Different keyboards

I just replaced the keyboard on my Satellite 1805 with a new keyboard. The new keyboard is very similar to the American keyboard but has a number of differences. For example, there are different combinations of the following keys:
"2" and "and @ (in position alt)"
' 3 'and'. ' and # (in the alt position)
« 8 » et « () »
' 9 'and') '.
'0' and '='
«and»

It's a QWERTY keyboard. There is no unusual on one of the buttons and no "£".

Currently, the laptop has the keyboard we setting, for example, whenever I select the ")" key I get "(".) "

I searched the internet but can't find any keyboard that corresponds to the layout - but it's obviously a Toshiba keyboard as there are no problems of adjustment of the keyboard and all the 1 to 0 and A to Z keys working properly.

Anyone know what type of keyboard is and what you select to get the correct keyboard of key characters recognized?

I can't say for sure, but maybe you UK keyboard now. When you buy the new keyboard in the lower corner there must be a label with all the necessary numbers and info on the language of the keyboard.

What language has preinstalled OS?
If you are using English Windows try to change the language of entry between the United States and the United Kingdom to see if this will help.

  • Different keyboard in windows 7

My laptop came already implemented. the keyboard acts differently. F5 on a Web page that is used to refresh the page, now it does nothing. ALT f4 would close a window, which does nothing. CTRL o, p, s, c, v, z, x, n etc everything still works, it's just the keys f. they have their own orders like f2 is brightness down, f3 brightness upward. If I press on them their own, they function.

How f5 to rework, alt f4 to work?

    Thank you

It's a choice of material.  I bet that your laptop has a Fn-Lock or Function_Lock keys that will help you to lock the keys F1 - F12 in the "how" instead of the brightness and stuff.

Windows cannot control this, only the hardware can, if you need to find the key that it controls.  If your software included computer manufacturer driver, there may be options in this software.

    Sometimes, the key is color-coded:

  • Qosmio F750 - different keyboards appear in Device Manager

I got a Win 7 startup failure with keyboard lock on which I was able to fix.

Now my Device Manager displays the following information (which seems strange for me):

    Keyboard MCIR Microsoft eHome
    Microsoft eHome Remote control keyboard
Standard 101/102-key or natural microcosm PS/2Clavier with HP QLB

Could someone put me their settings in Device Manager so that I have a hint on how to rectify this.

    Thank you

  • Install a different keyboard

I just replaced the Moose keyboard on my Touchsmart of 320 (running Windows 7) with an ergonomic keyboard 4000 Microsoft Francklin, but none of the special keys on the new keyboard works. My guess is that I need to uninstall the drivers for the old keyboard and reinstall the Microsoft one but cannot work out how to do it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Rachmaninoff28:

Try to install again but this time the right way. First is remove device blue tooth of HP to the rear of the computer that works only with keyboard and mouse HP. Now with your new game insert that came with your new game blue tooth device. If your new game comes with an insulating disc run. If it came with a disc of insulation. Open devices and printers located to the right of all the list of programs in the control panel.  You can click on your new icon set keyboard if it is misclassified and select shoot. Now if your new key leading edge icon is not displayed, click Add a device now, click the icon for your new keyboard. It will then download the drivers and software for that you can use.

  • Is it possible to dedicate a different keyboards and mice USB to VMs simultaneous different?

    Is this possible?

To clarify, I want to run two (or more) near identical VMs on the same OS (Mac) of the host and connect a USB keyboard and mouse for each of them, but I want the USB keyboard/mouse to only make a contribution to a virtual machine of each at the same time. At the same time.

I did a quick test with Apple keyboard / mouse, mouse connected to the keyboard ports and it that have been listed under USB in the Virtual Machine menu.

Would an external hub for each VM thing do?

    Is this possible?

    Yes.

I did a quick test with Apple keyboard / mouse, mouse connected to the keyboard ports and it that have been listed under USB in the Virtual Machine menu.

This is to prevent novice users to shoot himself in the foot - a USB device that is connected to a customer is not available for the host, which could result in a user being stuck in the comments. See USB HID in the user's Guide to VMware Fusion power.

  • Connection keyboard and mouse USB Wired stall

    Hello

My computer repeatedly interrupts the connection to my Wired USB mouse and keyboard.  Usually around one every 30 seconds, the connection falls for 1 to 1.5 seconds, then comes back.  Meanwhile, the cursor hangs - I can't click anything, and I can't press any keys on the keyboard.  For example - when I type, I have my keyboard will stop working for a while, and no text will appear.  This is particularly problematic when I play games.

I tried to reboot the computer, reset the SMC and the mouse and keyboard.  I also tried all USB entries on my mac (4 in total), and the problem persisted with each of them.  This leads me to believe that it is either a problem with all the USB inputs, or a software problem.

