disable startup by car programs?

I get my boot drive warning messages. But before that I take him to the store for replacement, firstly can I disable all my old Adobe programs (CS 4, etc) on this machine?

I am running most of them on both computers, so I always have a safety net. These are programs such as first, after EFX, Photoshop, hearing, etc.

I am concerned by the replacement of a boot disk. If the repair shop allows you to clone the programs from the startup disk to a new disc of starting, is what it will look like to install these on a third computer?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hi Bill,

1 + for the suggestion of Jim.

You don't necessarily have to do for creative Cloud applications but for versions of Creative Suite (CS), you must do it.

Thank you

Hello. I have a problem with my laptop Vaio - startup takes about 5 minutes until all programs properly loading. I would turn off start Vaio Care, so I looked up this community site. The decision proposed by many members is to disable via the Task Scheduler in Windows 7. The problem is that when I open the Task Scheduler, I do not see Vaio Care inside, so obviously that I can't turn it off. Right now I don't know about any other way of disabling Vaio Care, so I want to get help here.

Try to check under Services startup type.

    1) click Start

    (2) click on run

    (3) type "Services.msc".

    (4) press on enter

    5) scroll down and look for performance of Vaio Care service

    (6) on the general tab, you can check the status of the service if its started or stopped. You will have an option to stop the service on this tab.

7 in the drop-down list startup type. It will give you list drop-down option automatic, manual and disabled.

  • Disable the start up programs in Windows 7

Original title: programs like startup automatically HELPS the value programs

When I launch some programs such as spotify or the dropbox and then finishing with the help of their/them close, I'm going to see what programs start up when I turn on my PC and the programs that I turned on recently have been set in startup programs though even I didn't do. I think they just automatically set as startup programs when I activate, after they all build up it really slows my boot time. any ideas on how to put it where the only way to programs can run at startup is if I set the MYSELF.hope to get an answer soon have no idea want to make :(

    Hi Daniel,.

    Thanks for your reply.

Disable startup items/programs does not stop the program to get the job, and if you want you can always start the program by double-clicking on it. Yes, it is your own desire, what are those who want to disable the boot menu.

    Hope that addresses your concerns!

  • Terminal to disable startup chime

I want to stop the startup chime and the normal terminal script, (sudo nvram SystemAudioVolume = 80%) "does not work because of a password problem.

After you enter the script Terminal asks for my password. I provide the password and terminal says "command not found". Naturally, I assume that the password is incorrect, but it is the same password that opens the permissions and is used for the administrator account ID.

In fact, I created a new master password for the computer through Permission > File Vault. (File Vault is turned off). However, Terminal always reports "command not found". !

A Unix guru can tell me how to get rid of this annoying chime, perhaps including a reset command Admin password?

  • Disabled the startup now computer programs freezes... Gel n... Gel n!

I think I've damaged my computer by disabling some necessary startup programs... I am also unable to recover given I've updated System Mechanic and lost my backups. My computer keeps freezing and I'm constantly having to turn it off and on again manually. How can I fix? I tried enabling the start up programs again, however, I think that some of the drivers have been removed. I think this is what causes the problem. Help friends!

    Hello

"update of System Mechanic and lost my backups.

Not sure what are the other losses that this was the case.

You should never use Registry cleaners. They can do more damage than any good they claim to be able to do.

As you now no restore point?, I suggest that you:

    1. remove / uninstall Registry Mechanic:

    http://www.PCTOOLS.com/Registry-Mechanic/help/uninstalling_and_upgrading_registry_mechanic.htm

2 borrow a Microsoft Vista DVD from a friend or a work acquantice (not the manufacturer of Recovery DVD) and do a upgrade Vista repair install:

"How to perform a repair for Vista Installation"

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-Vista.html

Also go to the website of your computer manufacturer > drivers download Section > search for your model number of the computer and the operating system > download and install the latest drivers for it.

    See you soon.

  • Is there something available for disabling startup programs, similar to the utility of Windows Defender?

Windows Defender had a utility called "Software Explorer", with which you could disable some programs that start with Windows.

is there something similar that does the same work?

You can manage Windows startup items by following these steps:

    1) click the Windows Start button
    2) click on Run
    (3) type msconfig in the field
    4) click on the Startup tab
    (5) uncheck the items you want to start with Windows.

Note: You can also type msconfig in the search of Windows box.

    I hope this helps.

  • Disabled startup programs...

When I run Vista, I receive a notice that two programs in the startup group were "blocked".  By clicking on the display, one of the programs is QTTask.exe by Apple, and the other is EULALauncher.exe.  The size of the file is 17920 bytes, and there is no signature or creater listed.  Anyone know what it is?  It should be deleted?

    B. from when what happens?
    C. recent changes made on the computer?

  • Receiving an error on startup error: C:\Program Data\sytem 32\gameux.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error

    * Original title: error gameux.dll

I recently got an error on startup associated gameux.dll.

"C:\Program Data\...\gameux.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.  Try to install the program by using the original installation media or your system administrator or the software vendor for support on the contracts. »

Later, I discovered that my Norton 360 had quarantined the gameux.dll file a few weeks ago marked as high risk Trojan horse.  After scanning this file in the folder of Norton 40, it seems, is not a problem and was not actually a virus.  Then I looked in the windows System 32 folder and found that the file gameux.dll is actually still there.  Maybe repeuple Windows there.  Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work.  Maybe an incompatible version.

I tried to put the old file in System 32, but ran into problems of owner "TrustedInstaller", which I didn't change without a little guidance.

Any ideas where I should go from here?

    Thank you!

    Dell Precision T1500

    Windows 7, 64-bit

I don't know if you saw my post updated, but I'm sure that this question arises from Norton 360 brand gameux.dll file as a virus.  It quarantined the file.  Apparently repeuple Windows the Windows\System32 folder with a new file gameux.dll

I think that some programs may have been pointing to the old file gameux.dll quarantined.  Norton, he was put in a hidden folder in c:\programdata.

In any case, I deleted this version put in quarantine to gameux.dll and problem solved.  No more error on startup!

  • How to disable the stolen computer program?

Our InDesign program has been enabled on a computer that was stolen.  How to disable so it can be activated on another computer, we have?

If it is a subscription, change your Adobe ID immediately. Now activate it on two computers. That deprives the other computer to this one.

If it is a purchase, it is not so simple, maybe, they have stolen your right to use the software. Contact Adobe to see if they are ready to release him. Since they cannot block the stolen copy, they give you that here, indeed. It would be one of your insurers.

  • Pavilion P7-1240: Impossible to disable startup secure in the Bios

I would like to disable Secure Boot, but do not have the ability to do this in my bios.

My menus look almost identical to those in this post:

with the exception of having an element of Boot Configuration secure (from Figure 1 - Menu of security).

Anyone has any experience to turn it off without this configuration item?

    BlairD, welcome to the forum.

I am not sure you have Secure Boot in the BIOS.  I don't find reference to it in one of the guides.  The computer came originally with Win 7.
