Dialing a number of IOS

Is there a way to get a button to dial a phone number with Packager for IOS.  I tried 2 ways and none of them works.

Attempt 1:

button with the click event:

navigateToURL("tel:1-555-555-5555");

Attempt 2:

Tel link text box: 1-555-555-5555

Is it possible to get the phone to dial a number with flash?

Thanks for your suggestions.

In the AIR, on mobile platforms, sms: and such: URI schemes are supported. On Android, vipaccess:, connectpro: and the market: URI schemes are supported.      The syntax of the URL is subject to the conventions of the platform. For example, on Android, the URI scheme must be lowercase.      When you navigate to a URL by using one of these plans, the runtime opens the URL in the default application for managing the schema. For example, navigate to tel:+5555555555 opens the phone dialer with the specified number is already entered. A separate application or utility, such as a phone dialer must be available to process the URL.

Try

navigateToURL("tel:+5555555555");

  • Citing the phone to dial a number

    I'm trying to dial a phone number of my app running on my BB Z10. I was able to launch the phone application and bring it to focus, but it does not dial the number. I have tried the following to dial in number 9999:

    navigator_invoke_invocation_create (& iRequest);

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_id (iRequest, '1');

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_action (iRequest, 'bb.action.DIAL');

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_type (iRequest, 'application/vnd.blackberry.phone.startcall');

    "{" string data = '{\"number\': \"9999\ '} ';

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_data (iRequest, data.c_str (), data.length ());

    navigator_invoke_invocation_send (iRequest);

    navigator_invoke_invocation_destroy (iRequest);

    I also tried sending as URI instead of the data :

    navigator_invoke_invocation_create (& iRequest);

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_id (iRequest, '1');

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_action (iRequest, 'bb.action.DIAL');

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_type (iRequest, 'application/vnd.blackberry.phone.startcall');

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_uri (iRequest, ' data : //local?number=9999 ");

    navigator_invoke_invocation_send (iRequest);

    navigator_invoke_invocation_destroy (iRequest);

    In both cases, the phone will appear but do not dial.

    You could do that.

    Phone phone;
    phone.initiateCellularCall(number);

  • Phone dials a number at random during an ongoing call

    My phone and my wife's phone has been randomly component another number during an active call. This causes the current call to give up without warning.

    I thought it was my accidental mistake until it happened to him, then it is true again and again on my phone.

    You should try an app like Tools of Droid of Tedd. It locks the screen while you are on a call, which will prevent the face dials. It locks the screen and prevents any entry through the screen while you are on a call. I'm not saying it's happening for sure, but it could be. This could be a good test for it. If the problem goes away when you use tools of Tedd Droid that I would say that what's happening is you're face composition.

    There's another app on the market that will do the same thing, but I don't remember the name of any other. I hope this helps.

    As you can see he composed, if found the dialing rule, but nothing happens on the SPA, it will not simply compose anything on.

    I guess that something is wrong in RTC spa or configuration of trunk, but I don't know what. I tried like 5-6 guides of strach and none worked for me. Any suggestions?

    Kind regards

    HUH! I won't curse now, but I shoul!

    Given that I'm NOT using any VOIP provider and I JUST wanted to use RTC it makes SENSE I don't connect anything to the WAN port, BUT when I configured the WAN port with my LAN IP (172.16.1.200) and put a few other IP on the LAN port, everything started working.

    It's rly rly rly is NOT logical, but I got it working now.

  • Can not dial any number, because when I press the call button, it returns the error message

    Dear friends, I am struggling to dial any phone number. When I press on the symbol of the dial, it immediately returns the error message 'arrested contacts' - ' o is parou - in Portuguese.
    I already tried to clean the cache and the data of all the apps, tried the hard reset and still the same error. What could possibly be wrong? The errors began after I composed a total of 16 numbers huge telefone number (XX XX xxx xxx xxx xxx). Could it be related to that?
    Thank you all!

