  I have a table of twelve columns, each column with different filters tailor-made same table actually. Say a filter column (several people existing on 01/01/2003) comes from people dimension (date_of_birth < = January 1, 2003 ""). Two filter in column b (number of people living in Bucharest between 1 January 2004 and 1 January 2006 "") is (between 2004 and 2006 date_of_birth) etc.
  How do I use column a & column b in the same table of results (view)? I need the different filters on the same table.

  afterImportBatch recovered the value without problems for me in gR 10, 3.

  afterExportBatch is not a valid filter; afterArchiveBatchFile is the correct filter, but I got a null so...

  Try to use the afterDoArchivingExport and afterDoArchivingImport filters to see if they serve your purpose. You won't get a null value for the latter.

• TextField with different filters for different parts of it

  You can apply any number of TextFormats to text segments in any given textField by setting the substring of characters that you want to use any TextFormat. It is not possible to do the same thing with a filter. Filters are applied to the entire objects. So if you want a word or an expression to use a filter, then you will need to separate this part as a separate textField.

  If the custom filter and formatting should be applied in real time during playback, it would be much easier to assemble the text in the form of a graph.

  I have 1 fact tables Sales (ID, Date, VersionID, Count) and dimension 2 - calendar (Date, year, month, week, day,...), Versions (ID, Name).
  I created the Time hierarchy on table calendar, so I can use the AGO. I've done new logical column "Count (1 month ago). It works fine.
  
  Now, I need create analysis with columns: month number, County, (1 month ago). BUT! In the column "number of" I need to see only the values of version of Budget, and in the column "Count (1 month ago)" I need to see only the version values are real.
  
  I try to use the filter for the column "number of '-"Version is equal to the Budget", but this works for all analyses, but not for the column 'number '.
  
  How can I solve this problem?

  in the formula for the column in the criteria tab we have filter option. This is useful to filter this column only.

  There's a nice solution to the inside, whereas it is sad because of the capabilities of computers (RAM and processors), we cannot use more than 8 filters at the same time...

• I use a simple low-pass, but the output of the filter outputs at a different frequency, even if the input frequency is the bandwidth

  I'm simulating a sine wave at approximately 1000 Hz (I'm variable according to the frequency with a slider), I would like to pass this signal by a lowpass filter (butterworth) with a high frequency of 2200 Hz cuttoff and a low pass to 2900 Hz frequency. However, the output after the filter frequency seems to be lower in the order of a thousand. the output frequency is about 0.1 Hz.

  You convert the signal of DDT (which contains the clock information) in a table DBL to perform filtering. Take it a DBL array (which contains no data of timing) and converted it into a DDT (which now contains no data timing). That's why when you try to view and analyze it you have lost all the data timing (frequency).

  If you were to exit table DBL of your filter and build a wave form and provide the dt to the waveform of the sampling frequency control, then it will work.

  Better yet, ditch the DDT and use waveforms from the beginning

  We are looking for a small client to IOS content filtering and I hope someone can answer a few questions about this quickly.

  (1) can you make content by user, strategies... so different filtering for different users by username? I see that you can do by addy/range of IP, it seems

  (2) can make HTTPS inspection? It wasn't able to earlier, just to check to see if something has changed!

  (1) No, IOS content with trend filtering cannot do by user content filtering.

  (2) it cannot inspect HTTPS too.

  If you want to have both the above, you can go with cloud of ScanSafe, URL filtering and Malware/Spyware Windows. It is supported as well by the user content filtering as well as HTTPS inspection.

  It may be because of the image that you want to change.  This applies to all types of files?  How about (8 or 16 or 32) bit depth?

  I have some put filters in place and have affected some global vars to them, that I then use my code of filters to display filters:

  myText:Filters [globals.data.glow1, globals.data.stroke1, globals.data.shad1]

  Works perfectly.

  Now, I want to assign a var overall to each var global filter to determine if it should be established or not.  Then...

  Globals.Data.glow1On = true;

  Globals.Data.stroke1On = true;

  globals.data.shadOn = true;

  ... and then somehow integrate these new vars a conditional to determine if if the global vars filter get included in the code of myText:Filters.

