Directly convert a negative into a positive on LR5

Hello, there is a way (means) to convert a negative into a positive on LR 5. I did a shoot of a Kodak TX-400 film, and I won't be able to work on the inverted image (positive, therefore). Thank you

This works. Make sure that you are at the Point the curve mode. Drag the ends of the line:

Note that some of the cursors now works in the opposite direction.

  • How can I convert a negative image of the film a positive image in Lightroom 6?

    I've seen a number of online tutorials that explains how you can reverse/return line in the Module development of tone curve by dragging either end of the line, top / bottom for converting a negative to a positive image. This however does not seem possible in LR 6?  So, how are you? (My scanner is able to produce positives TIFF or JPEG of the film I've been scanning, but I would have preferred to edit pictures using Raw DNG files that it produces, which are negative).

    You must click on the small icon in the lower right curved panel to make editing possible.

    If it comes to color film, I don't know how good a conversion that would be, it will certainly color adjustments, because of the orange mask in the negative.

    And a scanner DNG files? I doubt that they will be real raw files...

    You can scan an image tiff with all the cliches and to highlight the present details, and that will be as good as any raw file.

  • Postive cannot convert a negative number in variable

    Hi, I have this variable that I converted from a negative number to positive:
    l_total_offset_amt := ABS(i.amount);
    That the code is running, I want to convert negative:
     DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('l_total_offset_amt '||ABS(l_total_offset_amt));
    However, even by trying this, it is always positive. Why is it so?

    Absolute function always transformed into positive results. The only way to do something negative is multiplied by-1

    for example

     ABS(yourvariable)*-1

  • Are there any tools I can easily and cheaply convert my URL into something more mobile friendly?

    Hello world

    I have a photography website Toronto-photographers specialized Commercial product photography in the product, Food and Drink photography

    I want to be mobile friendly.  I made my website on Dreamweaver.  Are there any tools I can easily convert this URL into something more mobile friendly?  I am panicking because Google will soon make mandatory for web site to be mobile friendly for good SEO positions.

    Thank you!

    PS - I was just add my URL - why Adobe changes the link to the web site title tag?

    It looks like that you created this site a long time ago, because all I see is that it is designed using old tables shaped.  There is nothing wrong in the use of tables, but as you have already acknowledged that Google might start to penalize the people who still use old outdated technology!

    In any case, to solve your problem, you can redesign your site this weekend using bootstrap information which is already available in the current edition of Dreamweaver or you can download the getbootstrap.com zip file to use in the DW 6.  Something about bootstrap, there are many video tutorials on youtube, and I suggest to spend Friday watching those dear to you get started and trust you to know that it is quite simple for the redesign of your site from scratch.  You already have the text and images, and now you just put them in the format 'bootstrap '!

    The videos are:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=gqOEoUR5RHg>

    http://www.newthinktank.com/2015/11/learn-bootstrap-one-video/>

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=3cYWiU_HsgM

    There are other institutions and you just have to watch them to get used to begin.

    Some people use Microsoft Visual Studio (Free Community Edition) to create MVC Web sites, using bootstrap / c# / Razor syntax and it is also something you should know.  MVC stands for Model-View-Controller and MS has released a lot of videos on them as well.  However, this is not necessary, but for the sake of interest I mention here just in case you have interest in web development and all that.

    Good luck.

  • SQL to change the negative number to positive number

    My apologies for the no doubt high 'thick-as-a-Board' nature of my request.

    Is it possible to convert a negative number by a positive value using SQL. I have a report that joins the 2 tables and I want to join the tables on a field 'amount '. Problem, is that in the 1 table QTYs are negative, and in another QTYs are positive. I know that this is in itself is a stupid thing to do, but anyway.

    I was just wondering if there is a simple way to get positive number versions of numbers:
    GET sampledata
    WITH sampledata AS
         (SELECT -345 var_num
            FROM DUAL
          UNION ALL
          SELECT -423423
            FROM DUAL
          UNION ALL
          SELECT -323.5
            FROM DUAL)
    SELECT *
      FROM sampledata;
    Any advice much appreciated.

    Thank you

    If you use the drive, would not be possible because it is not apt software to convert PDF to any other form of file including jpeg.

    You would need either to pack PDF, which is an online service to export PDFS for some file formats, or you would need Acrobat to perform this action.

    Please follow the steps to convert pdf to word.

    Launch Acrobat > open the PDF > navigate to file > export to > Image > Jpeg.

    Hi csb777,

    Do not export ExportPDF and Adobe PDF Pack services to WordPerfect format. But they convert to the RTF Format, so if WordPerfect can open RTF files, you should be set!

  • How can I convert a layer into a group?

    Hello

    I have several layers with sublayers in it. The problem: all the layers (containing sublayers) have been open in the pallet layer on opening the document.

    How can I convert a layer into a group preserving the name? Is there a (semi) approach - automatic to convert all sublayers in groups?

    Thank you

    Konrad

    OK, writing a script was not so difficult as expected.

    So, here's a javascript script to convert a layer into a group:

    /**********************************************************

    DESCRIPTION

    Converts an (Sub)layer into a simple group

    **********************************************************/

    var currentDocument = app.activeDocument; // get current document
    var currentLayer = currentDocument.activeLayer; // get current layer

    var newGroup = currentLayer.parent.groupItems.add(); //add new group into the parrents of the current layer
    newGroup.name = currentLayer.name; //set the same name as for the layer

    for (i=currentLayer.pageItems.length-1; i>=0; i--) // loop thru all items
    {
        var singleItem = currentLayer.pageItems[i]; // get item
        singleItem.move(newGroup,ElementPlacement.PLACEATBEGINNING); // move item to new group
    }
