Disable redirection of Windows 8 to VirtualStore

I use Windows 8 Pro and I'm crazy as * get more angry every day. I have install programs using my active administrator account, but when I try to use the programs with my user account (also an administrator account), they do not work, because there is different, incorrect data in the VirtualStore. Win 8 requires me to re - install everything twice. Once the administrator and, ONCE again, for the user account. MS programmers don't know that it is useless! It is a complete madness! Please tell me how to disable the redirection of files in the VirtualStore directory. I won't! First of all, I'm running legacy applications that don't work without being able to write to the directory of the program, and... .in the second place, I don't have Microsoft "protect me" by not letting control me my own stinking computer! I continue to be amazed that every hacker in China and the Russia can enter into my computer, but I can't!

It worked the same way in Vista, 7 and 8. How old is this program and why can it not be upgraded to a newer version that hopefully don't ignore best practices of development?

It's okay you are an administrator. Programs are not supposed to save data files in Program Files. VirtualStore was a workaround for these programs which ignores that.

  • Sharing multimedia files has been disabled because a windows required setting or a component has changed.

Earlier today, I was a game on my Xbox 360 and decided I want to play music in the background, using the guide of 360.

I went to "Select Music", searched my PC in the devices menu, and it does not appear. This has happened before, I just figured out my PC was in place. I went to the 360 Dashboard and looked back to the server. He has not yet shown upward.

I went to Windows Media Player on the PC that I share the media selected in the dropdown under library and went to share multimedia files. (Here's where it gets confusing...)

He gave me a message saying "sharing multimedia files has been disabled because a Windows setting required or a component has been changed." I hit very well, and I went back to the sharing of multimedia files. Now, I had the option to check the box "share my media". I checked, hit OK, made sure everything was good to go. The unit has not yet appear on the dashboard. I went back to the sharing of multimedia files. To my surprise, I received always «sharing multimedia files has been disabled...» »

This is the part of the confusion: if I turn on media sharing, Windows it cuts back.

I tried all the solutions online that I could find, which includes deleting the files in the Windows Media AppData\Microsoft folder. Register a dll to the administrator. Ensuring that you have the "Windows Media" folder. All take very well.

Basically I narrowed down it to: nothing works.

Each person could fix their problem by using the solutions proposed in other posts on other forums/blogs. Mine is recurring. In addition, my media is on a separate internal hard drive, which I added to the Windows Media Player files to add multimedia elements. I went and deleted from here. I still have the problem of sharing.

All said Microsoft is to restore your computer to a previous state. It's not really useful. I don't want to go just restore. I want to fix it where. In addition: restoration would not help, I don't know how long this problem exists, but I have not known about it.

-Very well, after a fresh reformat the hard drive and re-installing Windows, I finally reduced the problem.

I have not had ANY problems with the computer... Until I installed my Adobe CS5 Master Collection again.

It turns out that the part of the Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended software called Adobe Presenter 7 causes the sharing to go haywire.

I deleted Adobe Presenter 7, and just like that, sharing has increased again.

In addition, Adobe Acrobat 9 was causing my sidebar to go haywire, so I advanced and which takes off as well.

Have not had a problem since.

  • SideWinder X 4 does not disable the left windows key in games

SideWinder X 4 does not disable the left windows key in games.

When on the windows desktop, he will have the disabled windows key and a small box will popup in the lower right corner, saying he is.
But if I press it, then in a game (fullscreen), it will be the game tab down, put me to what is "beneath" and open the start menu.
I tried both Intellitype 8.2 and the latest Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center but they both react in the same way.
The Bank or the profile is set to number 2 (game) and of course, the windows key is disabled in the settings. Even if I turn it off on THE 3 banks it'll always exhibit the same behavior.
I tried to implement the individual profiles for the games that I play as well but no luck there either. And re - install the drivers does not help.
It completely defeats the purpose of this feature. Ideally, she would work on the other hand, being active only in an office environment and disabled in games/full screen applications, but it should at least work as announced, following the rules laid down by the Bank or the current profile.
In addition, the auto feature does not work with these games or the other and some applications as well. Am I alone in having these problems? I'm ready to completely reinstall windows because it's *.
    Any help/ideas please?

    Hello
