Disable dv6 and HP Pavilion system

Long story short:

My friend borrowed my old laptop. Results: now that the laptop asks "password or power on password. After three (in default) tent it says 'Disable the system' and ' Key: 93094917 ".". Operating system is Windows 7 32 - bit and, as the title suggests, the laptop itself is HP Pavilion dv6.

So, what can I do? I don't want to lose all the data stored on this laptop. Thanks in advance.

Hi - my HP Pavilion dv6-3103sa has recently developed a fault.

It lights up with the power cable connected to it.  So that the laptop starts I have to first remove the power cable.

Similarly, before you turn off the laptop, I need to unplug the power cable.

If I leave it plugged in and turn off the machine, I can't start at all. The solution is to remove the power cable and the battery, then replace the battery only and then turn on the machine.

I also noticed that with the removed battery and the power cable is connected, the laptop does not start again.

Watching the light next to the power cord plug when plugged in the cable it quickly flashes of white, to orange, then back - tell me no power isn't learning laptop in this State.

I also tried a different power supply with the same intensity from a mobile phone of similar work with the same results.

    Please notify.

    @ScatchyMonkey,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  The problem you are having is with the motherboard.  There is a part that regulates the power and allows the system to know if it is connected or not connected and if it failed, you will need to have it sent repair.  Here is the link that will help you communicate with the correct service.

    Contact HP support.

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

  • How to disable 'Hit and run' on Toshiba Satellite

I can't find the touch and launch on my Satellite. I think it is boring.

I have it disabled, but he insists on the execution of a task in the system tray telling me that he's disabled.

I like a tidy taskbar neat without unnecessary icons, and this alert is annoying as well.

Is there a way to touch and launch stop running this alert in my taskbar (Windows XP)?

As mentioned, system controls cannot be customized, because they depend on the windows theme. However, here are some Boolean values, so all you need to do is use an ordinary Boolean value and import the graphics that you want in the case of true and false. They can easily be made to look like an oversized check box. More details, especially about radio buttons can be found here.

You could probably do it in edit mode programmatically by using scripts. You can't do it at run time.

To fill a RadioButton with new Boolean values, you can simply drag the new values Boolean inside or even shift-do drag an item to create a copy of it. Don't forget to change the labels to something intuitive.

  • in the output log file bit 00's are added, why? (Do not run the attached vi. It disables all devices in your system)

    Hi all

I've attached a zip file when co-existence.vi is the main file of vi that communicates with a USB device and returns some responses of ATR.

The answers are stored in a log file. I have attached the log file. In the log file in three places while displaying ATR, get added some unwanted 00's. Please help me how it is and how to remove it?

    Thank you

    Mathan

[Note: (not to run the attached vi.] It disables all devices in your system)].

It seems that the duration depends on the value you get out of the dll (dwARTLen). You have wired it as 100, so it seems that the dll simply returns the entry. Maybe you want to check the documentation for the dll on the way to get the actual length.

A large part of your code is very confusing...

    • You have several subVIs that are essentially the same, but with different names. Not one of these not enough?
    • What is the purpose of the loop IN the adhc.vi? Since you autoindex in a table of a line, it will be executed only once, and the result is the same as if you would remove the loop FOR.
    • Your main VI is extremely repetitive with lots of duplicate code. You have 12 instances of the file name constant, would be enough! Enable.VI is identical to disable.vi, except for a constant of diagram. Much the same constant string ("ATR: ', ' peripheral access card:", etc. "), once again, everyone is enough.

Here a nice state machine would make all the difference.  You need only about 10% of the current code, eliminating all the rehearsals.

  • Want to 17j-111-sl: recovery failed - your account has been disabled. Please contact your system administrator-

    Hello world

I really hope you can help me because I'm running out of option...

First of all, sorry for all the mistakes possible, I'll do, English is not my first language.

My Hp envy 17-j111sl gave me hard times, crashing while playing the game online using firefox playerwith unity3d.

