Please take a look at:

Also, if you are considering buying Windows server, I suggest to look for the most recent version such as Windows Server 2008 R2, which have more security and functionality.

tried to find this scanner for Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition software, but even now, I'm not find software scan.
Printer model: HP 3390 Laser jetI don't want the drivers. I mean the software. The drivers you get from the page server 2003 and the software from the page I referenced. Otherwise, you need to contact HP, as they provide that software, not Microsoft.

new PowerEdge: windows server 2003 standard r2 install problem
Hi all
so I started with this procedure
- Insert the Dell Systems Build and Update Utility CD or the Dell and Documentation DVD systems management tools in the CD player.
- Reboot your system and boot from the CD/DVD.
- Select Dell Systems Build and Update Utility to go to the Dell Systems Build and Update Utility Home screen.
- Click the server operating system Installation.
- Follow the instructions step by step to set up your hardware and to install your operating system.
Now in the select list of Os, I chose windows server 2003 sp2. When I come to the part where it asks for my o/s drives, I get a "invalid" drive, and my windows install dvd is ejected.
I use our msdn 2939.3 disc titled "Windows Server 2003 R2, Standard Edition with Service Pack 2.
I tried our other msdn discs, but they no longer work.
so I'm stuck.
All I need is to put in place the RAID-1 and windows server 2003.
Anyone who is willing to light on that?

Upgrading to Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition
I buy a Satellite M30x and for work, install Windows Server 2003. But the two devices was not recognized (PORT COM, SERIAL PORT?), no driver has been found. Someone has an opinion to solve this problem. In Device Manager, there are 2 system device Base System (?).
Thank youHello
I think Toshiba does not support drivers for Windows Server 2003 for all laptops!
So the only thing you could do is to try the drivers XP (utility chipset) or search the net en some drivers available!

I am considering buying my daughter a netbook, but the operating system is Windows 7 starter 32 bit SP1. What is the difference between that and the complete software of Windows 7?
Have a look here...
There are fewer features because the machines that installed Starter tend to be low power devices...

Difficult communication between Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2008 R2
I have a client-server application. The application server is installed (Jboss 4.2) on a computer that uses Windows 2003. The Jboss does not have Local system, but a user who has administrator rights. Among other features, this application communicates with other servers that use Windows Server 2008 R2, to find all the services of Jboss that are installed on these machines, their status, the databases that are connected to them, the ports (by checking the file jboss - service.xml, oracle - ds.xml). This communication is done by sending orders sc, as (and other controls to start and stop services):
Status of request \\server SC = all | find/i 'jboss ' | find/i 'service_name ' | find/i "_q".
My problem is that I have to migrate this application from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 R2. After I installed it on my new machine, I saw that the application is not behavies as it should. I managed to observe that the response time to send the same command (the one above) to Windows 2008 R2 to Windows 2008 R2 takes more time that sending the same command from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 R2.
Is something changed in the sc command or there's a problem with the security rights?
If you have an idea, please give me a feedback. This problem is beyond my knowledge.

I use an old server. I've been reading that you can fix the file for XP if you have the disc but Server 2003 a 5 disk, that you would use, or would you use even one of them?

I was given a few HP servers with product keys, but no installation disc. Being quite familiar with the isos, I thought I can find isos and give these babies a new installation. I don't need new operating systems because they will be behind a good firewall. Getting to the point. I found that Microsoft is kind enough to provide software. Much to my dismay, the iso that Microsoft has provided cannot be transformed into a bootable media either a DVD or USB. I tried everything from 7zip usb Microsofts tool. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated!
