Disable "auto-eject" LR CC

I searched the Forum and have not found a good answer.  When you use Lightroom CC, the memory card after auto-éjecte that import everything.  It is a pain because I often have a few different sets of photos I want to import with different parameters, collection, keywords, etc..  Now I have to remove the card and back up, sometimes 6 or 7 times, to bring them all in.  WTH Adobe, where the option to disable auto eject?  Any help would be first, thank you!

What is the purpose of mobile printing solutions if you cannot activate your home printer?
My printer stop automatically after 8 hours of inactivity and therefore makes it impossible for me to use mobile printing. The printer is connected via WLAN (without active ports to stop the closing).
In the configuration, there are only options to stop after 2, 4 or 8 hours. No option on disabling of automatic shutdown.
Pls do that for the people who work on the firmware updates, they must include an option to disable auto power off, many people are already complaining that and nothing has changed so far.
Its just illogical. You make big announcements for HP eprint and other stuff, but your printers are not able to do so even if you could theoretically make eprint if your standing next to your printer all day.
I just got this printer pluged and installed and already tired of this BS!
I know that there is no solution, so just send it to the people who can change it.

for all of you who read this post, I was in contact with the technical team of HP and they said that they don't give you the ability to disable auto power off on purpose, it is HPs energy-economy-policy to do and there are no plans to change this in the future
in my case, I only WLAN's, yet is not automatically stop (although it should be), I guess I'm lucky that my router it ping every now and then and is therefore not stop
If you can't fix it yourself with active ports and may not have at all, it will probably not option left than the back of the printer

  • I can not disable auto-complete on the address bar.

I'm trying to disable auto-compelete address bar on Firefox 4. I know it was on settings-> privacy and it's still there. However it does not matter if I change it to "don't remember anything." When I return to the settings or that you try to type something, my favorites are still visible.

Why I can't change this particular configuration? Others work very well well

  • Canon IJ printer utility - disable auto power off

The manual on my new printer MG2420 says I can "Disable Auto Power Off" of the power settings in the 'IJ Printer Utility'.  However, I have not an IJ Printer Utility in my Canon Utilities downloaded via a Mac driver.  Where is it, or if not, how can disable power off?  I want all the time.  Otherwise, the printer works perfectly.

OK, no answers so I'll answer I am since I finally figured it.  On a Mac, go to "System Preferences" and click on "Printers & Scanners".  Then click on "Options and supplies."  Then click on "utility".  Then change the "cleansing" in "power settings".

Then click on 'Auto Power'.  Then click on "Auto Power On" and "turn off".  Finally click 'done '.

Of course, the Canon online manual is silent on this.

  • 7520 photosmart all in one. How to disable auto clean print head

I have the HP Photosmart 7520 and I am running Windows 7. How can I disable auto cleaning feature print head?

Using function Thi my ink so that I am not the same impression.

    Hello

To answer your question, unfortunately you can not disable this function where the print head will not clean itself. The printer is made to do to keep the printhead to collect ink on the inside contacts.

I hope that answers your questions.

  • Disable auto-fill in the dialog box find and replace?

Apparently, this question was not asked before, or at least the Adobe search engine can not find 'Find replace' in the forums. Is it possible to disable auto-fill "characteristic" in the find and Replace dialog box? I think it's dangerous. Find and replace in a coding environment must be very deliberate. Caught off guard, more than once, with attempts to Dreamweaver to do my thinking for me. Thanks for any help!

Oh without a doubt the fault is mine. Last minute search / replacement of a site, by request of the customer. (No matter WHAT last-minute editing is not asking, it's begging, in trouble, but it is also real life.) Still, I can't blame anywhere but with yours truly, but it would be nice if Dreamweaver offers the opportunity to help to protect me from myself, somehow.

  • Auto Eject not available after last Lightroom update [was: Auto Eject]

I was under the impression that Adobe restored to the 'old way' import process with this last update... and for the most part, it seems to be so.  The update/reversion does not seem to include a way to auto eject SD cards however.  Am I missing something?

It is on the same place where he was in the last window of import at the top left

but it is only visible when you insert your card.

    Check your operating system settings.

  • disable auto-pile

Can I turn off auto-empilement in LR?

By default, LR seems photos auto-pile with the same time stamp.

Because a number of old photos that I imported into LR have the same time they are all piled up.

However, the timestamps are inaccurate and photos have nothing in common, which would justify their stacking.

Is it possible to cut an automatic stacking all together?

I put the function auto-pile to stack pictures including the time between capture only is 0:00. However, because a large number of my old photos have the same time stamp they are all included in this setting and are therefore stacked.

    If I can't disable auto-empilage:

is it possible to apply it only to the future or

can I see all of the photos are stacked in the library and then select all for unstacking?

    ralphsomma wrote:

I believe that the automatic stacking can be manually applied, so no need to "turn off" anything. You may have inadvertently applied auto-pile to a group of image files.

    ralphsomma wrote:

In the left panel of the library module slot, click "All photographs" catalog, select ALL ' (CTRL + A) and go to Photo > stacking > Unstack.

  • The disadvantages to disable auto-start application for CC?

With Dropbox, creative cloud, my AV program and still more things, my laptop takes forever to start. so I disabled most of the programs in the Task Manager auto-start options. I was wondering, are there downsides to that creative cloud program starts not with Windows? I knoe I'll start when I intend to use Typekit Fonts and only in this way, it won't automatically check updates. But apart from that, is there something that I should now before you disable auto-start for the application of CC?

