Disable DualView on calls to parties outside on VCS ExpressWay

Just came across the problem of not being able to receive video streams in the intervening call external by its IP address.

After some research, I discovered that our SDP has two video streams and third-party remote does not support the video double and takes the second video stream as a destination, with resulting no video receiver.

Any way to prevent this?

It is of all the endpoints or only some? Think that I once heard some SDP problem in TC, then maybe an upgrade to TC5.1.4 could be useful to give a try.

If this did not help, maybe the remote site is defective, so they should focus on the upgrade as well.

If his critics, ask them to use the free jabber client to cisco, then at least they can talk to your organization

via a computer in video :-)

There is also capacity limit endpoint outgoing calls for them.

Have you tried to return call so they switched you, sometimes the changes of behaviour as well.

What are compose you a live endpoint or some kind of infrastructure? As you write sdp it sounds like sip,

They also support h323 (composition for sip ip is not that common, at least for the world of the video-conference).

It should be possible to define an area neigbor for this IP with the custom zone profile and set the duo filter mode on

(and also the bfcp one mybe) + a search rule hit this area.

  • VCS Expressway outside to endpoints internal call

    I have a new implementation where internal control 1 to VCS in LAN and VCS Expressway in DMZ 1.

    VCS Expressway has an IP public address/NAT.

    Currently, we have a group of VC endpoint, each endpoint has a public IP/NAT to the local network, to allow internet to make H.323 call directly by public IP address of the composition of the endpoint.

    My question is, after having implemented VCS Expressway in DMZ, how do the numbering plan at each endpoint internal VCS Highway outside call? Do I still need to give to each endpoint an ip/NAT publich.

    Thank you very much.

    A much simpler and in my opinion, more elegant and more scalable solution would be not to use IP addresses for calls, but to allocate and register outcomes with E.164 alias. That way you all you need is the internal IP address.

    So the outer ends may, in this case, call your settings using the [email protected] / * / or [email protected] / * /-E_IP_address.

    Internal assessment criteria can call each other using alias only for as long you have the rules of research in place, and cannot therefore have the external ends you will allow to record with you VCS-E for one reason or another.

    If you have the outcomes of Polycom external with the old version of the software that does not support Annex O URI component, then it's very simple to include a transformation of prior research on the VCS-E which will allow these settings call using owners 'numbering URI "; VCS-E_IP_address ##Alias - and if you, on the odd occasion, a final point which cannot use anything other than IP addresses, you can configure the alias of relief on the VCS-E to point to a specific or a standard automatic on a MCU, purpose etc.

    A dial plan using as above will also allow you to use DHCP addresses, the alias remains static, and that's what counts, addresses much simpler to give to people. e.g. 123456 is much easier to remember than 202.138.98.23 etc, not to mention the IPv6 addresses, and because you save your settings with domain name, and then customers SIP will also be able to connect very easily.

  • How to disable the feature CALL SOS?

    I've just updated to iOS 10 and 3 watch OS, but I can't find how to disable the feature of emergency SOS on my Apple Watch.

    I thought it would be a good feature for me so I turned it on, but my fingers are clumsy, so I struck the wrong cursor when I turned off my watch and accidentally, I called 911. I've disabled "Stick to Auto Call" and deleted all my contacts SOS in general in the application to watch on my iPhone and I restarted the iPhone and the Apple Watch, but emergency SOS still shows on my watch when I want to turn off my watch.

    I think that before I turned emergency SOS, I saw "Power Reserve" under the "Power Off". I read that once you turn Hold for Auto call in the app shows and then turn off, the cursor of SOS emergency will always be displayed when you turn off the watch.

    How can I disable the cursor of emergency SOS when I turn off my Apple Watch? Can I use Reset under general, or désapparier my watch and pair again? I don't want to do that, because it would take a lot of time to get all my settings that I want them to be.

    Hello

    I'm not aware of any option settings to remove the emergency SOS cursor in the menu that appears on pressing them and holding the button.

    If you want Apple to consider adding an option to disable the feature, you can submit a request here:

  • Disabling settings rate call MX 300

    Hi all

    We recently purchased some end points of Cisco MX300 G2 (registered in the VCS). Endpoints are running software version TC7.3.4.e4daf54. The question I have is with respect to disable settings 'Rate to call' user interface all in composition. I looked around one I am unable to find an answer to this. Basically I want to lock without giving the user an option to change the rate of calls etc.

    Someone has all the ideas/help!

    Thank you all

    Navin

    You can set the call rate by default which will use the new calls, it is not possible to lock the rate of calls to a specific setting and prevent it from being editable if the user wants.

    If there is a feature you want, suggest that you only contact your account manager, they can create a feature request for you.

    Hello

    I have a 2821 router that is connected to a SIP trunk.  This router also has a PRI interface that is connected to a PBX Mitel.  The Mitel used the router has a primary connection to the PSTN.

    The Mitel will send the party call number most of the time, but sometimes it isn't.  All calls that are sent to the SIP provider without a party call number are deleted.  I don't know if can substitute part number calling using the command in clid on the Dáil peer, however is it possible only override the calling party number if I do not get one of the Mitel?  He got a number of appeal left like a DID I want to pass along in the SIP call.

    Thank you.

    You should be able to do it with a voice translation rule that matches an empty ANI.
    30rule translation-rule voice 1 / ^ $\+631689\(...\) / / 01689\1/rule 2 / ^ $/ /555666777/
    translation-profile PSTN-OUTtranslate of the voice calling 30

    First rule to match a real number to a PBX, to adapt according to your needs. The second rule matches a null value and changes to 555666777, who adapt to what you would like to send to your phone company.

  • How to disable the ICS service DHCP part

    Hello

    I have ICS, and I need it from time to time

    How can I disable the DHCP server part?

