  I m new to BB using JAVA development. I've been through a lot of posts here and the idea that I get, is that the development of applications using 4.2 running on OS 4.2 is the best way to ensure that it works on most phones.

  What are the benefits of developing applications using 4.3 running on OS 4.3 4.2 more? I know he has the disadvatage of not being able to work on most phones that come out today, but I would like to know more precisely the benefits of development using 4.3 to run on the 4.3 OS 4.2 and lower versions.   If your device all of which your application must support is leaving v4.3 and then you can go for v4.3 as eclipse pugin is here for that and you are familiar with eclipse, so that it is easy for you. But if you need support devices of lower version to v4.3 then you must use the version (below) you need to support the devices.

  The only time where I tried it, I received an error of compatilbility so I would say not in my experience.

  My suggestion is to build with backward compatibility in mind and remember that what you build for 4.2 will work in 5.0 and so on.

  Currently, developing an application and tests normally this application using Simulator by right-clicking the application and select Debug as blackberry Simulator, now I want to test the app using device, I plugged the unit using the USB port to my windows pc and when I click with the right button on the application and select Debug as blackberry device it does not work?   I develop for a Blackberry Storm using the plugin Eclipse JDE 4.7. I have change the version number on my application and reconstruction & regenerate ALX. I go to BlackBerry Desktop Manager to upgrade the application, and the phone has to reset. It's very frustrating because it takes almost a minute for it to end.

  The application is a CLDC application, not a module of the system, and does not auto-run at startup, why my device needs to reset?

  It frustrates me to no end, because whenever I make a change to the app and I want to test on the device again, it takes too much time.

  I also noticed that this reset is not always necessary, sometimes just upgraded... but I did not understand why.

  As well as the suggestion of RexDoug on termination of your application (which is very good advice), you also think that if you do not change the signature of all the persistent classes, the application will upgrade easier.

  Unless the site you develop is for the Asian market, I don't know why you want to use that particular font. The Basic, standard and digital alphabet punctuation glyphs has sans serif, Roman characters, but the rest is thousands of Kanji characters. While you can use the font .ttf and .otf and web fonts, it would be very unusual to use one so great. Pages should load quickly and 78 MB, with a value of faces to download for those who have connections slow Internet is not fast.

  I would take a different font without serifs. There are literally thousands who look identical or virtually identical to Yuanti.

  No other changes have been made to my PC, two except version 12 of loading. Go back to version 11 and I have no problem.
