receiver wireless ergonomic 7000 keyboard

Anyone know if the keyboard7000 natural wireless must have the small receiver?  I picked up 2 keyboards at a sale of surplus, one I think is the model 7000, the other is not.  I also picked up two receivers office.  The other (also an ergonomic natural) keyboard connects to one of the receivers office, but the 7000 does not connect to one or the other.

From what I see, the native 7000 with the small USB receiver, not the largest receiving office like the ones I have.

The receiver made a difference?
I have two receivers are:
Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Receiver 2. 0 and the other is
Microsoft Wireless Desktop receiver 3.1.

Of course, it could be a problem with the keyboard, it is a second-hand, but I was wondering if it could be a problem of not having the correct receiver.

Thanks for any help.

  • My wireless Microsoft of the ergonomic 7000 keyboard does not receive a good signal.

I used the Microsoft Natural Wireless ergonomic keyboard 7000 a few years ago. Several months ago, I noticed that it ws become numb sometimes. As if the receiver was not picking up anything. I would be typing away and notice that nothing appeared on the screen. Then suddenly, a messy confusion of what I typed would seem all at once. With some missing characters, some repeated several times and strange spacing.

I ran all kinds of virus and malware checks that some thing was not slow down my system up to the point where the receiver could ' t keep up. But everything went well. And I have MS Security Essentials run continuously. Finally, I realized just the keyboard was old and bad functioning. So, although I preferred, I went to the MS Wireless Laser Kayboard 6000. That worked fine but I've always preferred ergonomic one.

Recently, I was given another keyboard ergonomic 7000 I had actually given to a family member when I got mine, but she never used. So even if it is the age of the SME, it has never been used. And immediately the problems returned when I started to use this one instead. I tried to use it with the old man and the receiver, the one that came with the other. This isn't a specific hardware problem.

I use Windows 7 64-bit and for the record, the mouse seems to have no problems. Just the keyboard.

Whatt could be the cause? It seems he MAY have started when Windows Update has installed the latest driver for it (the same driver who replaced programs where you may affect both the special keys on the keyboard and the mouse and change the speed of scrolling, etc. with the TERRIBLE new program that is not as easy to use.) So is it possible to go back to the previous driver IntelliType?

  • Replacement receiver wireless laser 6000 mouse for

Hi, I lost my receiver wireless laser mouse 6000.  Can I buy just the receiver at MS or even a universal one work anyway?  also, I can't find the installation cd.  I think I can get the site Ms.

Hey, I just lost an hour of my life speaking to Indians in their call center and still don't know how I can order a replacement dongle.

Next time I'll go with Logitech - at least they offer better support on the hardware side!

Try to call Microsoft's orders to the (800) 360-7561 service to get a replacement. They were very helpful when I was looking for a replacement receiver for my wireless arc mouse.

  • Microsoft Wireless Natural Multimedia Keyboard, special keys on top of the keyboard do nothing

    Hello

I use Vista 64 bit and am having a problem with my Microsoft Wireless Natural Multimedia keyboard.  I use a port USB to ps/2 adapter for keyboard can work in my Dell which has usb inputs.  I downloaded and installed ITP64Eng6.30.191.0.exe Web sites to get the keyboard work.

Almost everything works fine except for the special keys on top of the keyboard (My Documents, my pictures, my music and Messenger).  When I press the buttons, nothing happens.  I tried the reallocation by using the software that has been installed with ITP64Eng6.30.191.0.exe nothing works.   Curiously, some other buttons special (media, mail and home) do not work except that they cannot be reassigned.  I also tried to delete and reinstalled ITP64Eng6.30.191.0.exe without success to get all of the keys on the keyboard to work.

In addition, sometimes the return key back and to the right cursor key will not work.  Sometimes they work and sometimes they are not.  Ususally they work very well for a while and then if I reboot they will work again.

Keyboard diagnostics does not recognize the keys that do not work as same presses.  I know that all the keys work fine when I use them on my XP machine.

    Thanks for your help.

To study more, I start to think that the keyboard doesn't perhaps due to the adapter usb to ps/2.  I use the SABRENT USB to PS/2 (PS/2) converter adapter cable model SBT-PS2U.  Based on the reviews on newegg.com, it may be the card that is originally a few keys not working and the collage of some keys.

  • Microsoft Natural ergonomic 4000 keyboard don't work via KVM / port replicator

I currently have a keyboard, mouse, two monitors and speakers attached to a KVM / port replicator that allows me to easily switch between a desktop and laptop.  I recently bought a Microsoft Natural ergonomic 4000 keyboard.  When it is plugged directly into the office, the keyboard works fine, but when connected by the KVM / Replicator port, it is not recognized and does not work.  I did bother to try it with the laptop but, given that I don't keep it if it won't work with my desktop configuration.

All the drivers for the keyboard are loaded on the PC (Win7).

What gives?  Any ideas?  I don't want to trash, but will be in the blink of an eye (more will probably say something not nice about material that is not work and play well with-the others on a review).

I just bought this receiver wireless xbox 360 to pc and after the installation of ridicule, I found that there was only a range of 5 inches! To trouble shoot this problem I disabled all my other 2.4 ghz points just to see if there was any terrestrial interference but still the remains of 5-inch range. Then, I tried different controllers and they still only worked literally right next to the receiver. It is a common problem with these things, and is there a way to fix it?

    I am running windows 7 x 64

    Hello

    1. the controllers work properly remotely?

    2. What are the installation problems are you facing the computer?

When you plug in the receiver, it should automatically install and start working on Windows 7.

    Method 1:
Try the fresh or fully charged batteries in controllers.

    Method 2:
If the problem persists, the receiver may be defective because another controller aware of the same problem.
