new monitor - a Benq BL2711.

  I have set up as my secondary monitor on display in Windows 8.

  I can put Photoshop (CS6) on this screen and maximize the it, but there is a vast space not used in the document window, which is not used. I want to show a lot more of my images that I can currently, but the document window will not only fill all that screen real estate. A large part of it is lost.

  The panels occupy the right space to the bottom of the screen, but the window of the document (or the display area?) uses only 60% of the height of the screen.

  What is a limitation or do I have to configure something? (I have reset the workspace of photography).

  It is really a shot in the water, but it's the space used by the "timeline" Panel when it is open. Try to check in the menu window and close the bottle.

  Other that that, there are always some good old Reset preferences. Make sure you save the custom actions/brushes/presets and so forth first!

I gave tried Essentials rearmament and default setting Interface. A message letting me know that by default has been reset but I still have the problem. It's SO frustrating as a large part of the time I can't go to the window, I want to work on. Help, please!

  Try resetting preferences

  Press and hold the CTRL, ALT, shift (Windows) / command Shift (MAC) Option in starting up of Photoshop.

• How to center the selected text in the document window?

  I use Word.select (SelectionOptions.REPLACE_WITH) to browse a list of words in a document. It would be convenient that all selections off the screen may scroll automatically in the document window, as for find/replace. Is it this script somehow?

  Document window continues to Flash workflow interruption. Thought it was a bug in CC 2014 but I went back to ID CC and he did it again. It drives me crazy. The border of the window flashes and causes a hesitation in everything you try to do. I can't work this way. Ready to throw the computer!

  I just installed InDesign CC the other day. But at that point, I noticed that does not display the document window. So when I run the program, I can see my desktop (see the screenshot below). And I don't see InDesign panels and toolbars. The same problem occurs with Illustrator CC, but NOT in Photoshop. This is a new feature for InDesign/Illustrator?

  To view the document window, you must open a document or create a new document.

  On mac, you can also activate the frame of the Application that will cover the frame, window > Application frame.

  Forgive me if this is a redundant question, but in CS5 (7.0.4 and earlier versions), there was a small window of useful magnification in the lower left of the document window. Is there a way to do this turn on? I have used it since at least CS3 and I seem to be lost without it.

  For some reason, I can't see all document windows... I opened something and all the panels change as expected (layers in the document, for example) and the document is available in the menu of the window... but there is no visible documents to work with... I try verious rearrangements of windows where they hide on the wide screen or something... but yet, nothing changes.

  I'm working on an iMac, and when I opened Fireworks CS5, the document window extends to almost the full screen.  The panels like the Properties Panel also expand to fit the width of the screen.

  I want to make these little ones.  But it does not re-sizing handles on one of these and there must be a way to do this, but I can't find anything that gives me instructions on how to do!

  Try changing your workspace type with the selector of the workspace. Also check if you have enabled the functionality of Framework Application (window > Application frame)

• Size of document window

  On a daily basis, I have opened up to 50 .eps different documents in Illustrator CS4, I then have to go through each document window and resize them and change the display in the window.  (usually 25%)  I'm doing this because we create about 14 different types of products that create customers through our Web site.  The files we receive from their orders are full of images and vector data .eps files.  Almost all orders has some minor positions we have to switch out for vector data.  It's easier for change us to resize the document window, the display to "Adapt to the window" (Ctrl + 0).  This does not seem a lot of work, but when you do it 50 times per day can become very high.

  Currently I get the bottom right of the document window and drag it to the upper left corner until the window is about 2 "-3" in size (on screen). "  I then Ctrl + 0 to make elements of the docutment resize according to the window; which is usually about 25%.  After doing this about 50 times that I then organize document per product function stacking windows.

  QUESTION:

  Is there a way to make Illustrator automatically this?  Tabs do not work, because I need to see all the files at once.

  The Application bar and Npages functionality are available in CS4 or CS5.

  Problems resizing the document window main with the script fragment below. Used to work perfectly in CS3. In CS4, if the document window is maximized and then run the script, it works: it makes the smaller window. If the doc window is smaller than the maximum size and the script is executed, it maximizes the doc window: it is not the size specified in the script. In other words, every second time the script is run it works; other times, it maximizes the doc window. Have tried to use smaller values for the size of the victory, but no matter what values are.

  Any idea what goes wrong? It's a little annoying problem for me...

  I have no clue why InDesign, change the size of windows on the second consecutive time on the script.