Nothing to consider since you already know the functions online. As a noisy fan he has hurt to turn it off.

  • Disable auto it day/Adobe Application Manager

There is no forum for it - I use Illustrator and Photoshop CS6 non - CC on macbook pro running 10.8.5 or 10.9.2. I would not like to AAM search updates in the background, but initiate the * search * for updates manually. The reason is that I live a little off the grid and pay a lot per minute and MAO kept the internet connection open all night, even if the browser said it was closed.

I found only instructions for CS5:

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Creative-Suite/KB/disable-auto-updates-Application-Manager.html

It works for CS6 Similarly? I'm not a system administrator, but I can replace the AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat file. (and keep the original else where)

    Thank you.

Edit: why the heck adobe insists on the display of my real name in a public forum, when she asks me to do first a screen name. There is no forum to make this, I guess.

well I'll go ask the question in the wrong forum instead of the very bad forum. No offense.

  • Disable auto-start for CF8 on Leopard

I installed ColdFusion 8.0.1 (multiserver) on OS 10.5.2 and chose to start when the system starts. I want to be able to stop ColdFusion and disable auto-start if I need in the future. I downloaded several times, but I don't know what inputs to be used repeatedly for ColdFusion (or even if I have to use Lingon at all). Can someone tell me how to control if ColdFusion starts at startup and how to manually stop ColdFusion on Leopard? Thank you!

UPDATE: I found, I can stop ColdFusion using the "ColdFusion Launcher" in the JRun4 folder, but I have not yet found a way to keep ColdFusion from starting when the system boots. I tried to uninstall ColdFusion and then re - install and de-selection of the option to start ColdFusion when the system starts, but ColdFusion is still running at startup. I see no Lignon launchd config and nothing in the login items, so I don't know how ColdFusion is underway (and how to stop it).

    Hello
You can go ahead and remove the boot file located in/Library/StartupItems/ColdFusion8Multi (for multiserver) and/Library/StartupItems/ColdFusion8 (for independent). This should solve your problem.

    Thank you

  • How to disable auto-open Photo in 10.11.6 on my Mac OS

How stop 'Photo' of Apple auto-ouvrir is when I plug in my SD card?

For years, I used Apple, 'Image Capture' for quick editing of 'keepers' on my SD cards before going on lightroom (opportunity to Aperture, but Apple killed the trust with the lack of support, I have no idea why?).

There, whenever I inserted the SD card in the reader that everything came to a rhythm grindingly slow until the 'Photo' of Apple program opened, about three months 'Image Capture' does not open to Apple, 'Photo' open, a very slow and boring process. I use Apple don't, 'Photo' for anything, it is slow to open, offers little flexibility or range.

In the useful days in iPhoto it's simple, opens the preferences and activated the feature or off - simple, useful and smart. Now Apple 'Photo' it is impossible to turn the feature on or off, why? More compatibility between devices means automatically less flexibility and control by our users?

If anyone can help, I'd be appreciated or please let me know if anything can be done to stop 'Photo' program from Apple Aperture!

If nothing can be done, I have none chose to 'Photo' in the garbage and remove it so that I can work with my photos how I don't choose Apple, the method "no choice."

Moreover, WHY the renaming iPhoto to Photo? Photo is ubiquitous at least "iPhoto" was clear when I ask for help "iPhoto" everybody know what I mean. When I ask for help with 'Photo' person doesn't know what I'm talking about because it is non-specific, it is a change that confuses just being rather then useful, once again, why?

    My Mac:

    Material: 24 "early 2009, 3.06 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Software: Photo v 1.5 running on OS v10.11.6

When you put the SD card, then open photos, you see something else in this little window in the upper part of the display of Photos? I usually see a check-box something like "Open Photos when the camera is connected. If you check that out voltage, next time you put into the card SD, pictures should not open. (Just be glad that your computer is to see SD cards. I need to restart my iMac so he could read an SD card).

I don't think that there is a way to disable this function for each device - you must disable for all cameras / iPhone / iPad, so any time, I connect a new device, I need to go through it again.

On the 'Photos' name instead of "iPhoto": Yes, I agree it's annoying. I sent your comments and you can do the same thing, but I doubt it will help. Using "Mac Photos" or "Pictures of MacOS" can help with research, but it's always a pain.

  • Disable auto correct?

It is very frustrating when the automatic correction becomes "mit" "MIT" because AutoCorrect is programmed to capitalize "mit" abbreviation of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and becomes "Bis Freitag" to "Bus freitag. I would like to disable the automatic fix, at least a few times, but I don't see any setting to turn it off. Is this possible?

    Thank you.

    Jim_Auricman wrote:

I also have English (United States) selected, but I see no mention of the Google keyboard anywhere under settings.

Do you think the HP Slate 7 is originally the AutoCorrect? Have you seen the same correction that I made which "mit" is replaced by "MIT"?

Thanks again for your efforts. BTW, I really enjoy seen 7 Slate. This AutoCorrect is a minor annoyance.

    Jim

I saw the change of the mit at the MIT, but I fixed that with the solution that I have already mentioned adding words from the dictionary. In my view, that android is originally the AutoCorrect.

Another discovery - "Google keyboard" was apparently a download that I installed from the game store, not an application preinstalled on the Slate7.  Try to download and install this application and see if you can deselect Auto Correct.

We will get this problem fixed!
