• PIXMA MX340 Windows 10 device descriptor request failed Code 43

  Hello.  I recently bought a new computer to office 810 - QE HP Envy Phoenix yesterday.

  The first thing I did was to finish the free update on a clean slate ("save anything") of Windows for Windows Professional 10, 64-bit edition 8.1.

  The specifications of the system are:

  32 GB RAM DDR3
  3 TB hard drive 7 200 RPM SATA
  Integrated Realtek / Beats Audio
  Processor Intel Core i7-4790 3.6 GHz 4 hearts

  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 4 GB DDR3 video card

  My Canon Pixma MX 340 multifunction printer is not able to be recognized by this new system.  I installed the software and drivers for the printer, however, Device Manager keeps telling me that this printer is a "unknown USB device: device descriptor request failed, code 43"  I also tried to download the latest drivers directly from Canon specifically list of compatibility with Windows 10, which did not help me at all because the drivers are not able to find the printer during the installation.

  I had originally this printer connected to one of the USB ports 3.0 at the back of the system, but I have also tried using this printer with the USB 2.0 ports, as my old system had USB 2.0.  No change, it still gives the same exact error.  I also tried this printer connected directly to the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports on my computer without effect before.

  I checked to see if this printer is "compatible" with 10 windows, and according to the compatibility of Microsoft website, it says that the Pixma MX340 should compatible.

  Advice, tips or suggestions would be very appreciated.  Thank you.

  I FOUND THE PROBLEM.

  I forgot that not only I used an extension USB cable, but I was also with a long USB cable and the USB extension as well.  This long USB cable was the culprit!

  I just noticed this and decided to test it.  With the long USB cable, I get the error. But when going back to a standard length cable, the printer was correctly as a Canon MX340!

  If I switch back to the long cable, it will be impossible to find.

  However, I can still use the USB extension cable.  This cable does not cause a conflict any!

  I have a weird problem on windows 10. I have fresh installed today and installed the drivers and other software. I couldn't put no fingerprints because it says biometric device is not enabled. then I realized this error code: 43. I don't know if it s associated with fingerprints or not. also, I installed former driver of the webcam integrated mode compatible win 7. I don't know if it caused this problem either.

  Fact!

  This is the fingerprint. fingerprinting has been disconnected. After that I have re-connected windows socket recognized biometric device. then I installed driver of fingerprints of thinkpad 6.0, all worked fine. There is no unknown usb device more.

• Can't update XP SP3. Request for reboot, I restart. It will not update.

• CS6 AIR flash device emulator throws off events when the sensors are changing

  I'm developing an application in Flash CS6 targeting AIR 21.0.0.176 for Android.  I've implemented the NativeApplication.nativeApplication Event.ACTIVATE Event.DEACTIVATE listeners.  These work as expected when the Android device is running standalone or if I am debugging via the interface to CS6 USB. However if I have a deployment on the simulator of premises, whenever I use the Simulator interface to generate a change in the accelerometer or location, the application then receives a DEACTIVATE event.

  It's difficult troubleshooting because on my manager to DEACTIVATE event by stop all the interactive features in the application.

  Did you, by any chance tried with another USB cable? I would not make sense to change the things that the device works on other systems, but it would not hurt to use the cable on the other my book with the issue just for that rule out as a potential cause.

  I could also check this threadand see if the solutions it help.

  Keep your OS, BIOS, and drivers up to date, it is also an important part of the troubleshooting process. I would also check if there is a new update especially for the driver responsible for the communication between the drive and the system.

  My webcam is not recognized in the device with this error Manager.

  I looked online and it was suggested to download the drivers for the webcam from the manufacturer's website. I was unable to find them. I'm not sure of the model or brand of the webcam to find the drivers somewhere else is not possible.

  This error started since the latest version of windows update.

  Don't know where to go from here and what I have to do. It is a mobile phone fairly recent. Bought December 9. Already, I had a problem where the driver for my printer messed up computer so bad that he couldn't start and I found myself with no option but to refresh the files system... which took all my games...   First check if the webcam is enabled in the BIOS.
