Microsoft Teredo Tunneling adapter - error code 10
Former title: Microsoft Teredo Tunneling adapter
I got an error code 10 regarding the Microsoft Teredo Tunneling card which read, "device cannot start". I read in one of the forums that uninstall you and then restart your computer, Windows would automatically reinstall it correctly. I did, but in Device Manager registration with network cards, it is more listed. I wonder if it is still completely removed from my computer I really must installed there? Everything seems to work fine with my computer. I have Windows 7 Home Premium.
Hello Arthur,.
Thanks for posting your question on the forum of the Microsoft community.
"Teredo" is a tunneling protocol designed to grant IPv6 connectivity to nodes that are located behind IPv6 NAT (network address translation) not compatible devices. It defines a way of encapsulating IPv6 packets in IPv4 UDP (User Datagram Protocol) datagrams can be routed through NAT devices, on the IPv4 internet.
I suggest you try using the steps described in Microsoft Knowledge base article.

Hi Harshhh36,
Usually, after the computer restarts, the drivers install automatically and it will stop the errors.
You can also refer to the computer or the network card manufacturer's Web site to download and install the latest version of the drivers for the network card.
You can also check in the updates of windows updates available for the network adapter driver.

Microsoft Teredo Tunneling adapter, can not start correctly
When I run my health system monthly report the resource and performance monitor told me that;
A device has a configuration problem that prevents it from starting correctly. Details: The device, Microsoft Teredo Tunneling adapter, cannot start properly. It was perhaps not the right driver installed or may be experiencing a hardware failure. The Plug and Play ID for the device is 9.
******************************************
In Device Manager the driver shows up to date, but said the properties;
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Since the report the resource and performance monitor says it's a plug-and-play I uninstalled it but there is nothing when you restart and I had to find and reinstall. Of course everything that fact was put me where I started.

I have a HP Pavilion P6 desktop computer running Windows7 and in devices and printers , I noticed that my computer has a yellow triangle that relates to Microsoft Teredo Tunneling adapter. To address this issue, I note that this device is not displayed in the window of adding hardware under common hardware Types, but I listed it in the Device Manager.
I tried several attempts to reinstal, but not joy. Can anyone suggest how I can restore this device?
In the Properties window, it shows a Code 10. This device cannot start.