I have an iMac 27 inches, mid-2011 with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (specifications: 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB with 1333 MHz DDR3 memory and storage capacity of 2 TB).

I use a wired USB (Logitech G402) mouse and keyboard USB Wired (Razer BlackWidow Stealth).  I have the latest version of Logitech Gaming Software and Razer Synapse installed for support.

    I would appreciate help.

Check if there are updates available driver.

To check if the problem is with the USB to your Mac controller, test with a different keyboard or mouse.

To check the extensions conflicts, etc., try the startup mode.

Restart in Safe Boot mode by holding down the SHIFT key at startup. Secure boot is quite slow because the operating system performs some cleanup and verification tasks, so give it time. Once you're completely connected, restart normally.

  • After updated recent windows 10 keyboard not work properly in Firefox [and also Chrome but well on board].

Key press a single key seed to type QWERTY in sequence on each press. The virtual keyboard works very well.

The keyboard has no problem in other programs [except Chrome]

Upgrade Windows 10 was last week and everything was fine until today when the Tuesday updates have been installed.

Have tried to reinstall the keyboard drivers, used a different keyboard and change the settings of the keyboard, but to no avail.

Obviously something to do with browsers because it only affects Firefox and Chrome [why not explore / Edge?] ... then tried to reset the settings and then reinstall... but again without success.

    Any help would be welcome.

Found it... took off Zonealarm and all is well again.

I forgot Zonealarm has also updated that day... don't know why it only affected Firefox and Chrome but not flight attendants.

ZoneAlarm are behind the curve on Windows 10 and of course always, haven't paid the stable version.

  • keyboard and multi langgages

I work with a QWERTY keyboard. Because I often write in different languages, I would like AutoCorrect in the language I'm writing in. I know that on an iPhone and an iPad that's easy to do. I know that I can add different keyboards in iMac as well, but the problem is that the keyboard changes as well...  Can someone tell me how to change the language without changing the keyboard... Thank you very much...

OS X does not use the keyboard to change the AutoCorrect.  Instead, you're going to edit > spelling and grammar > show spelling and grammar and change the dictionary.

  • Satellite M50-A-110 - looking at the keyboard backlight upgrade

I bought my laptop 2 weeks ago and I'm looking to upgrade my keyboard with backlight keyboad.

The motherboard has the additional connector, but I need to confirm with you: [Motherboard | http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww321/maliaros/th_20140527_1532171.jpg]

Also, I found some vendors on ebay sell the keyboard for half as much as the Distributor and I'd like to know what you reccoment.

    Hello

    > Also, I found some vendors on ebay sell the keyboard for half as much as the Distributor and I'd like to know what you reccoment.

In many cases the different keyboard would be consistent, since most of them are supported the same hardware specifications.

With regard to the additional keyboard connector:
AFAIK the backlight keyboard must be connected to the additional connector called * JBLG *.
But to be honest, I have not found in on the photo that you placed in the post.

  • Portege R111 - where is the 'END' button on the keyboard

    Hello

    I have a laptop Portege R111, model No. PPR11N-01KOK2.
In the bios, I changed. The changes are applied to the key 'end '. Without changes to the ESC.

This key 'End' I find it on the keyboard.

Can someone tell me where the key on the keyboard?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dag

This portable Portege is not known to me... He doesn't seem to be a European model for laptop so I did find many details on this unit... However, depends on the allocation of key keyboard keyboard language.
On the keyboard of my computer laptop first END is located between the LED and PGDN (page down) button buttons.

The other laptop supports another configuration of keyboard and the END key is placed between POS1 and PGUP buttons (previous page).

Also I recommend you to check out the user manual too.
Especially different keyboard layouts are described in operating manuals

  • Satellite A50 432 and WXP - bad keyboard mapping

    Hello

    first excuse my English

I have a satellite Satellite A50 432 with a 86 qwerty key and when I install windows xp I have a wrong map.

I try to find a driver appropriate on the toshiba support page in the archives, but I can't find the driver for the keyboard

    could you help me?
    Thanks for your response

The question is what type of keyboard language?
I googled around for Toshiba Satellite A50 432 and it seems that this device is released in Germany.
What is the German-language support keyboard?

In this case, you need to change the keyboard language to German also.
Go to the CONTROL PANEL-> REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE OPTIONS-> LANGUAGES tab.

    1. under the TEXT input AND LANGUAGE SERVICES, click the DETAILS button.
    2. under INSTALLED SERVICES, click Add.
    3. in the add input language dialog box, choose the input language and keyboard or input method editor (IME) you want to add.
    4. apply the settings. Now you should see a language icon in the system tray and you can switch between languages different keyboard by pressing the ALT + SHIFT.
