  • Print invoices from Xero accounting software came up with random question marks instead of digits/numbers

    Hello

We just started to use the Xero accounting software and it generates invoices in PDF format.   When the Preview on screen before you print it shows correctly, but once printed, it prints with an exclamation mark to chance on the invoice due date, for example. May 15 201? instead of May 15, 2015.  It does this on each invoice, to calculate all in our office.  I contacted Xero and they say they produce the invoice correctly and that it may be a problem to Adobe.  When you print in overview (on mac), it prints properly but not in Adobe Reader.  Any ideas?

Currently using Mac OS X 10.10.3, Safari 8.0.5, Adobe Reader 11.0.11 (or the previous version - I though updated might set but not luck).

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help us with that.

    Cordially ,

    Andrew.

    Hi André,.

Can you share an example of file to [email protected] so that I can check my end.

What printer you are using? Should I use a PostScript or PCL driver?

Have you tried 'Print as Image' and verified?

  • fields of digital type in the table editor can be too small

    Hello

just a minor inconvenience: depending on the settings of digital numbers may not fully appear in the table editor, refer to the figure below where a digital precision of 15 has been set with scientific notation. Of course, these values are used to display the stepsize in the editor, too... Because it is possible "scroll" the number is not a real problem, but it is not very nice either

    Hi Wolfgang,.

I could reproduce this behavior here on my end. I'll take it then they can handle it for the next version of the CVI.

  • Set the format digital u32 when writing of TDMS files

We use two meters of a PCI-6251, with two counters in the mode of angular position, to measure the angular positions of the two optical encoders 1000 per second for intervals of 10 to 20 hours.  We are writing to write files using PDM.  The files are very large, about 800 MB, but it is acceptable.  Convert us the TDMS files in .txt files, and then the data from .txt files are analyzed in Mathematica.

My question is: How does one control the digital format of the data that is written in TDMS write?  At this moment we have two counters of the value of the product N = 10000 numbers U32 samples are then transmitted continuously to a TDMS file every 10 seconds.  The counters are using units of ticks (integers) and we would like to see whole in our data files.  We are convinced that the counters are producing U32 to the format number, since we see the correct U32 integers in the indicators on the front panel and we see labels on the value axis on our waveform graphs are integers, not real numbers.

But it is also clear that Scripture TDMS puts double-precision (64-bit) numbers floating point in the PDM file, not numbers of U32.  The double-precision floating-point numbers cause our .txt files to be twice as big as they should be - these .txt files are half full with useless zeros and decimal points.  In addition, when you convert the U32 to double-precision real numbers, it seems to be a loss of precision as a result of writing of PDM, which is not acceptable.

Our experience produces pairs of integers: U32 (or I32) format.  We could even get away with numbers I16.  Is it possible to get our data to stay in U32 (or same I16) format when they are written to the TDMS file?  What controls the digital numbers written to tdms?  Do all the numbers written in a PDM file end up being written as floating-point numbers double-precision?

We use LabVIEW 8.2 on a PC running windows XP.

If associate you TDMS write U32 data, data in the file will be U32. Floating-point conversion probably occurs when you read data from the file back. You can change this by plugging in a U32 empty table at the entrance of 'data type' reading PDM.

You can check the data type in the file by examining the channel properties in the viewer of TDMS files. If NI_DataType is 7, given in the file are U32. If it is 10, data are floating point.

    Hope that helps,

    Herbert

  • Is it safe to delete the .dmp files in the program directory?

I found a big enough .dmp file in my Firefox installation directory:
    c:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox\core.20130617.XXXXXX.XXXXX.XXXX.dmp
It seems that the main file is labeled with a date stamp; the "X" are other digital numbers by hiding I am those out because I'm not sure they're relevant. Is it safe to remove this? Note that this file does not appear in topic: down.

Delete it and restart the computer, make sure that firefox is not open as windows usually makes those when you get BSOD.

Hello everyone, I'm new here so I hope I'm not repost this question...

I just bought a subscription to Skype and tried to make a normal call my bank where the automated operator requires a keyboard (or tone) input. I tried to answer with a keyboard and NUMPAD digital numbers but did hear no dial tone and got a request for repetition. Is there a way to respond to these operators automated by using key and how I go about this?