Although I have day all, I had another BSOD while playing.

In addition, the laptop is drammatically slow at startup... I mean it took 16-20 minutes to boot successfully.

For this reason, I tried to restore using HP Recovery Manager to restore the laptop computer and the operating system.

The process did not went well. I was a report that said "detect an error in the PININST_BBV" and "critical error condition has been detected to BBV1."

At this point, I had to restart the laptopt, but I can not connect because "my account has been disabled. Please contact administrator. There is no one else on the laptop, just me, the administrator. I set a password when I used the laptop for the first time, but now he don't ask me the password. I just can not simply open a session, with no other options.

Unfortunately, I don't have the recovery disc, so I checked on the website if they were available, but nothing...

If I press "ESC" at the beginning, then click on "recovery" it always does the same thing... I click on "Administrator" and the message "your account has been disapled".

The laptop was supplied with W8.1

    Please, clues? I'm really worried

Computer was hijacked yesterday with "XP security alert" want to pay me to analysis and clean. Knew it was funny. Managed to get rid of the virus (in appearance) and did a system restore. Since then, have been opening several programs such as anti-virus, security, most of the elements in the Panel of control etc. Always can access internet, but only through IE and Mozilla not. Cannot open Outlook Express and need to connect to the sky for e-mail. Impossible to download and run programs as computer application which program I use to open or run the said downloads.  Help!

It would seem that your registry database has been changed in order to disable the functioning of all. EXE file. You need to restore it, but cannot use regedit.exe to do. Solution: make a copy of the regedit.exe regedit.comappointed.

Open a command prompt by typing the Windows key + R and type cmd then hit . Type in this commnd:

    copy c:\windows\regedit.exe regedit.com

... and click on . Next type:

    Start regedit.com

    ... and click on .

In the RegEdit program, navigate to the registry:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command

In the right pane, double-click the (default) value. Delete the current value data, and then type:

    "%1" %*

    (i.e.: quote-percent-one-quote-space-percent-asterisk)

Close the Regedit utility. Your. EXE files must be start normally now. If the problem persists, or redone surface shortly after this procedure, your computer is still infected. In any event, the execution of full scans with MalwareBytes and your own virus anyti is recommended.

The complete procedure (for XP) is detailed here.

  • Hiding HP ENVY 15 t-j000 Quad Edition w/SSD and hybrid propulsion system. Swap disk for one SSD Question.

    Hi all!

I bought the HP ENVY 15 t-j000 Quad Edition and opted for the WSSD 24Go cache as well as the hybrid drive 1 TB. Do I have a problem just buy a kit of cloning and spend the hybrid propulsion system to a full on SSD in the future if I choose to?

I did some research but I can't isolate an answer if yes or no I might encounter problems on account of the Intel RST be "associated" with the traditional HARD drive caching.

So I wonder if I can't just simply disable acceleration of RST, clone HARD drive for an SSD via a cloning kit, remove the HARD and the SSD drive and call it a day?

Any help with this is appreciated!

    Purgingomen wrote:

Thanks for the info but I was even more so, I was wondering if I would have a problem Exchange with a new SSD hybrid drive later by cloning.

I thought that I would stick with the 8 GB of RAM and WSSD combo of cache/HDD for now and sometimes down the line (as in a year or two) to get rid of the HARD drive for a full on SSD, disable caching and at the same time move to 16 GB of RAM.

But I don't know if yes or no the WSSD cache/HDD combo makes it difficult to clone and swap the HARD drive and then just leave the disc of "cache" of 24 gigas (which is more a cache drive) there to be upgraded later.

    -Rob

Well, I think a pure 2.5 "SSD should work on the system but make sure the cache is removed. For the purposes of cloning, I suggest using the DD command:

  • Message AC adapter on some units of dv6 and dv7 AMD

If you have recently purchased a HP Pavilion dv6 - 6 c 00 Entertainment Notebook or a HP Pavilion dv7 - 6 c 00 Entertainment Notebook, you see a message that says that you need to plug in an adapter to power sector higher for maximum performance.

