  I have the same problem, the RAID controller is not recognized by one of the distributions of linux in circulation, and so the hard drive is not recognized, so the linux installation is not possible. I tried FC7 and SUSE9. Due to the demands of work, I need to install FC7.

  If there is no driver available for linux, it is possible to disable the RAID controller on the laptop? If so, is that someone could put a guide of how do, or send me to a good link on the subject?

• OBI11g Installation: Could not open the MS; Failed to start JavaHost

  I have installated OBI11g recently and it worked perfectly on the day of installation. However, the next day when I rebooted my system and tried starting the services, I could no longer open 'EM. The Weblogic Console was working again fine. Verified on the Console (under deployments) and he has been showing EM failure as well as a few others (like biadminservices, biadminutils, emai, emas, emcore and NONJ2EEManagement)

  Well the answer to your question is that Windows 7 is not supported for the installation of OBIEE 11g.

  If you have a laptop Windows 7, I suggest you to install an operating system Linux Oracle using VirtualBox guest VM on your computer. How you could then install OBIEE 11 g on the Linux guest OS VM running on your laptop. Then, you can install the client tools of Oracle 11 g on your Windows 7 laptop host as client tools are supported on Windows 7 OS.

  Now, which should point you in the right direction, then please give points for a correct answer.

• Qosmio F10: Driver Installation does not detect the wireless network card

  I wonder if anyone can help before I phone supported again. My motherboard is dead and ASP replaced and recovered my laptop qosmio F10. Since having back, my wireless card did not work.

  Windows detects a "network controller" whenever it starts and gives me the opportunity to install it. I tried to install it by navigating in the 'tools and utilities' records CD rom for folders and subfolders of "Wireless network driver" and it still does not detect the card.

  I also tried to install using the cd rom web gui and selected the 'Pilot wireless network' link and then tried to install it. It opens a dos command prompt and try to install but comes up with the error "failed installation.

  I ran the customer service and they told me to run the qosmio recovery/then recovery of product/recovery of qosmio and again...

  I still don't the card wireless not yet installed. This happened to someone else?

  I tried already shot the drivers from the web, but with no luck... If a representative of customer service with the help of good technical knowledge that would be great, or if someone has encountered the problem too and he had fixed to the give me some advice...

• installation does not see the printer when I plug

  I have a printer HP LaserJet, 1006 running on a Windows XP 32 - bit attached to a USB1 port system. I have no USB2 ports. The printer works fine, but the drivers are up to date. I downloaded the file (hp_LJ_P1005_P1505_Full_Solution_ROW.exe) and when I run it, and it gets to the point where it tells me to connect my printer, I plug in and turn on and nothing happens. Apparently the installer does not see when I turn on my printer. The problem would be that it is plugged into the port of USB1 and if so what do about it?

  Sorry must have misread your first message.  Before trying to reinstall the software, make sure that the printer and the old software is uninstalled.  The installer can be easily confused by older facilities, in order to ensure that those who are cleaned before installing the latest orders.  Hope that helps.

  I have W7 Home Premium edition. I have two toolbars that point to folders on my C:-one is for game shortcuts, others simply utility/program shortcuts. Two toolbars are in my taskbar. I have a chance of 3 to 7 of them whenever I connect and turn it back on in the process of disappearance, or start. Files and links that are always there, because to add toolbars when I connect, I just have to say new-> toolbar-> then select the two that I have created as they always appear in the list of available items to use for a toolbar. Curiously, they are retained at the bottom of the list. Once I have added to them, they stay there for the duration of my login. I have a draw, although whenever I connected to see whether or not they will be there. Someone please see that! It's VERY embarrassing.

  This happens to me ALL THE TIME! However, not ALL the time, but often enough that it annoys the _ living out of me. I can't find a solution to this either. Could someone please provide some guidance?

  I suggest you to lock the taskbar after the toolbar to add and check.
   
  You can also try to pin these exe file of programs to the taskbar and check if this help. So that you can open it quickly and conveniently, rather than look for the program in the start menu.

