  1. Go to tools > Modules.
  2. Find the Skype add-on in the list.
  3. Click on disable or Uninstall button.

  If the problem is related to a corrupted catalog, try to open the organizer with a new empty catalog.

  Hold down the SHIFT key at the launch of the Organizer. You get a dialog box with the choice to start with a new catalog, or start with a different catalog and even to 'fix' the current catalog. If your organizer starts with an empty catalog, use the option 'fix' on your corrupt catalog.

  We keep IE6 and Firefox open simultaneously to 2 different email accounts. Firefox has always been much faster even with 3 or 4 tabs open, but for the past few weeks trying to update a screen suddenly CPU goes to 100% usage and of course nothing will move until the process is complete. Close one or more tabs does not help. If I close Firefox completely using the task processor Manager goes back down to zero. After restarting Firefox CPU use may or may not go back to the top as he tries to continue the previous task which has been lock him up.
  He did this with Firefox 3.6, but still it did not happen immediately after the 9.0.1 update either.

  -Very well, so don't know if I'm the only user of Mac here or what, but the signs that everyone above me provided are correct except for one small detail - for me, I just click with the right button on my Firefox browser (not high) BACKGROUND and chose to 'customize '.   The problem is most likely an attempt to update a system malfunction prior it is probably a problem with your computer, not the El Capitan.

  Start by:

  Reset the PRAM and NVRAM on your Mac.

  MacIntel: Reset of the controller (SMC) system management

  Start in Safe Mode , and then re - start normally. It's slower that a normal start, so be patient.

  If you are unable to start;

  Reinstall El Capitan without erasing the drive

  Please make sure that you back up.

  1. Restart the computer. Immediately after that the chime hold down the command and R until the Utility Menu appears.
  2. Select disk utility, then click on the continue button.
  3. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) entry of the volume in the list aside.
  4. Click first aid icon in the toolbar. Wait until the button is active, then click it.
  5. Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.
  6. Select Reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  Install Yosemite or El Capitan, from scratch

  Backup if possible before proceeding.

  Click on the apply button, then wait for the done button to activate and click on it.

  Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.

  If you have used any other processor of professional quality (for example, Microsoft Word), and then just go ahead and use the current culture of free (financially) applications on devices you mention.   • Note the time of the next involuntary reboot. After the reboot, open the Console app in Finder > Applications > utilities and look for entries of the log at the time of reset. Suspicious message here.
