  I started to work in a new office, where the CM3530 HP used to be able to scan and email to scan to the people.  Which stopped working a few months ago, although no one can tell me under what circumstances.

  I went to this for untold hours.  This printer can send an email through smtp.gmail.com?  I don't have a local mail server - I googled.  This printer will work with my gmail account?  On the tab "Digital transmission", in "E-mail settings", I enter all the appropriate information for my Google account - cross my heart and hope to die, it's all 100% of correct answers.  I hit 'Test' and the message is always the same: "'smtp.gmail.com' does not respond or is not a valid SMTP gateway server."  Which, of course, is simply not true.

  So, what other settings can I change so that the printer recognizes smtp.gmail.com?  Here is some relevant information (maybe) in the settings page:

  For the customer, I wanted to say I guess it depends on how you look at it as a customer provides a service - something like Postmail or similar should be enough, I had these configurations running before with postmail and several other clients (Dovecot etc.) has therefore had no problem using a courier service, acting as a relay service.

  Gmail isn't a unique gateway, that is why the printer can be given one, some people publish network addresses, but they do not tend to work or change.

  If I had an old PC laying around I would try something like SME Server that has a client of mail in its default installation and should allow you to configure it as a relay which could prove the concept without spending another time.

  I used to use ESmith which was replaced by an SME (although now I use Ubuntu) and large Esmith worked, I had several relay to several customers and had the inbound replication of 15 minutes and outbound instant.

  I think that the normal login procedure is: -.

  1. connect the firewire cable to the camcorder.

  2. connect the other end to the laptop.

  3. turn on the camcorder (in play rather than camera mode).

  4. Windows will detect the camcorder and will make available as input source for your capture software.

  Hi Ali211,

  Yes, you can use a source of sample for the digital input/output clock external clock. You can connect the external clock source to one of the lines PFI (PFI0-PFI15) and specify the source clock sample like this outer line of PFI.

  There are some shipping DAQmx examples that you can start with. Find the examples by clicking Help > find examples in LabVIEW.

  It is perhaps a silly question.  Is there a way to determine the representation of a digital control of its reference?  For example, U8 vs DBL. I want to fill in the data of a file to a vi and then run it.  I can't seam to find the property that I need.

  I am trying to install a simple VI on a myRIO-1900 to use a digital potentiometer as a variable resistance. I carefully used a SPI dpot successfully, but I have problems during the transition to a controlled i2C dpot.

  My assumption was a table 1 d of two elements, the first being the byte of the instruction and the second data byte. However, that's just my guess; If you need more information, I could ask the manufacturers of the AD5242 for more information.

• How can I connect my digital cable box through my computer?

  By windows media center, I always looked at regular cable TV by connecting the cable into the wall at the back of my computer.  Now, I just digital cable using a digital camera and I want to know if it is possible to hang the digital cable through the box in my computer?  There is no regular cable to hang on the back of the digital box, only hdmi and connections red white and yellow rca.  I tried the hdmi on the HDMI on the back of the computer, and I also tried the rca for connecting "composite video" on the front of my computer, but still no signal.  Can someone please?

  I got a refurbished T400 (6474WHF) with XP Professional SP3, it works very well so far. It has a Firewire (IEEE 1394) interface in front of her. When I connect my digital camera through IEEE, the camera is not recognized in some way. I tested my camera with my other PC, the device works very well. I guess that the IEEE interface is not activated somehow. I checked in BIOS but I couldn't find an option to activate the Firewire interface. However, my Thinkvantage Helpcenter, I found that there should be an available option of IEEE. I've already updated my BIOS but no IEEE option is always available. Do you have an idea how to activate the IEEE interface internal?

• How can I get the string value displayed on a digital control defined for the relative time.

  I have a digital potentiometer to display relative time in increments of 30 minutes.

  I want to record the value displayed on the control string.  Unfortunately, when I use the "convert to decimal string.vi" number, the resulting string is just the value in seconds.

  How can I get the value as a string? (for example 01:30 for an hour and thirty minutes)

  I have a feeling, this is a silly question, but here goes. I have the VI below to read the entry of an analogue of the ADC0803LCN to digital converter through 8 lines.

  The DAQ assistant is configured to read a digital input for all 8 lines and outputs in a matrix of LED that outputs then a digital indicator to show the binary value.

  However even if I don't have the connected equipment and run the program, all lights are lit and on my multimeter I read + 5V to each line. I'm puzzled why I get an output voltage in each line when 'acquire Digital Input' works and why LEDs are HIGH without input logical proof. Even when it is connected to the material, which runs correctly, it still shows all logical LED HIGH with the release of material would not justify this. Any help would be great, thanks. I'm a Newbie, just to be clear , thanks.

  While researching materials for a future tutorial, I came across a problem with the shape properties automatic and Fireworks 8.
  
  Fireworks CS3 has the ability to change the properties of auto shape by digital inputs, through the auto shape properties panel. I still have MX 2004, and it does not have this option. I'm not sure that of Fireworks 8 (I skipped this generation).
  
  So my question is basically this: the auto shape properties panel introduced in CS3 or FW8?
  
  I am also curious to know if someone knows a way to change in MX 2004 AutoShapes by means other than manual of these pointers moving (if I missed something).

• Equium L40-10 X query: connecting to a HD TV

  I have a HD TV, I need my laptop to establish links with.

  I was told that the 15-pin male VGA to HDMI cable is needed for this I understand; No problem.

  However, I need to know if my video card can support digital signal through VGA port function output. Can someone answer this, and if POSSIBLE, could it talk me through setting up?

  It of possible to convert the digital signal to analog, but not possible to convert analog to digital.
  In addition, you are unable to upgrade or replace the graphics card. The chip is part of the motherboard and is not replaceable.
