Detectability Bluetooth problem

Hi all.. I tried to connect my phone, but my computer does not see it.  (I use this laptop wireless so bluetooth is turned on and the service is running)  When I try to make the phone discoverable, I get the following error: an error occurred while windows saves your settings.  The bluetooth device may be disconnected.  The following parameters were not saved: settings Discoverabilty settings of connections.

I read about past in Device Manager, but can not find bluetooth devices it. Help!

Let us try the following steps.

Method

Step 1: Remove and reinstall the device.

    1. Click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and sound, and then click Bluetooth devices.
    2. Select the device that is not working, and then click Remove.
    3. Click Add, press the reset button on the unit (or make it discoverable following the manufacturer's instructions), check the box my device is set up and ready to be found and then click Next.
    4. If the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it, and then click Next.
    5. Follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.

Step 2

  1. Make sure that the device is on and that the batteries should be replaced.
  2. Make sure that the Bluetooth adapter for your computer is attached and turned on, and that the device is in use and detectable. If you don't know how to turn on discoverability, read the instructions provided with the device or check the manufacturer's Web site.

Step 3

Make sure that you have installed the device using the appropriate program. If this isn't the case, reinstall the device.

For a mobile phone, if you have installed the Bluetooth wireless technology on your computer, use the Bluetooth device Wizard. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and sound, and then click Bluetooth devices.
    2. Click on Add.

Step 4

The unit may be out of range of your computer, or too close. Try to move closer or a little further away from your computer.

    10. I tried to uninstall the bluetooth driver on the Device Manager and to uninstall Atheros Bluetooth + WLAN on programs, rebooted and then install Atheros. Still, it cannot detect bluetooth devices.

    11. system restore I've tried, on the normal mode and mode without failure, but system restore always display an error on not access the file because of the antivus... but I've already uninstalled my antivirus and disabled windows defender and firewall.

    Help, please.

    Now, I solved the problem. The problem is actually the old version of bluetooth suite could not be uninstalled when you uninstall in the devices or uninstall atheros bluetooth Manager suite + wlan in windows uninstall program.     And then install the following bluetooth 8.0.1.316 I got to asustek site.

    Same problem, I got Windows 8 '64-bit' o/s,.
    solution is to use the Bluetooth driver ("R235168")

    Steps to follow:

    ----------
    (1) go to the URL http://dell.to/S3vwvD the 'R235168' download) Bluetooth Driver and remove it.

    (2) open the folder after that extraction is complete.

    3) navigate to the folder until the folder as \r235168\r235168, for me the path is C:\dell\drivers\R235168\R235168.

    (4) open the folder (Win 32 or Win 64) depending on your configuration of file system of windows, for me, Win 64.

    (5) open the file 'Inst.exe', a full install with the wizard.

    Results:

    The driver is correctly installed and running (I used and works perfectly)

    I have problem to connect all bluetooth devices to my HP 23d117a all in one PC. Definitely something wrong with the drivers / adapters, but I'm not able to do.  The model detects the device and show them connected but when I go to check for any device, it doesn't do anything.

    on known problems. Updated BIOS, drivers of low level chipset and on-board major
    and separate drivers for devices (those that can affect Bluetooth devices). Also check the BT

    A more could interfere with others. After the above, decrease all BT devices
    out of the box. Bring one at a time to see if everything connect correctly. If so try them in
    different combinations to keep different ones out of reach.

    If you already have a warning on the internal HARD disk before Windows starts I would recommend sharing it and backup all data as quickly as possible.

    Is your laptop still under warranty?
    If Yes, you can get a new HDD to an authorized service provider. It would be free because it s covered by the warranty. All you have to do is contact with an ASP.

    I don t use iTunes so I m not an expert player but first of all, you must give us some important information:
    -What operating system do you use?
    -Are you using the factory settings (Toshiba Recovery disk) or your own version of Windows
    -Do you have the yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager?

    OK, iTunes says that there is an audio configuration problem so do you trying to update the audio driver? If this isn't the case, you should try it.