    Hello

    Dialing a long number should not affect the Dialer in this way. I suggest you factory reset on your phone via the settings > Backup & reset > reset data. Before you do a factory reset, you might want to backup your data.

  • Cannot dial another number (communication URA) after dialing a fax number.

    Hello.

    I have a HP 4500 (G510a-f alias). I need to send a fax, but before you send it, I'm supposed to call the second number to authenticate.

    When I try to do the display says he is busy. I tried to type in the number on a phone and then tried to fax feature.

    I'm completely crazy with the machine.

    You kindly advise?

    Thank you! »

    Hello

    Try to use the # key to add a break before continuing the numbering.

    For example, composition 9 #123456 will add a break after 9 to get the tone... typing # will add a pause of double length, etc.

    But the more you try dial manually by launching the dial itself first of all...

    Using the arrow keys select fax B & W, then click on the Start button.

    Confirm that the apges was analyzed according to the instructions on the screen.

    Now you should hear the fax get a dial tone, type in the number to authenticate... Once you hear the tone click target fax number...

    If any of these fail, I would say that the configuration of the name extension of fax to get an output line immediately if authentication, ay be too complex for an analog fax.

  • Phone call and dial a number without confirmation to the user

    Hi Forum,

    I am trying to initiate a phone call from a Webworks HTML5 app. I don't want to use something like ... because it shows a confirmation dialog box that must be confirmed on the phone. I want to start the call with no other user interaction. Is this possible with the Webworks framework?

    This is my code:

    function docall() {
        blackberry.invoke.invoke(
            {
                type: "application/vnd.blackberry.phone.startcall",
                action: "bb.action.DIAL",
                data: "{'number': '0123456789'}"
            },
            onSuccess,
            onError
        );
    }

    function onSuccess() {
        console.log("Success");
    }

    function onError(error) {
        console.log("Error: " + error);
    }

    I tried a few alternatives for the attribute data as it send via the uri attribute:
    URI: ' data : //local?number=0123456789.

    Nothing really works. The onSuccess callback is called and it opens from the phone app, but no number is dialled. It shows just the last calls (probably because it's the first screen of the phone app).

    Is there something left? Can a webworks app dial without the intervention of the user more away?

    I am aware that the user must confirm a phone call. Otherwise, a developer could have the user dial any phone number they wanted.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry HS-700 wireless headset will dial a number only

    I just got a new headset wireless for my blackberry curve. This is supposed to be new, in box. Now that it has set up and connected, when I command for dialing a call, he calls the same number... A number of area code 870 that I don't know. It doesn't matter what I say.

    The number was not in my contacts. I looked online and it was in a place in Canada Alberta. I think the helmet that was sold to me as new had actually to be used before and it was a number of that whether he owned previously. I think that nobody has referred to the shop because it could not get other abbreviated numbers.

    However, I continue to play with it and tried just by holding down button of the voice for a long time, until the light has stopped flashing. Then I read on the forum while holding the button a good two seconds before trying to make an appeal. Remove the connection, paired again, then hold the button long enough for my cell phone screen to say "call initiating. It now seems to work fine.

    Sheesh.

  • Time to dial a number

    Can we extention time to compose on a phone. For example, dial 8, to activiate outside the line, dial the area code, then look further to find the rest of the number, at the time where find you the rest of the number, the display is turned off, if you do not pick up the handset, or if you picked up the handset, it comprised the 4 numbers and saids that cannot complete the call. Can we increase this time by user?

    Hello

    Yes, this time can be increased. It is called the T.302 timer in CUCM. You can increase the timer by going to system > Service parameters > Cisco CallManager > T302

    In CUCM Express (or the MAN), you can do the same thing by using the following commands:

    phone service

    timeouts interdigit

    Further details can be found here: http://www.internetworkingcareer.com/voice/how-to-change-the-interdigit-timeout-in-cucm-and-cme/
