  Hello. I have a problem with my laptop Vaio - startup takes about 5 minutes until all programs properly loading. I would turn off start Vaio Care, so I looked up this community site.   I want to stop the startup chime and the normal terminal script, (sudo nvram SystemAudioVolume = 80%) "does not work because of a password problem.

  When I run Vista, I receive a notice that two programs in the startup group were "blocked".  By clicking on the display, one of the programs is QTTask.exe by Apple, and the other is EULALauncher.exe.  The size of the file is 17920 bytes, and there is no signature or creater listed.  Anyone know what it is?  It should be deleted?

  I don't know if you saw my post updated, but I'm sure that this question arises from Norton 360 brand gameux.dll file as a virus.  It quarantined the file.  Apparently repeuple Windows the Windows\System32 folder with a new file gameux.dll

  I think that some programs may have been pointing to the old file gameux.dll quarantined.  Norton, he was put in a hidden folder in c:\programdata.

  In any case, I deleted this version put in quarantine to gameux.dll and problem solved.  No more error on startup!

  I am not sure you have Secure Boot in the BIOS.  I don't find reference to it in one of the guides.  The computer came originally with Win 7.