  However, I can't encode the conditional if in the myText:Filters the code correctly.

  I even tried to separate it out as follows:

  If (globals.data.glow1On = true) {myText:Filters [globals.data.glow1];

  If (globals.data.stroke1On = true) {myText:Filters [globals.data.stroke1];

  If (globals.data.shad1On = true) {myText:Filters [globals.data.shad1];

  But the Flash doesn't make that true last filter (a little seems logical now why).

  Is there a way to do it without having to do a conditional if with 7 permutations?

  Yes. Each object has a property of filters only. It's a table, so if you want a bunch of different filters, you must put them in the table:

  [var temp: Array =]

  {if (Globals.Data.glow1On)}

  Temp.push (Globals.Data.glow1);

  }

  {if (Globals.Data.stroke1On)}

  Temp.push (Globals.Data.stroke1);

  }

  etc...

  myText.filters = temp;

  Of course, push is quite slow, and if you do that much then there are probably better ways to do this.

  I do turn a cDAQ-9174 with modules 9225 and 9239 to measure the voltage (120, 208-240, 277 VAC) and current (via the clamp amp i400, Fluke - 10mA/exit A) respectively.

  I have the set scale scale Differential No. (1:1 I guess) for 100: 1 for current and voltage.  With the acquisition mode set to "N samples", 10 samples to read, at the rate of 500 m.  This feeds into 'EPM_Power.vi' (polymorphic VI of the palette of EMP... can be downloaded here, http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/209826)

  I try to check my numbers with an Analyzer of power quality of 435 Fluke and supporting that upward is a Fluke 179 True RMS DMM with clamp amp i200 (for current playback)

  Now, I'm running is my numbers I take data look like they're following a curve of fishing... the averages are on the right, but when my blood pressure is expected to be relatively stable, it's over the map... same story with my current readings.  I tried several different filters without success.  I would like to have relatively stable values for voltage and current so my other values are correct.  Is there a signal conditioner or filter that will help with this?

  Hi, Will,

  Your request for a screenshot actuall lead me to the solution.  Not enough samples!  I took little data too slowly and only seeing part of the wave of fishing AC each iteration.  .. that became glaring when I tried to this graph.  So I increased my sampling of 100 to 5 Hz and things seem to have settled things down a bit.  Thank you for the good question!

  For the codec problem - I would recommend test avi different filters and see which works best.  To see what filters you have available on your computer, use the GetAVIFilterNames and this will fill a list for you.  From there, you can test to see which gives you the desired playback performance and compression.

  For the problem of Eve - in your VI, call an AVI fence and fence IMAQdx?   It sounds like you might not close all your references, and if you leave them open, even closing LabVIEW is not guaranteed that this.   Tryadding to your program.

  conversion of files... files in .wmv format .mpg
  before you import into Movie Maker may be your solution.

  The following freeware can convert:

  (FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
  Restore point before installing software or updates)

  First... after the download and installation of Format

• Selection of Windows Explorer F3 Search options?

  After you select one of my hard drives in Windows Explorer, when I then search of F3, the results I get are often very confused (many reported files contain the search string to ASCII in the name of the file, or the contents of the file).

  Is there a way to control/tell the search engine if I want that he

  (a) matching in the only file names?

  (b) searching for matches in the content of the file only?

  (c) search for matches in the filenames or content of this file?

  It's particularly frustrating when I'm looking for a specific file, including a file extension. For example, a F3 Search for "hal.dll" gives a bunch of files, not just the one and only I'm looking for the "hal.dll" file. It's like the F3 research addresses the 'point' which separates it from the file name of the file as an OR logical operator extension.

  You can try using different filters, honestly, I've never had problems finding what I want using Windows Search.

  For example, you could search for "hal.dll" in one of the following ways:

  Name: = Hal.dll

  -The equal sign after the filter name: means Windows will only look for exact matches

  name: hal ext:dll

  -This would find all the files where the string hal appears in file name with extension dll
