Determine the Version of "Update" to vCenter

Hi all

In the vSphere Client, when I choose 'Help' - 'about VMWare vSphere"I can see a version like VMware vCenter Server Version 4.1.0 Build 258902.

I just want to know what day version ; in regards the things readable as update 1 or 2 update and so on. Not a build as 16458932279 number. I'm not shure if there is 1 update is installed or not on my server. If Yes: would be written "Day 1," the subject of window or is it still just a build number? How will I know in this case what version of update, I installed on the basis of only a build number?

thx for your help and best regards

will not get you "Update" information, only build of informaiton.  This guide may be useful

    Hello

Many TV can make upscan which means that they accept the entry at lower resolution and then fill the entire screen. I don't know your TV/monitor, but normally it can do the work in this way.

Update: all modern televisions must have a lot of options for entry reports, you can watch old movies (ratio 4:3) on the use of 16:9 zoom function.

    Kind regards.

  • How can I determine the version UEFI implemented by the firmware of a PC?

I found several ways to determine the version of the firmware/BIOS on a PC – for example mine is FRIEND v8.15 (05/02/2013).

But is there anyway to determine which version of the UEFI is implemented by this firmware?

I tried to find a description of the FRIEND v8.15 which maybe provided this information, but has not been successful.

    Hello

Windows 7 doesn't support secure boot.  A lot of settings in the BIOS to do still get Windows 7 to boot UEFI mode as well as the support of compatibility (CSM) model in the BIOS offers the correct BIOS options.

Frankly, I wouldn't buy a W7 PC delivered these days here as W10 is a great OS. If you have an application that proved not to be compatible with W10 then run it in compatibility mode.

I've not seen many cases where different levels of BIOS are available for W7 or W8 and W10.  However, you might find instances where the BIOS runs only in UEFI mode.

If you go to metalink and check the patch bundle, there is a build number associated with them, usually also contained in the xellerate/config/Version.props file. • How do I programmatically determine the version OMIVV

How can I programmatically retrieve the version of OMIVV (OpenManage for VMware vCenter integration)?

That's how I do it manually

3 version is displayed under the DEVICE UPDATE

There is no url in the hyperlink for the management of the unit. This is a javascript action.

There is not a way to side plugin to collect the version. You may be able to use other methods of Vcenter for version. PowerCLI should be able to get a list or the specific version of the plugin with the Get-vCenterPlugin command

  • Determine the version of Windows product key on the back "bricks" Lenovo laptop

I bought a used Lenovo 6459CTO laptop. The sticker on the back windows is partially readable and windows was preinstalled, when the laptop was purchased. The system has failed and attempts to reinstall an image by the previous owner allowed to corrupt the Lenovo recovery Partition, so I can't boot up the laptop. I don't have the recovery disks. How can I determine what version of windows is on the laptop using the product key? The version of windows on the label is unreadable.

You must contact the Lenovo Support and ask for help.  Please see: How to replace Microsoft software

  • Compile the version not updated in .jad

When I manually update the version number on the properties of the project and then compile it, I must then manually regenerate the .alx files and manually change the .jad file because the version in the .jad file has not been updated by the compiler.

It's crazy, it should be updated by the JDE without intervention.  What are others doing?  I have to love manually generate this thing myself?

Is more NetBeans or Eclipse like MS VS?  Maybe I need to look really try to install one of those with the JDE being so primitive.

    Hi Berrysoft,

You can consider the passage using NetBeans or Eclipse. Both offer a pretty familiar if you are familiar with MS VS.

Personally, we use a build configuration that consists of Eclipse + bb-ant-tools and have found this to be a very productive Setup. In addition, Jonathan Fisher has put together a good guide on how you can get a setup of the environment productive build using NetBeans. If you use bb-ant-tools you can write then also some additional Ant targets that will copy a file pre-written .alx files on in the output when the build directory. If you want to get fancy, you can even enjoy filtering Ant to automatically fill in details such as the name of the app, version number etc. If you have a generic build script that can be moved quickly to a project without additional configuration.

Or, perhaps, you can even try using the plugin 'Eclipse'. At this point, I personally recommend steering clear of it until some features more are put in, but it's worth a shot.

    See you soon,.
    Neil.

  • Determine the version of the OS product key

    It is:

Can the version [XP, Vista, WIN7, WIN8} of the OS, not the type (as in 32-bit or 64-bit), determined by the product key and if so, where to enter this product key?]

    I arbitrarily chose WIN7 version.

No, you will need to have the specific edition and version installation files to install and activate using the product key.

If Windows 7 is already installed and you are sure it's the right edition:

Click Start, right click on computer

    Click on properties

Scroll to the bottom of the window

    Click on change product key

    Enter the new product key.

Click Start, right click on computer

    Click on properties

    Scroll down to Windows activation.

You will notice it displays a time until Activation but completed. The product ID also indicates that he uses a default key, it is only for the 30-day grace period allowed until you have to activate Windows 7.

Click the change product key link

Enter the product key located on the COA sticker that is located downstairs or (sometimes in the battery of your laptop), you can also find it at the top or the side if it's a desktop computer.  It looks something like the following:

Proceed to enter the product key and click Next

Wait while Windows is trying to activate.

If all goes well, less than a minute, you should see this screen.

  • Determine the version of Orchestrator from code?

Thanks to some environments inherited, that we support, we have several versions of Orchestrator running in our environment. We run a common code base for all versions, so our workflows are the same on all instances of Orchestrator, but sometimes we need to run slightly different code on different versions of Orchestrator.

The question is, is there a way I can tell from Orchestrator which version is running? Right now we run a local "hostname" command to get the name of the server Orchestrator and our decisions around that, but I wanted to know if there was a more graceful way / Dynamics to determine which versions. Is there something in the API or any object script that I can use for this information?

  • Determine the Version of InDesign (for equivalent javascript applescript)

I have next to no knowledge of javascript, or where to go for help? I have an Applescript easy I want to convert it to javascript.

For starters, anyone knows the equivalent following javascript code for this line of code:

the version of the application 'com.adobe.InDesign' myVersion id value as string

The other part of the script, I might be able to understand mine. Unless at some point given I have to find a PC user to provide the path to the folder 'en_US' of the InDesign preferences folder.

With the help of a File.openDialog (); would get around not knowing the path hard-coded, but defeats the purpose and effectiveness of the script. I want the end user to be able to assign a shortcut to this script, which would open so all their files in InDesign library with a simple keyboard command.

-Determine what version of InDesign, running as a string

    Tell application id "com.adobe.InDesign".

    activate

the version of the application 'com.adobe.InDesign' myVersion id value as string

    -Display dialog myVersion

If myVersion begins with '6' then

Otherwise, if myVersion begins with "7.0" then

    myVersion set to "Version 7.0".

    myVersion set to "Version 7.5.

Otherwise, if myVersion begins with '8.' then

    myVersion set to "Version 8.0".

    Hi Jeff,

for ExtendScript (JavaScript), you can search for properties, values and functions etc.pp. here:

Excellent documentation of DOM of Jongware. Go for chm files, if you want to search in offline mode:

    InDesign JavaScript help

And by Gregor Fellenz DOM documentation:

    InDesign ExtendScript API (8.0)

    InDesign ExtendScript API (10.0)

    InDesign ExtendScript API (11.0)

If you search for 'application', you'll notice, this is a 'version' "app" object property

    var myVersion = "version"+" "+parseFloat(app.version);
    alert(myVersion);

No ifs and ifs remains necessary.