These units are provided with, and use a 65 Watt AC adapter that is right for your device.

To solve the problem with the message coming up please download & install the latest version of the BIOS (f.17 or higher) of HP.com

You can do this in two ways:

    1. Go to HP.com, click on Support & drivers.

Enter your model number or product number Note: it is important that you enter the model number right or product to the product you have purchased. Here is a link to a document online if you need assistance or conclusive.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00033108

After you enter the model number or product & select "search".

Choose the 64-bit Microsoft Windows 7 & Select next option

Scroll to the BIOS section and verify that this is the version of the BIOS F.17 or higher, then download & after downloading select install and follow the instructions.

    2. the other method is to use HP Support Assistant to download & updated the Softpaq BIOS for you.
Here is a link to a document on the use of HP Support Assistant, just choose the section to 'Maintain' updates.

    Thank you.

Hello, I need to be clear that what I posted is just for the series mentioned, which are models newer dv6 and dv7 AMD.

It is common to have several different possible root causes that have identical or similar symptoms.

The important thing to remember is that if you have one of the listed model series and you see a message on your power adapter and its performance being capable of falling food, you can follow the directions and update your BIOS.

HP already made factory on laptops made after we released the BIOS.

For other models, older, different processors etc there is a comprehensive document on the subject that I put a link below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00363266

Of course, it is good advice to ensure you have the latest version of the BIOS for your laptop, whatever the model.

  • DV6-6119wm: HP Pavilion dv6-6119wm - replace the hard drive with a hard drive from a laptop Gateway

OK (deep breath). I have a dilemma, and I hope that you all can help me.

First of all, the HP laptop in question is a dv6-6119wm QE069UA #ABA, Windows 7 Home Premium.

A month ago, it began overheating and then blue screened on me with a fan error. I ran it while I was getting this error, which was a mistake, because according to me, he has finally caused the hard drive failure after enforcement of reset factory several times. But I'm getting ahead.

I replaced the fan and the heatsink myself. Another factory reset. Downloaded and installed all the updates of windows. Ran great for like a week with the exception of the fault 1 hard disk when I ran the Start Up Test.

Then when I restarted yesterday... He's dead, so he is dead.  Apparently, the hard drive failed completely and comes only a black screen telling me it cannot start.

So, I have this other model of Gateway laptop, NV55C26u which has stopped charging. I had to put it away and don't worry. I got out the hard drive and tried HP successfully. ! Sorta.

It considers that the HP is a gateway and as a result, none of the drivers are there for all the good stuffs HP. It cannot connect to the internet and does not recognize the USB flash drive. (I had downloaded all the drivers on another laptop and put them on a pious flash drive I could convince the hard drive it's HP again). Another hard drive WILL work in the dv6, and I had no errors on startup it upward.

I have no recovery discs or store bought Windows 7, all came with the laptop preinstalled. But I don't have my key to the label.

Then what should I do? I'm not exactly tech savvy, I know just enough to be dangerous haha, but I tend to go glassy when things get too technical. I thought I could get something Microsoft to reinstall my Windows but I guess they closed this path down a few months ago.

    I have access to 2 other laptops, both HP. A QE304UA of Pavilion G7 #ABA with Windows 7 Home Premium and a HP 250 G2 Portable F7V84UT #ABAwith Windows 7 Professional.

So basically in order to encapsulate this novel to the top, which can do here to fix my dv6? How can I convince this other HDD HP rather than Gateway? I can create something from one of these other HP laptops? Download something somewhere? I don't want to have to buy Windows again. I love this phone and need her in my life as a game.

    Please help me

You must do a clean install of Windows on them. The hard drive has drivers for completely different material. Too bad that you did not have your drive to retrieve the value. It would restore the hard drive to HP with all the drivers/software installed. It would depend if the hard disk is at least the same capacity or larger than the original. Recovery discs are reluctant to a smaller capacity hard drive.
