  This could be a problem with the new features related to the police who are trying to use your graphics card. You can enable those here:

  Tools > Options > advanced > [disable] "use hardware acceleration when available.

  (It's one of the things that turn off safe mode.)

  I don't know if you'll see results immediately, or if you must restart Firefox.

  Hi, I use Win Vista Ultimate 32-bit sp1.  I have KIS2009, A Squared Anti Malware, MalwareBytes Anti Malware installed.  All showing my system is clean.  I ran MSRT analysis to light, and he pointed out that my system is clean also.

  Thanks for your help so far.  I hope you don't mind but today how that spending (hard day @ work) I think I'll leave the installation of repair until tomorrow.  More that likely the disc would have burst in the player, causing a sort of spike power was so my motherboard.  So I think I'll just relax tonight and I hope tomorrow is a day better.  Hope you have a good.

• Error installing junk mail filter KB972691 - how to disable the update?

  Updated to filter out junk e-mail in Outlook 2007 (KB972691) there are a few days that a major update will not install on m ycomputer. No message other than an unknown error code 80070641 and one remains that I still have a significant update to install. Not a major concern if it wasn't for the fact that he's trying to install the update every time I shut down Windows and continues to see messages that I have an important update I should install.

  The junk e-mail filter is not critical for me, so is it possible to disable this update? Since it is a non optional update, I can't hide it by right-clicking the update in the Windows Update window. I tried to download and install the update manually with the same result.

  I am running Vista business and Office 2007 Standard. I've never had problems with the previous updates.

  I went into Control Panel and disabled all the possible options in windows update but my computer is always updated and there is no way once to update to say later update instead it says save what you do because we're not going to update your computer. It is VERY annoying because I use my computer at all hours of the day and won't tell me when to upgrade my computer by turning off my computer and forcing me to update windows. is it possible to disable this option, because if there is not a way to disable the update of windows I have to switch to an OS that has a bit more freedom, then this OS.