  You can check if that helps with anything. There is always an animation flash on the home page, and it worked fine. A few days ago, I replaced with a new movie and a .swf added to the portfolio page. On the portfolio page, the film is placed behind a series of transparent png linked to their corresponding designations of the lightbox. The film plays just, it is not any interaction this way, at least not in flash.

  The problem: everything works perfectly well locally on all browsers and not at all on the server in all browsers. I have seen this problem before and read a lot of posts about it. I know that I have the proper script files. I re-recorded the flash movies, changed their location within the site, published with the appropriate settings, nothing seems to do the trick. Whats is worse that the lightbox does not yet online and it works very well on site. Infact you can't even click on the png and they are not the same thing with css positioned as they are displayed on site. I crushed the css with the stylesheet to update several times as well.

  It is maybe a problem of html/css as well. I was frustrated and wanted to see if anyone could identify a source of problem based on the site or this post. I appreciate all those who want to help.

  Follow these steps and check if that helps.

  (a) click Start and type area and the language in the search bar and press to enter.

  (b) go to keyboards and languages tab.

  (c) click on change keyboards.

  (d) now, click Add.

  (e) now under any input language, you have chosen who find and choose keyboard.

  (f) ensure that all options are listed.

  (g) if there is a check mark in the United States remove it and place a check next to the language and click Ok.

  (h) now you can check cross if the preview shows you the correct layout.

  The old toolbar at the top is now gone. I lost the print, preview mode although there are another way to print. I can't use bookmarks because it allows me to not put the bookmark in the right place. It is not an improvement; It is a net loss, and it's huge.

  Have you recently used refresh? Which will make your toolbars reset to the default values, but you can certainly customize again.

  Menu bar

• Navigator.notification works is not in the browser

  I tried a simple PhoneGap application that uses the Notification API, but it does not display the dialogs at all. I have yet an Android phone adapted to test, so I'm just using the browser. For now, when the page is loaded, the application must display a confirmation dialog with 2 buttons, which produce vibration and beep, respectively.

  It depends on if you're going the hard way using the CLI or the stressless with Phonegap Build construction. Since this is the general forum of Phonegap, I assume you are using the CLI.

  In this case:

  -you need to add the plugin to npm

  -You must have a reference to cordova.js

  -you have to wait for deviceready to the fire before using the plugin

  Apparently, you did at least the second and third place, otherwise deviceready would not have fired and yu would not have had your alert. So far so good.

  See if the "cordova-plugin-dialog" plugin is installed:

  "Always looks like a problem of path for me. For review:

  Path problems

  Almost always, when it works on the local computer and not by the server, it's a path problem.
  You can put your related Flash files into whatever the desired files, they don't have to be at the root, they are NOT all in the same folder. But if you have a problem and their stick it all in the works of root folder, and then, you know that the question was a path problem.
  Remember that used paths in the .swf is compared to the Web page on which is placed the .swf, NOT it's physical location.  Thus, for example, that if your .swf is located in the flash/data folder and you use .swf on a Web page in the root folder, you are in effect, remove this data/flash .swf and put them in the root. So if the .swf is responsible for all associated files (xml, images, video, etc.), the path used inside the .swf to load the .xml file must be compared to its new location in the root and then go back to flash/data. This is true even if when you test the .swf by itself, it can be inside the flash/data and work very well, as compared to its location, the path is very good, they are in the same folder. But if this same path is used when the .swf is placed on a folder page level two upward, the relative path has changed, the old "same folder" path will not work.

  In fact if you place the .swf on a web page in a different folder as the .swf is stored in, and that .swf called foreign assets, then heading by clicking on and open the .swf in his file should NOT work! This is because the paths to the external assets must be relative to the Web page and not the physical location of the .swf.

  If it works on the server but not on the spot, may be a local computer security problem. Sometimes there are problems of security on the local computer during the trial of all the Flash files that include any code that tries to establish an Internet connection, (even if it's to get the logo .gif Adobe used in the code "Download the latest version here").

  So I can't exactly tell what your particular problem, but my guess is that this is a security issue or there is something else that you missed and did not mention that is causing problems.
