  If, as you say, they are completely separate installations on separate hard disks, each with there own version of PS for example, there should be no way that they could interfere with each other! I assume you are using a form any of Boot Manager to load a specific version of Mac OS x?

  I did something similar at the start in a similar situation with client compatibility and not had a problem with either interfere with others!

  However, you share the programs somehow between different OS, so that would be another matter.

  If you have decided to move to Exadata, the best thing to do is run 11.2.0.4.  I wouldn't go below 11.2.0.3 for a new implementation, since 11.2.0.2 is out of error correction.  You won't be able to get 11.1 to run easily, and 11.2.0.1 will be difficult because the DSO start is the value 11.2.0.2.0 for the compatibility of the database (you must watch on a 4 X to see if it is updated to 11.2.0.4.0).  Of course, 12.1 is fully supported.

  It goes without saying that each new version contains slightly different characteristics.  Some of the new features include support for HTML5, CSS3, FluidGrid Layouts, etc... that will not be supported in a legacy of 2008 application.  Conversely, your version of 2008 may contain features that are obsolete (past) CC 2014 (Spry Widgets, server behaviors, anchors, APDiv layers named, and so on...)  But nothing prevents you to install the two side by side.  You simply cannot open both at the same time.

I was unable to connect to one of them, but the other was very good - I have had help 'screen sharing' a technical chap BT to sort. However, he was able to Conect Thunderbird with email servers. I said to BT and the chap tech tried to sort on screen sharing, but could not (and I have been unable to follow what he was doing). A few months ago, I made a few changes, as requested by BT, to allow for the transfer to go smoothly (!), but the man has changed some things Friday, I think, as well. He could not solve the problem of TB and I can't figure it out at all, and the Lady of BT Tech help to whom I spoke this morning (and who had managed to fix my problem of connection BTID, fortunately) had a look and suggested that maybe I needed an update/new/different version TB or 'another email address. Well, I really want to stay with Thunderbird and was hoping that someone here could explain it in simple English for me, please? I was wondering what will happen, assuming that I need to download an updated version / different, if I did this and then sort of re-installed my existing BT email addresses (as if I started again with Thunderbird)? I hope that there is someone here who can help you - thank you - I'm rather fond of this little blue bird. Thank you.

  I have problem when I try to keep two different versions of a project in my PC. I developed a master project with a VI and severals subVIs. This project works correctly, but now I want to make some changes. Then I created another folder with a copy of this (kind of backup) program. However, when I opened the new version, there comes into conflict with the subvis two versions (old and new). And I wouldn't make some changes and modify the version of security and everytime I open a version should solve all conflicts either.

  You know any way to avoid this problem?

  Probably you have copied your project directory in Windows Explorer.

  What you need to do to create an exact copy of the project and all content, is to open the project in LabVIEW, select "file > save as...". ", select the option 'Double' and then select the option 'include all the dependencies '.

  Now you must choose a folder where you want to save your project and the name you want to give to your project file. When you click 'OK' the project will be duplicated in the requested folder.

  I try to use the Microsoft Office tool that implement an MSI for 64-bit Office 2010 installation file.  The tool works file and creates the msi file.  I get to the tool by going to the x 64-bit folder on the office 2010 installation disc.

  I install a new virtual machine from Windows 7 and tried to use the MSI file to install office 2010 and I get the error:

  "The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded is may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program"

  If I just click Setup on the office 2010 dvd he moved very well on the same VM window7.

  Does anyone have an idea how do to understand why the windows installer keep fails or what he wants?

  If I click on the msi even on a system with office 2007 is installed, I get the same error.