    Hi John,.

    I want to tell you that you can get IE to use a different range. However, there is a configuration unsupported, not tested or proposed by Microsoft. It could cause problems of network on the host, so make a System Restore point before you do.

    Steps to follow:

    a. temporarily assign a static IP address to the network connection
    want to share using an address that is not in the 192.168.0.x.

    b. turn on ICS on this network connection.

    c. manually change the IP address of the connection to the local network (home network)
    to a different subnet, as 192.168.1.x.

    d. restoration of the IP address that is appropriate for the shared network connection.

    This unsupported configuration will automatically deactivate the DHCP server that normally runs on the ICS host computer. You will need to assign static IP addresses for all ICS clients.

  • How to disable the strokes on select parts of an object

    I want to eliminate the race three lines that was used to connect the profile of the object of the mountain. I really hope that the appearance of the race is not that it is all or nothing for an object. The only workaround that I can think of is to put a rectangle on each of the three full lines of white and no line, but then it will be a problem for printing when I need a transparent background.

    Torres del Paine training Logo-17.jpg

    Thank you

    It is not possible to remove a line partially of any object. A STROKE is around all the lines of an object.

    What you can do:

    1. remove the trait of the whole object.
    2. Copy this object without the hidden content (do it with the direct Selection tool)
    3. Paste in front (cmd/ctrl + F).
    4. Apply the stroke
    5. Delete the parts where you don't want to see the race.

    Only with painting groups, it would be possible to apply features partially, but painting groups are unable to hide something else.

  • Call to function outside the scope of the scene

    So that it won't be easy for me to call a hideNav() function, I put the function away from the scene. You can see the end of the closing of the step below, followed by the different things that do not work I tried. Suggestions are welcome. The alert goes off well, so this is a problem with the address button to return to the main timeline.

    ... script here staged stuff

    (}) ('step');

    End of edge symbol: "internship."

    If you do not understand a concept, put all the words you know in a random order and see if something happens - but is not

    function hideNav() {}

    Alert ("Hide");

    sym.getComposition () .getStage ().getSymbol("back").hide ();

    sym.getComposition () .getStage ().$("back").hide ();

    SYM.$("stage").backButton.hide ();

    sym.getSymbol("back").hide ();

    sym.getParentSymbol ().getSymbol("back").hide ();

    backButton.hide ();

    SYM.$("back"). Hide();

    }

    PS, yes I tried one at a time. It's just a compilation of my greatest success.

    Here's an example of use of the scene to call the symbol 'back', but also another symbol calling symbol "return":

    Edge symbol: "internship."

    (function (symbolName) {}

    Symbol.bindElementAction (compId, NomSymbole, 'document', 'compositionReady', function (sym, e) {})

    If you want a shortcut method

    sym.hideNav = function() {}

    sym.getSymbol("back").hideNav ();

    }

    });

    End of binding edge

    (}) ('step');

    End of edge symbol: "internship."

    //=========================================================

    Edge symbol: «back»

    (function (symbolName) {}

    Symbol.bindSymbolAction (compId, NomSymbole, "creationComplete", function (sym, e) {})

    sym.showNav = function() {}

    do things

    Console.log ('showing');

    }

    sym.hideNav = function() {}

    do things

    Console.log ('hiding');

    }

    });

    End of binding edge

    (}) ("back");

    End of edge symbol: «back»

    //=========================================================

    Symbol of border: 'something_else '.

    (function (symbolName) {}

    Symbol.bindSymbolAction (compId, NomSymbole, "creationComplete", function (sym, e) {})

    This is an example of another symbol using two methods to talk about «back»

    var point = sym.getComposition () .getStage ();

    method 1 (calls the method on the stage, which calls the method on the symbol)

    stage.hideNav ();

    method 2 (directly calls the method on the symbol)

    stage.getSymbol('back').hideNav ();

    });

    End of binding edge

    (}) ("something_else");

    End of symbol of border: 'something_else '.

  • Properties in portfolio Acrobat (disable the copy of the parts of text)

    I'm working with Acrobat Pro 9.4.0.195 (German).

    I created a portfolio containing PDF files (not security settings).

    Then, I opened the portfolio of properties and set elements as follows:

    -compatible with Acrobat 7 and newer

    -encrypt the content completely

    -no password

    -restrict access

    -unauthorized printing

    -unauthorized changes

    -copy has NOT not allowed!

    -unauthorized access of visually disabled

    However, independent on the correct settings it is possible to mark the text and copy text on any PDF included.

    There seems to be a bug sto. Can anyone confirm this?

    image002.png

    image001.png

    In the technical sense, a PDF portfolio is a document of one page (the cover sheet) with a series of attachments. Fixing 'portfolio' secures only this single page file, and it is the correct interpretation of the behavior tool based on what he does to any other PDF file.

    Portfolios can have almost anything as documents of members, including the non-fichiers PDF and PDFs secured previously, so recursing of any policy level of permissions to members is not possible - there are too many exceptions to deal with. The most effective way to create a portfolio with a large number of PDF files, which each need for security, is to batch files and apply a security policy to each of them * before * adding them to the portfolio.

    The process has not changed in Acrobat X.

  • Call a movieclip outside of a movieClip.

    I have this movieClip in the main timeline, I want to order while I'm inside a certain movieClip. Is this possible?

    Yes.  There are two ways of doing things.  The least difficult would probably be to target the object of main timeline to help: MovieClip (root) .objectName

    If this is not clear and you can provide an idea of the type of control you want, it might be easier to provide an example of using this approach.

    Another approach is to have the main script an event listener assigned to the secondary object to have and to have just this secondary object dispatches an event to this listener.  The event handler for this listener function would be also in the main scenario, in order to target the object main timeline would simply require using its instance name.
