• See bug handles (and confiscation) with the direct Selection of the 5.5 tool?

  Install previous Illy (including 5.5), clicking on a path with the direct Selection "chose" tool this path or shape and showed all the anchors and handles, so I could catch. Now, when I click on a path or shape with direct selection, I get nothing. If I know where is an anchor, I can enter directly (with a guess) and move it - which shows me its handles, but I can't catch them.

  I've never had this problem before. Is there some preference that I need to put? I have a bad installation? Does anyone else have this problem?

  Can someone help me understand how to get my direct Selection tool in order to get things moving agin?

  As it is new files that have the problem, no existing files, I suspect it's that nothing related to the questions I've asked so far.

  Have you tried to reset your InDesign preferences?

  To do this, shut down InDesign, then:

  • (Windows) Start InDesign and press Shift + Ctrl + Alt to a click of compounds Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.

  • (Mac OS) While pressing Shift + Option + command + control, start InDesign. When asked if you want to delete preference files, click Yes.

• How can disable switch between different input languages (= keyboard languages) by pressing the Alt + Shift keys? __

  Although I can now perform steps

  1. On the start menu, choose Control Panel.

  2. In Control Panel, select regional and Language Options.

  3. In the Regional And Language Options dialog box tab, under Text Services and input languages, click details.

  4. In the text Services and input, in the Preferences section languages, dialog box click on the key parameters.

  5. In the dialog box advanced key settings, click Change Key Sequence.

  6. In the change Key Sequence dialog box, clear the switch input languages check box, and click OK.

  7. In the advanced key settings dialog box, click OK.

  8. In the text Services and input languages dialog box, click OK.

  9. In the Regional And Language Options dialog box, click OK.

     But I need some settings registry keys to do the trick above to me, because it is difficult to do it on the number of PCs that requires users to restrict the swith between input languages.
     No idea or help is greatly appreciated.

  I found the place where exactly this may be small :).

  [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Toggle]
  "Hotkey" = "1".
  'Language Hotkey' = '3 '.
  'Shortcut page layout' = '2 '.

  Change the value of "Language Hotkey" accordingly.

  1 sequence of button enabled; Use Left ALT + SHIFT to switch between locales.
  2 key activated sequence; Use CTRL + SHIFT to switch between locales.
  3 invalid key sequences.
  4 If the default locale is Thai, the grave accent key activates / deactivates the input locale. otherwise the keystrokes are disabled.

  Another problem is that it sits under HKCU as well, same as if I pack this setting with MSI, it won't have a any use to me. Since then, installation is done using MSI localadmin account and HKCU is associated with the current session. If a new user who connects to this settting does not apply, and even if it rises "access denied" :(

• Illustrator questions 15.3 - selection tools, Shift key not working not properly

  Hi, my Illustrator started doing strange things, I'll work away and then the Selection tool will decide Exchange with the direct Selection tool or the SHIFT key function will not perform as it should. There is obviously something upsetting, but I don't know what! Any thoughts?

  I use a Wacom Intuos5 (driver is up to date) and I'm on the retina of Macbook pro 15 "/ OSX El Capitan."

• direct selection of Illustrator travel path tool lets lines

  When I use the direct selection, selection 2 angle of the shape and the mobile path, it leaves lines.

  Dougofakkad already suggested it is duplicated inkings. Your basic drawing-model is not clean. You must check and remove duplicate control points.

  Most likely suffice after the removal of the path segment to select the anchor points at the original position and remove the button 'remove anchor points' in the control panel. Don't just press BACKSPACE.

• Direct Selection tool. PS CC hangs at each time a modified form. Suggestions?

  I am currently using the latest version of PS CC - set to update to the latest "bugs" and all.

  Whenever I use the direct Selection tool, I select points of a shape, the PS crashes and closes automatically without fail.

  It's the only time wherever it crashes?  What are your system specs and OS?

  Take a look on your GPU settings in Preferences > performance?  Try the ' use GPU acceleration?  Also look in the advanced settings and try to change those.  If it helps, then look to update your video card manufacturer's Web site card reader.

• Direct Selection tool problem

  

  In the picture you can where theres a blue line, im trying (with the direct Selection tool) to lower the Strait of the horizontal line (by the rose). Normally to ensure that it remains the Detroit I hold down the SHIFT key when you move, but not now when I hold down the SHIFT key now its forces to some crazy angles and the detroit not at all as you can see where his will force too much in the picture.