    Thanks for your help, Sam

Great! That worked, but I didn't know there is a keyboard during a call on Skype interface. Thank you!

    Help

What is the point of having a huge screen and a desktop computer if it does not open more simple spreadsheets that I used on the machine in the last two days. How should I do?

    HI Roger,

Not enough information to give a definitive answer.

Is the current version of the version (3 digits) numbers only you have already been installed on the Mac? (Can't even guess that, as you have sindou no information as to what model it is or the version of Mac OS X you have installed).

If you have had Numbers ' 09 on this machine, it is probably still there, in a folder named iWork 09 in your Applications folder.

If this is the case, one possible cause is that you try, whether intentionally or by accident, to open files in Numbers ' 09. Try to open the file by dragging the icon of 3 numbers on the platform and by the applicant on this icon. The icon number 3 is a bar chart with FOUR bars. Numbers ' 09 has a similar icon, but the bar graph has only 3 bars.

    Kind regards

  • I can't write operating records

My hay program mast view some data from a controller. This with an Ethernet connection. I read everything and I can write coils bet I can't write operating records. I hope someone can help? Heir my VI: Rutte

With split or join in the digital numbers / range of data manipulation, you can take two U8 and join them in a single U16 (and vice-versa using split).  And you can take two U16 and join them in an only U32.

Take a look at the attached Subvi, I did.  It is a wrapper for the Modbus VI functions so that I could use enumerations to read or write specific registers by name and manage the manipulation of data as a result.  It may call for a couple of typedef, that I created for my particular application, but that should not prevent you to see the structure and how I did the manipulation of data using the split and join.

  • Anomalies of programming in the C:\ drive and to the registry files?

The system I am writing on the subject is on an Acer Aspire 5050-3785 computer laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium SP2.
I have two annoying problems that may be related.
One: Empty folders are created programmatically in the C:\ folder with the folder names of the form "_xxxxxx_", where folder names consist of a character to underscore as prefix and suffix, with 6 digital numbers in the middle.   These records all network service as owner, with special permissions inherited from C:\ to Traverse folder/execute the file; List folder/read data; Read attributes; Read extended attributes Create files/write data; Creation of files/add data; and read permissions.  Permissions are shown to apply to folders only.  What kind of program could create these folders?
Two: Another question, that might be related, is the presence of Oriental characters in the prefix of many names of readers in the registry and some references the program command?  Many of these bodies are in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\EMDMgmt.  My language setting is for English only.
Can someone please explain these anomalies and may offer suggestions for the procedure?  Thank you.

Whatever the program creates files is a program in execution, so the best way to know is to stop running programs and the figure on which we did.

Run the command MSCONFIG and uncheck all programs on the Startup tab.  Reboot and see if it persists.  If not, add a program or two until you find the cause.

EMDMgmt is a ReadyBoost service.  This page has some details and said that "EMD" stands for 'external memory device'.

Thank you for your reply, only if I compare the colors in hexadecimal in Photoshop and I print, the result (profit) is not completely similar to the color chart. I know that I'll ever really the same colors, but I will get all of the colors too close to the truth as possible.

The hexadecimal values for red, blue and green are different if your photo file is in sRBG, aRGB, Prophoto RGB...

Color management is far from simple. It helps to have a good understanding of light, color and how it can be represented in digital numbers, on the operation of your camera, your eyes, your display and your color printer.

Your printer to come finally, after taking care to shoot with the right lighting, camera settings well; you have edited based on what you see on your screen and the final problem, the printer settings come in last, you want to get your impression similar to your screen. You are right that you will never really get the same colors, but you hope that by comparing the hexadecimal values will help you.

And my question is, what hexadecimal values (or R, G, B values, it is equivalent) you compare?

A description of your workflow may help guide you:

    -Are you shooting raw?

-How do you use the raw converter or editor to correct the color?

-your screen isn't good enough and calibrate it you with an external tool?

    -Work in aRGB or sRGB?

-You use an external raw converter (from the manufacturer of your camera, Lightroom or other)?
