  Looks like you have a problem with the installation of the latest version of iTunes on your Windows computer, the error message you describe. Is this correct?

  This sometimes occurs when the Windows registry has conflicting information on software are installed.   If installation will not yet pass by then double-click on the file iTunes.reg that you did to restore the data in the registry, and then use the method shown to install missing components to unpack the installer of your previous iTunes installation, then extract the .msi file, you need.
