  My Patient hierarchy looks like in this

  All Patients-> gender-> ID Patient

  All Patients-> age-> ID Patient group

  When I drag and drop the second hierarchy in Oracle BI answers said criteria the following "...". "you can add as a hierarchy by dimension to a report. I guess what I'm trying to do is not possible!  :-)

  Q1: Is this feature indeed not taken in charge or I do something wrong?

  Q2: If it is can not supported someone explain why?

  (a) reports different levels of 2 hierarchies is not supported. As explained below, you cannot use OLAP to get the values of aggregation across levels of hierarchies: H1 and H2.

  However, if you wish, you can report it to the lowest level, Patient, common to these two hierarchies and show the age group as well as the attributes of sex corresponding to each patient. This becomes reports Patient / the lowest level. You can of course use the features of the reporting as obiee tool to use a Pivot object (for example) and exclude the Patient as Id columns, name, etc. and get obiee to perform syntheses located in the reporting layer and get recaps of interests. OBIEE Pivot measures allowing aggregation using the Min, Max, Sum, Count, etc running sum. OLAP facilitates this solution, but does not particularly help in aggregation (given that the aggregation is now made in obiee and not according to the rules of definition of aw olap cube). It acts as a source of information at the lowest level stored in the cube. Would result in a degradation of performance, but it can be acceptable/managed according to volumes/data report.

  NOTE: For/Pour / solution solution workaround, use the common areas, nonhierarchical columns, of the OBIEE presentation layer.

  (b) not supported: OLAP Cubes contain summaries pre-calculees (or calculated dynamically) at different levels of each hierarchy. This contributes to faster performance reports. 2 hierarchies to the succession of defeats same time allowing objective feature. A cross-combination of levels across different hierarchies requires a dynamic recalculation of the detail records to get the right values for, say, age group: 30-39 and sex: male. Summaries of H1 at the level of the age for the age group: 30-39 cover all genres and can decompose in male/female w/o of recalculation. Similarly H2 summarized level sex sex: male covers all age groups. This fragmentation is not possible except through workaround / solution explained in (a).

  I have a physical table to join with a fact table: there are 3 different hierarchies, which share the last 2 levels inside the dimension table. It's the logic diagram of hierarchies:

  All columns are in the same table physical source. I tried to create 3 table logic source from the same physical table, everyone with all the columns and create a hierarchy for each dimension table, but it gives me nQSError: 15011.
  
  Any suggestion? Maybe the physical table alias can help for the creation of tables of different sizes?

  It is a basic rule that you cannot create multiple hierarchies in a single dimension table, so what you do is create three tables of alias and slip into MDB layer in 3 different sizes and on top these tables create 3 different dimension hierarchies.

  Hi Experts,

  I have a requirement to validate the 3 different members in 3 different hierarchies at once. For example take 3 members are Cash, 1000_BC, 2000_CC and 3 hierarchies as Business Center, cost center account. If the Member of cash is existed in the hierarchy of accounts 1000_CC must be then existing in Business Center hierarchy and 2000_CC member must be existed in the cost center hierarchy. Is it possible to validate all hierarchies at the time? Here is the validation that I wrote. Please correct me if wrong.

  So that means this audit is triggered when the creation of node _AA and will only create the node _AA if _BC and _CC exist.

  If _BC or _CC does not exist then node _AA creation will fail that triggers the validation.

• Development of multiple reports_path

  I am trying to configure several variables reports_path for multiple environments in order to load the different rdf files for different users, each user has his own environment and it works very well with the forms.
  
  I tried to set a different REPORTS_PATH in each environment file form, but it is ignored.
  It seems that the only way to set this variable (apart from regedit which is impossible in this case) is in my rep_$ servername.conf, but there obviously sets a path for all my users.
  
  Any ideas? The overall goal is to be able to separate forms and reports for each user, using the same instance.

  is it just a common practice to have single parents for hierarchies that are built on the same size of Essbase, or it is a restriction of system-level?
  Only in Hyperion Planning, or this is true also on Essbase level?

  I'm not sure I follow your question completely, but for running sums of shared member, the lowest level of the rollup shared can be one zero level or upper limb or from another dimension. The condition is that a shared member can not have descendants in the shared rollup, it would be the level low.
  For example if I have the cumulative following primer

  NJ
  NY
  PA
  West
  It
  OR
  WA

  I have a cumulative alternamte as

  Total of Bob
  NY (shared)
  West (shared)

  You see thar NY is a level zero member and the West is a member of level 1, but under the cumulative replacement are both level zero members

  Native usually means waterfalls.

  You can use webworks if you plan to develop for multiple platforms and prefer html5, otherwise native/cascades offers better system integration and speed.

