Disable minimize or close button on the client to view

Hello

I hope this is the right forum for this question. I couldn't find the info I was looking for by searching online.

Is it possible to disable the maximize/minimize/disconnect button in the top bar after that which appears after login to any computer virtual? I use VMWare View client 4.6. If you need more information, please let me know. Thank you

If I'm not mistaken, I think what you want is - this setting:

'Enable the shadow '.

Determines whether the menu bar of shadow at the top of the View Client window is visible. This setting is enabled by default. NOTE the shadow menu bar is disabled by default for the kiosk mode.

  • I am an old minimize, restore, close button in the new Firefox under XP

    I use XP sp2 and everything looks new except the minimize, restore and close.
    How can I solve it?

    These buttons on the title bar are controlled by Windows and no not by Firefox, so those keep the old look.

    It seems that you got the orange menu button Firefox on XP and have more bar menus visible.

    You get the orange Firefox menu button when the menu bar is hidden.

    You can press the F10 key or press the Alt key to display the menu bar hidden if necessary.

    So far so good. We have created a dynamic office and were able to deploy desktop computers. We use an ad group to allow users to this pool.

    To access desktop computers in this pool via the web portal is no problem, but when the same user attempts to use the Client to view we get a message that authentication has failed. In the View Manager events, I got these messages:

    1 (SESSION: E2C6C98C7A5AB8A624450E4B70DB9A78; 8 D) XXXX\YYYYYYYY: 18B0AC59A9A16F3F0158209FC1CC26) the user USER; USERSID:S - 1-5-21-nnnnnnnnnnnnn; USERDN:CN=S-1-5-21-484522859-389107532-2199480311-219035,CN=ForeignSecurityPrincipals,DC=VDI,DC=VMware,DC=int; has disconnected from VDM

    The strange thing is, I left all this next door for a few minutes and tried to connect via Client discovered again later. This time, it worked, but at the opening of the session of office (office of screen already appeard) closes the windows desktop without any message. After you start the Client view again, the authentication will fail again.

    Time is synchronized in all entities.

    Any ideas, tips, solutions?

  • Menu from the top (minimize/maximize/close buttons) is missing

    In the view of the main Thunderbird Inbox, all above the tabs is missing. It is transparent, but the area is still part of the Thunderbird window and clicking it keeps the focus in this window. I'm under 24.3.0. I met two possible fixes for this (was related to themes, but I use the original theme, the other was to hit toggle full screen - in my case, F11 appears to be disabled or broken), but have not been able to solve the problem. I'm running Windows 7 Pro SP1, x 64

    For anyone else knows this bug (Matt, it's a bug - almost all Windows apps should have at least a red 'X' button close and Thunderbird is without expection), the problem was solved when I updated to 24.4.0 (Win 7 SP1)

    Thank you for taking the time to respond, guigs2 and Matt.

    1. have you made changes on the computer recently?

    2. this happens with a particular application or with the set?

    3 are you referring to the options on the right side of the windows or on the left side?

    4. If these options are not available, then how you try to close open windows?

  • Close button of the palette UI shooting onClose callback multiple times

    Hello

    When you do:

    palette.onClose = function() { ... }

    ... and then clicking the close button (the small circle of OS UI in the upper left corner), in the UI of the pallet the onClose triggers recall at least 20 times.

    Why? Is this a normal behavior?

    Disabling the OS user interface when close button (using option closeButton: fake) and create a button instead:

    palette.myCloseButton.onClick = function() { ... }

    The onClick is triggered only once and the palette window is closed.

    Everyone notices this difference? Is it me?

    I'd love to not have a close to my palette button... I prefer to use the narrow circular button UI OS (but not if he's going to fire the recall several times in a row).

    Thank you!!!

    I did a simple test, and it does not seem to be fired only once on my computer Mac Yosemite.

    #target illustrator-19
    function test(){
      var w = new Window("palette", "Test");

      var lbl = w.add("statictext", undefined, "Test");

      w.onClose = function(){
      alert('closed.');
      };

      w.show();
    };
    test();

  • Impossible to disable "Group similar taskbar buttons" in the taskbar

    Original title:

    I use Windows XP Professional and I recently downloaded Internet Explorer 8. After I downloaded it, all my applications are grouped into a single point on the right side of the taskbar without worrying whether or not they were similar (Word, Outlook, etc.). I went into the properties of the taskbar and uncontrolled group similar taskbar items, but it does not solve the problem. I tried to find an answer online, but I haven't found answers for Windows 7 and Windows XP does not have the same elements in properties. Ideas for this problem?

    Hello

    You did changes to the computer, before the show?

    Try to disable it by following these steps.

    a. click on the button 'start '.

    b. Select the option "run".

    c. type 'GPEDIT. MSC"and press ENTER.

    d. navigate to the folder User Configuration -> administrative models -> Start Menu and taskbar.

    e. in the right pane, double-click the option "prevent grouping of items in the taskbar.

    f. change the setting to "Disable".

    g. click the button 'Apply', then press 'OK '.
  • DVD/CD player still works, but it won't open and close button on the PC! Any help out there?

    For some reason, a few months back, my Player DVD/CD writer decided it would not open or close more but it still works as usual when a disc is in, and it will be ejected when I go to the icon on the desktop, as well, but as there is no close button, it closes. I checked the disc and the info about it by going to 'start' and 'computer' and all that, and he says it works fine and the driver is fine, but is obviously not a reason any. It is an Atapi DVD A DH16AASH ATA device and it is a burner. I was going to download the so-called ErrorsFixer.com/Microsoft, but felt a little uncomfortable because I am always wary of download anything really. Someone at - it gives a few tips?

    Either said by the way, not at all important, how to change your password on your Microsoft account?

    The reader can be closed by pushing gently on the status bar. Once started, the tray retracts completely.

    If the player is behind a cover - the front hidden - it has probably moved slightly so that the external button is no longer comes into contact with the button on the front of the drive. If so, you must remove the covers on the side of the box and adjust the position of the car until the buttons respond and operate properly.
    If the button on the drive itself no longer works, you can either go as you are, or replace the disc. It is not economical to repair a DVD player.
  • How to make smaller minimize/maximize/close buttons?

    I want to do the reduction - optimize - closing/buttons on the right of smaller output. What is the CSS for it?

    In Windows 7:
    Click office >
    Go to personalize >
    Click on the color of the window (custom) >

    I like it to size 18, because it does not take so much space.

  • Connect button in the web content viewer.

    Issue, within the web content viewer is there a way I can add the sign in button in the header, I noticed washingtonian has done this, and I searched everywhere and couldn't manage to find information about it.

    I've provided the link for your reference.

    http://www.Washingtonian.com/Tablet/index.php?WV=s%2FWashingtonian%2F0 5bd042e967b4b25a5e0942b4f879a5a%2FJuly_2013%2FCover.html

    The "Sign In" feature in the web viewer is currently only available to DPS Enterprise Edition with active direct payment accounts and only allows access to the readers who have purchased subscriptions or questions directly from the Publisher (for example, not on the app store). This feature is not available in the Professional Edition accounts.

    To enable the connection to the web viewer, you must provide the team DPS with the 'Integrator ID' and 'ID' of each production account where you want this feature is enabled. The DPS team will establish a preference in the back-end systems that display the Sign In link to these accounts, the next time the page is loaded by the web viewer. The best way to provide this information to the DPS team is through your Adobe representative or the customer service.