  Nope the snap to grid of pixels was not enabled. But I found that the wink at the point was on.

• How can I switch to type Korean characters on my laptop keyboard? I tried to add 'Korean' in regions and the language, but not sure he did right b/c still do not work when I hit ALT + SHIFT

  I tried to add 'Korean' in the region and language-> keyboards and languages-> clicked on "change keyboard"-> "Général" tab - > added "Korean", but still do not work when I hit ALT + SHIFT.    what I'm doing wrong or what I need to download special software to enter Korean characters if necessary?

• ALT + SHIFT + DELETE to coding

  I can't find any reference for this but have seen it in action before you know if it is possible.  Does anyone know how to code similar to the Alt + shift + delete shortcut reboot functionality?

• Image recovery after the use of Ctrl-alt-shift-DEL in a collection

  Today a do a really stupid move and accidentally used the Ctrl-alt-shift-del to command to remove 31 images from a Collection (so that what I really wanted to do was remove this particular collection. D'oh!!!! D'oh!!!! Oh !!!)

  (It of on a PC running the Version 6.6.1 LR and earn 10, and I learned the command of a post years ago: Re: ways to 'Remove the lot' )

  I immediately is gone in the trash and found 6 images in there and used the restore from Recycle Bin command and I hope that these were "given".

  Can I ask the following prayer:

  1. If there were only 6 images from the trash, does mean that the other 25 deleted images in the collection were Lr Copies of original RAW files and that therefore the 25 Raw original will always be OK? (I use Copies a little bit, but without a way to check I don't know)  Is it correct to assume that Lr destroyed all Copies for good in this scenario?
  2. Are there any other "recovery protocols" I can try to restore images of 31 'that '?
  3. As of the best way to re - synchronize the 6 files that I restored the trash? Should I use synchronize folders?

  Now, IF I have lost the RAW files (which is my real concern here) I have recent backups and full on external hard drives of all catalogs and all RAW images too which will contain these 'lost' images (if RAW OR just copy), BUT is it a protocol of identification in some way what specific files have been deleted and copy then back ' up' one of the backups I have? (Spirit I don't know which files have been deleted!) I am wary of simply copying all THE catalogs and the Backup Images, because this will cancel the other recent work, I am ideally looking to just put in the articles 'lost' if it's possible?

  1. CTRL-Alt-Shift-Delete Deletes immediately and without a prompt dialog box photos from Lightroom and your hard drive. If they original RAW photos are not in the trash, and then they are not on your computer. The photos are imported is not as your catalog. There is no such thing as "Lr of Copies of original RAW files"
  2. You can try a program called "undelete utility.

  You must copy a recent backup of the file catalog somewhere else (not in the same folder as the backup), and then double-click it to open it. Your changes and the metadata provided by the user are here. Use the command search for the missing files to Lightroom to determine which photos are now missing. Then copy backups of photos you want to the location in your original folder hierarchy that these photos were previously. This should be the photos to be reconnected in Lightroom.

  Hello, I don't think that there is. My suggestion is:

  -divide the form into two parts, so that you can have half of it. To do this, use the direct Selection tool, select the first high point of the page to the right and remove it

  -After you finished your edit, duplicate and mirror of your form. To do this, you can select all your vector illustration with a direct selection tool and press HUMINT + C then Ctrl + V (copy and paste)

  -Drag your new shape on the right and mirrored by using path editing/processing / reflects

  -Drag the shape of your half on the side of the first.

As I belong to art class, when Basic programs have been re-installed we also got the Adobe programs, but we got the CC 2015 version instead of the version CS5, we had earlier. After a stressful week, I finally had time to sit and work on my projects aside, but I quickly found a big problem which stops at my work. After re size the image at the size I want, I don't see the whole picture when I move in the smallest area with the direct Selection tool more. Photos I use are generally quite large, that I've tried to work with now are 451mmx338mm after the scaling down and I have a 'framework of standard departure' to 60mmx15mm (I make the bosses), so now I have basically has to guess my way toward a good composition...

  Can I make it work again?

  Click on the image and hold the pointer of the mouse for a while. And then drag.

  Finally found the problem. Photoshop tool icons have changed. The direct Selection tool has been split into a removal tool (arrow 4 channels) and direct selection tool (arrow).