  There is also a course online which covers the basics and some advanced topics and should occupy you for a while.

  as a beginner, I suggest to make the UI in QML and use c ++ only as much as necessary until you feel more comfortable with it

  A geek, essbase expert said Stored hierarchies can be either + or ~. We found that no it's true in a hierarchy stored under Mulitple dim hierarchies.

  first a ^ is not a tilde. Second, a dimension enabled multiple hierarchies is not a stored dimension, but has stored in hierarchies. With that all said, I had problems with trying to use anything but a + on a stored hierarchy so I think that the documentation may be incorrect

• The easier way to move the hierarchies of the same Version?

  I have developed two new hierarchies of DRM, but kept isolated to their own Versions for testing purposes.

  I need now to move them to the Production, but to move them to the same Version as all my other hierarchies.  Is there an easy way to do this?

  I guess I'll migrate both Versions in Production, then move each hierarchy to the CurrentWorkingVersion.  I just need to know how to move between different Versions?

• Is there anyway to list user presets to develop popup for LR 6?

  In Lightroom 4 develop, I could select multiple images in the film from bottom, then right click and work in the menus to apply a pre-selection of many images at once. Lightroom 6 CC does not list the presets any longer.  Is there a switch to turn on this behavior?  I brag about this feature to a friend and he started a trial and the feature is now gone.  If there is no going back in this feature, is there another way to apply presets to multiple images? (These screenshots are saved with the resolution, PS LOW setting and they are still good!)

  In the develop module, Multiple select the images in the Filmstrip-

  Click the Auto Sync ignition switch.

  Everything that you develop is applied to ALL the images, Presets, the tool settings, etc. !

  

  Instead of the "pop-up" just use presets in the left side panel Presets as with any development edition.

  I posted this yesterday (description about sorry, somewhat different). I am creating a hierarchy of alternative containing shared by using a load rule members and the flat file into a hierarchy of global storage. One response has been to remove the option 'allow the movement' and use parent child construction in the State of charge. I tried and it doesn't work. I showed me a section of the essbase guide (which is about as clear as mud) and still cannot get this to work. First of all – can you do this with a contour of ASO? If so, how? I tried a simple flat file 6 line and recreated the rule of load based on the above recommendations and it will not be shared members. There, can anyone help?

  SLM_HIER: All clients-> seller-> client
  GEO_HIER: All clients-> status-> City-> client
  
  I also have a SALES_CUBE (measures: aggregation of QUANTITY, VALUE,: SUM) which is sized with Sun customer.
  
  I use OBIEE to query the OLAP engine (through the relational views that AWM created automatically). I followed the OTN OBE tutorials.
  
  I have the following query on the cube:
  
  Give me the AMOUNT where VENDOR = S1 and the CITY ("Athens", "Rome").
  
  Is it possible to have such a request? As far as I understand there is no aggregated data ready for some levels of two hierarchies.

  I think that OBIEE would also give you your answer of OLAP.

  This query has two hierarchies defined filters and (therefore OBIEE would need) automatically fix this request of the highest common level b/w hierarchies (in this case: base/leaf level - customer). Accordingly, if the CUSTOMER is your Customer dimension, OBIEE (at least, the old style of obiee modeling with olap) would introduce the security CUST_LEVEL = "Customer" filter Granularity of the result set returned would be for each customer. 1 card for each client meets the criteria of the VENDOR = "S1" and the CITY ("Athens", "Rome").

  Ideally, you should include the Cust Id columns quantity in your report of obiee answers and use a view/object of internal responses as a Pivot point of view to hide the column customer Details and get a localized aggregation staggered in the result set returned by OLAP to get the consolidated amount. Table of responses given at the customer level, answers Pivot can show the required result.

  Note1: The Cube cannot have this pre calculated result since it is a contradictory combination of filters in all hierarchies. Values of specific calculated level (or pre calculated) aggregation in the cube for level seller (h1) contain customers in all cities (h2) and same city level (h2) aggregates contain clients from all sellers (h1).

  Note 2: I believe OBIEE with OLAP modeling suffers from certain issues related to multiple hierarchies (for example: If you have the filter hierarchy by default only CITY ("Athens", "Rome"), I think it would always go for the lowest common level customer instead of the City level directly results).

  I am developing a small application with usings Essbase-Essbase Studio 11, I create data sources, create the minischema and metadata with a hierarchy of measurement and 2 hierarchy model, one for the TIME (YEAR-> TRIM-> MONTHS) and another for REPORT (REGION-> CIUDAD->->-> RAZÓN SOCIAL DIVISION COMUNA).
  
  Now the problem is when I want to deploy the cube on the Regional service Console, only my TIME hierarchy has complete data, my hierarchy of REPORT blank stares, and I don't know why, because I change the properties in Essbase model for loading data as a XOLAP model, and my REPORT hierarchy was qualify multiple hierarchies.
  
  My Application in the Regional service Console has an Agregate storage medium.
