Device connection issues

Then I installed edge inspect for my computer and connected successfully. I then installed the Chrome Extension. Finally, I installed the iPhone app. I am connected to my organization via the WiFi network and inspect the phone that displays in the list. In Chrome, inspect the watch as host name / ip address: MCC2W40SK1 10.1.23.171 I also installed the Bonjour service as recommended in the installation guide.

My phone is not auto discovered my computer. When I click on the icon to inspect my iPhone + and enter MCC2W40SK1, does not connect. If I go 10.1.23.171, does not connect. If I go MCC2W40SK1 10.1.23.171, does not connect. What gives here?

Things to check and some info:

  1. By using the host name to connect your phone to your computer will not work unless your network has it's own DNS that resolves to that host name. This is a rare situation, so I would stick just with the help of the IP address in the manual connection field.
  2. Make sure that you are not on the VPN on your computer or your phone.
  3. Disable the software firewall on your computer. Once, you get a connection, you can reactivate the firewall and start fiddling with parameters to allow to inspect the edge through, but disabling, it is simpler to start.
  4. Make sure that nothing is blocking or is already using the port 7682.
  5. Are both your computer and your iPhone on the same network? Is it possible that they are on different subnets and if so, are a communication on port 7682 open on these subnets?
  6. What version of operating system your computer is running? What version of Chrome you are running on your computer?

    I thought that I should add a little more information...

    I tried to access the device on a computer, 2 notebooks, 2 TV and an Xbox, so it seems that the hard drive is the common problem.

    I understand that you experience connectivity problems when you access Game Center accepting friend requests.  Here are some troubleshooting steps that I recommend to go through this problem.

    Get help

    If you are unable to connect to Game Center or stay connected, follow these steps:

    1. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet.
    2. If you cannot create an account or sign in to Game Center of in a game, try to create an account or sign in with the Game Center app.
    3. Sign out of Game Center, then reconnect. If you can not you connect to Game Center with an Apple ID, reset your password, or use another email address. To manage your Apple ID, see my Apple ID.
    4. If you use a connection Wi - Fi, be sure that your Wi-Fi router is configured for Game Center.

    I put t know why this happens, but it has to do with the BIOS.
    The same thing happened on my old laptop. I couldn't start my unit while the USB printer has been turned on and connected.
    The only solution is to disconnect the external USB device during the boot process.

    RSY you should check if the order of boot in the BIOS has been on the HARD drive first.

  • Device connect and disconnect sounds play when NOTHING is connected!

    I am running Windows Vista x 32 on my Dell Inspiron 1525. The problem is that the device connect sound, immediately followed by the device disconnect sound, playing intermittently even when not a single device is connected. I have already extracted 1 million solutions online, and here's what we can exclude:

    • Still, she does when no devices are connected, so it is not a loose USB device.

    That description makes it sound like the issue is a network adapter that is enabled - right click either the
    Interface NETWORK (wired) or peripheral card WiFi and turn OFF - which ever you use and see if the noise persists?
    I look in Device Manager is a good idea.

    Is it a PC or a laptop - card integrated or add-on/in? If a PC off ALL power and remove and reinstall
    all cards and cables on both ends (in fact, remove and replace - do not just tight). Not much, you can
    do this with a laptop, unless WiFi is external but for PC or laptop, you can turn off the edge
    WiFi (if she has that) and use an external device.

    I have a new iPhone 7 jet black, so far I'm in love. But yesterday, I noticed an annoying problem.     I have the same problem, it seems that many people have with Wi - Fi connectivity issues.  I just bought the Macbook Pro in December 2015.  My computer goes to sleep and when I open the hood it looks like I'm connected to wireless, but I'm really not!  I'm going to websites, and they won't open.  I disconnect my wi - fi and reconnect and sometimes it works, but sometimes I actually have to restart my computer.  For the moment, at the end of the day I'll stop my computer, then restart the morning I guess.  It sometimes seems to lose its connection during the day too, I guess because he falls asleep.  Very frustrated.  Just got this computer in December and have had this problem since I use the computer out of the box.  I was told it's because I haven't had my update of El Capitan, did, but it wasn't the problem.  Technical support suggested a few other things we also went through and those who did nothing either.  Don't know what the problem is or how to solve this problem, or even if I can if so many others have this problem.  I think it's a matter of Apple and the wish that they would be admitting the problem and try to find a solution.  Apple of love, but right now quite disappointed.  Quite expensive computer for issues that I am.  I went from a Dell for an Apple thinking it was the best thing since shirt pockets, hmmm...  I don't think it's any problem with our modem, wireless, router, etc., because we have other laptops, iPads, iPhones in this House and have NO problem.  So, I hope that everyone is not running out to buy new routers and modems because no doubt this is the problem at all.  PLEASE APPLE, DO SOMETHING TO FIX THIS!

  • My devices connect only to an airport machine

    I have two extremes of the airport, which connects to my modem and creates a network and one which runs the network. However, all of my devices are connected to the Airport Extreme that creates the network. What I am doing wrong? They are on different floors of the House and appear to be configured correctly, but the devices that sit on adjacent to the Airport Extreme, extension of the network does not connect to it. I know your supposed to have an Airport Extreme and multiple Airport Express, but we already had the old (4th gen. I think) Airport Extreme, so we decided to use it. Thank you!

    There is no difference between express and extreme to extend...

    However if you started near the main AE... you must turn off the wireless and then turn it back on... and it needs to connect to the Extender.

    Unless you have a problem in the configuration.

    Post screenshots of airport utility and we see what happens...

    Remember, if the signal is bad for the AE on the upper floor... It can transmit a signal any better than that. So if the client devices connect ok the Repeater is in the wrong place.
