• Pavilion 550-110: help adding Blu - Ray desktop player

  I would like to replace the existing DVD drive (tray ultra slim SuperMulti DVD burner) on a Pavilion 550-110 desktop PC with a Blu - ray player.

  The existing unit is mounted vertically in the case. I replaced the DVD drive with a Blu - ray on a HP PC 500-281 player, where it has been mounted horizontally.

  If this same blu - ray player could be reused on the new 550-110?

  For long time now Ive been burning cd and just recently my WMP started getting a message saying I needed to connect a burner, and then restart the player. It goes the same for extraction, he said "A CD DRIVE IS NEEDED in order to RUN RIP". I don't know why he started to do this, he has never been a problem before.   Step 1: Please make all underneath the same if you've done it before as it's often the total of the process which
  solves the problem. Start at the top and use it as a checklist to the drive works and not jump around like a menu.

  Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
  Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
  This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.
  
  Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
  slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

  To all those who can help you:

  I just got a new 550-110, windows 10 and I go through the initial Setup on Windows 10.

  So far, I can't find or access one of the titles of software included with the computer, such as cyberlink or Bang & Olufsen Play.

  The package contained little documentation, only a start guide and warranty brochure. No other established place of discs or other items, only the keyboard, mouse, and power cord.

  How can I start accessing these programs, in particular the Bang & Olufsen Play? I chose this model for the best acoustics, not the old sound DTS who never worked at the time where to play music.

  In Win7 ol ' well, you will get a list of all programs on the start menu, but the boys at microsoft know what we want, whether we like it or not. I know where to look in Win 7, but not the slightest idea in Win10, I tried a search of the whole and even computer watched the program folder files, but found nothing other than Amazon and Trip advisor (already in the taskbar).

  You must click on start in the lower left corner of the taskbar.  You'll see tiles on the right side of the screen and a list of all applications on the left side.  You can scroll the applications until you find what you want.  In addition, to find B & O, you can click on the carrot next to HP Support Assistant (blue and white) in the task bar.  You should see B & O listed and simply click on it.  The control panel will open.  As a musician, I want the best sound I can get, so I tried all settings.

  Hello. My computer is a HP Pavilion Desktop 550 - A17C with AMD Radeon R5 (integrated) graphics card. Can he take charge of two monitors?   Normally, this error message means that the hard drive has failed.  I suggest you to contact the vendor for assistance.  They need to fix or have fixed for you.

  You will not be able to upgrade the video card without upgrading the power supply (PSU).  She should be at least 500W.  You must measure the space where the PSU is installed and check to see if you can find one that fits.
