• Difficulty with printer (custody loss of connection)

  I have been using a Zebra 2844 thermal printer during the past year. In recent months he has been giving me problems. When I try to use the printer it is greyed out and says offline, when I put in online it (it shows online) it does not print when I try to print a test page. If I turn the computer off and wait for a long time, like 12 hours and go back to give it another shot he usually works for a little while, so I have to go through all that again. I tried two different zebra printers, 3 cables different and different drivers for the printer and it still doesn't work as it should. I use the same cables and software on both computers. The only thing that seems strange with my computer, it's that when I go to install the printer, I have only a single port usb (USB002) option. I have 4 USB ports on my computer, 1 is used by the keyboard, and it has a wi - fi dongle. Can anyone help to understand what is happening? I don't want to have to buy a new computer just to print, but since I use it for my business I don't know what I can do. SE re-formatting help with the problem?

  Not only do this if you can update IE, but XP with SP3 installed is supported until April 2014. Nothing that less is no longer supported.

   

  If you installed SP1a, you can go directly to SP3. If only the SP1 is installed, download and install SP2 first.

  Before you install, disable your antivirus and anti-spyware such as Windows Defender programs. If you are using another firewall, disable and enable Windows Firewall in the control panel for the installation. Once the SP2 and SP3, then is in and functional, you can activate the third-party firewall and put the Windows Firewall. Do not keep the two running.

  When you are fully updated, now you can install IE8. I would recommend defrag before and after installing IE8.
   
  Download IE8 on your desktop. Do not use Windows or Microsoft Updates.

  Restart your computer. With no other programs running, disable your antivirus software and spyware or programs you can have spam. If you run a third of firewall, disable it and enable the Windows Firewall.

  2 when was the last time it was working fine?

• Photo card printing problem

  I've used iPhoto before and had no difficulty to print a card using the PDF export option. However, I am trying to print a map now and it exports as 3 pages with the photo, which should be on the front of the card and therefore on the side right of the page, appearing on the left side of the page, the next page is empty on the right side with the greeting on the left side and the next page at the back of the card on the left side with a blank section in the right. When you print from your computer, some files are sent to your printer as "image" files If your printer 'think' it prints an image, color ink may be used to enrich or to 'do' the dark. This can be misleading because your machine can really be confronted a black ink, problem of print, but you may think that your machine works great as always black appears in print. While in reality, it's just the ink to mix color to black. Therefore, at the beginning troubleshooting I'll have print you a standalone report diagnosis on the quality of your printer. • All-in-one printer will not print documents.

  I tried to print documents from my printer on a computer with XP operating system and transplanted paper and went out in white. I put the printer on my other computer with a 8.1 operating system and get the same results. I ran the printing and scanning doctor and checked the difficulty of printing. He tells me everything retrieves and prints a test page is not due to a lack of ink, I thought that could be the cause as my ink is low. Individual items on difficulty printing do not run through one at a time, they appeared all at once, and the bar for what is printing is full until the printer starts to feed paper.

  He would make copies either, so I change the ink cartridges and now it prints. I still don't understand why it would print a test page with ink, but not anything else.

• Officejet 8000 Wireless: color printing

  Diagnosis page shows all the ink cartridges are half full.  The page also shows that magenta/cyan and black/yellow printheads are good.  Yet when in a trial in which I tried to print each color separately (yellow, magenta and cyan) only yellow printed.  Please let me know if I need a new head print and new cartridges.

  I understand that you have a question in color printing.  You print a diagnostics page and inks exhibition about half full and health of the print head is OK.  When you were trying to print each color individually only yellow printed.

  Here is a link that I think will help with this difficulty:

• Printer re - install - Scan does not work

  I have re-installed a series HP Photosmart C3100 all in One printer/scanner on a new PC with Windows 7-64 bit. Downloaded the latest version of the software including a patch (CPE_SCAN_DESTINATION_UPDATE_hpcom_001_003) without apparent difficulty. Print and copy of work but the Scan does not work. Downloaded the diagnostic utility, HPSDU and executed. HPSDU crosses the first five steps and hangs up on HP Scanner Twain, Message says scanner does not respond, the device and the computer to restart. Have done this several times with the same result.

  This printer and scanner worked fine on old Vista PC. Any ideas?

  I did a complete uninstall of all the HP software and reinstalled. I don't have reinstall the patch. Scanner works now!

  Test print from computer works with HP Printer Wizard.

  However, printing documents from applications fails. Documents go in the queue and then disappear - just like they should be ended at printing. Only the indication of a problem, it's that nothing prints. (Not even the sound of the printer.)
