  I see that this error was mailed here, but can't seem to find a position with a resolution.

  We use Lab Manager 4.0.4 and just upgraded the hosts in our laboratory.  Before updating to ESXi 4.1 ESX 4.0 u1, we cancelled all VMs in all configurations.  There is none who were suspended, they were all turned off.  We have improved vcenter 4.0 to 4.1 as well.  We moved from a dell poweredge 1950 with two quad core intel L5410 to a r610 with two quad core intel processor E5506.

  When I try to turn on some of the lab configurations (our VM models all work fine), I get this error:

  I threw the State for the lab configuration (even if it was turned off and cancelled) and still get this message.  I guess the processor architecture of these chips is quite similar, and both are Intel.

  If I go into this directory of Manager of laboratory inside the data store for one of these virtual machines that does not light and add to the inventory, he turned and starts fine on my server esxi 4.1.  So how do Lab Manager to get account it's well deploy and start it?

  Although not supported completely, you can solve it by going to the SQL of Lab Manager database.  Make sure that you back up your database before you do anything like that.

  Open the table "fsdir" and corresponds to the dir_id with the id Lab Manager VM.  Once you find the relevant line, change suspend_proctype_id to null (Zero-Ctrl).  You can do this while Lab Manager is still running.

  The results can be unstable (i.e. Windows can crash if it was a drastic change of CPU), but at least you look at a hard reset.  The bat reset certainly not being able to return to the previous state.

  Also note that while Lab Manager does not include CVS, if you activated, your virtual machines still work in CVS mode.  If you have a mixture of heterogenious of hosts in a cluster for Lab Manager, you can see this question pop up a lot.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with take back the virtual machine because of the VCA, but Lab Manager thinks otherwise and prevents it.

  Yes Mr President, but if you make changes to the parameter, you may need to restart the database to get this amendment into force. You can also configure dbconsole EM and you can manage and create new plans resouce there too.

  Hi Anand,

  It is an indication that bootflash failed on the line card and the line card needs to be replaced.

  If the line card is now in place and that you reinstall / reload it, I would expect the next State to be 'off' because the card online is unable to load the firmware.   You should leave it until you can have it replaced.

  I use a Core i5 - 450 M CPU. There is a high pitched noise when the CPU is idle.

  I searched and found that some portable computers thinkpad, they eliminated the noise by turning off 'Power state C4' in the BIOS.

  But the bios of my laptop would not turn it off.

  So, it is possible to disable the C4 mode in windows (or some software)?

  Hi Suresh,

  As long as your host do not meet your needs, it will be impossible to move your virtual machines a gentle manner.

  The only way is to stop your guests inside the OS, restart them on other host and restart your ESX problem.

  It's a quirk in how the login page is called using the deep link, created by the manufacturer. To work around this problem, you can set page 101 to Unrestricted so that no amount of control is necessary.

• K920: Disable icon State 2 SIM?

  Hi @all,

  I bought a K920. I really love the device, but have a minor problem. Well, it isn't really a problem, more something "cosmetic", but it's still a bit annoying.

  I am sure that during the first hours of its use, there was only a 1 visible GSM network indicator in the status bar of 101%. With a little '1' on the lower right corner, indicating that this icon is for SIM 1. There is no icon for SIM 2, and I do not use a 2nd SIM card. I don't know when exactly, or what I have done before, but all of a sudden a 2nd icon appears in the status bar, which is a red x with a small '2' on the lower right corner. Of course, this indicates that there is no SIM in slot 2.

  Because I have no intention to use a 2nd SIM card anyway, I would like to get rid again of this red x icon, but could not find any setting for this.

  Any suggestions?

  Update: I just tried the original Google UI for the first time. Unfortunately, the problem with the 2nd SIM icon appearing with no 2nd installed SIM is present here as well. I saw this problem with the interface user Vibe since my announcement of 12-26, and when I switch back to Vibe UI now, the problem does not reappear. So under UI Vibe all right, but under Google UI, the problem is still present. I also tried the trick to turn airplane mode on or off, but it did not help. • Enter the State suspended virtual machines

  I upgraded VMware tools on a couple of servers, when we have improved our vCenter to 5.5 and now every 40 minutes, the servers are in suspended state.  I'll eat their back upwards and after 40 minutes, they go back in suspended state.

  Both are separate from the hosts and we have no alarm regarding resources.  They do not do so before the upgrade.  Fortunately, I only installed the upgrade on our two non-critical servers.  Anyone know what could be the cause?

• Satellite Z930 - suspend the problem with connected USB hard drive

  Owner of a newly acquired Satellite Z930-15 X, I have a few questions/problems:

  1) suspends the work of RAM and good hibernation when there is no external hard drive connected. If there is one is connected, the laptop immediately returns back to suspend state. Is there a solution for this?

  (2) is there a way to selectively disable Bluetooth? Currently, only toggle airplane mode is available (with Fn + F8 or Windows 8 charm bar). This activates / deactivates the Wi - Fi or Bluetooth I think.

  (3) the portable computer is wobbly on reception. I put a bit of thin paper at the corner of a bottom (bottom left) so that it can be stabilized. Apparently, the problem is also mentioned in another thread. Is there a suggestion to fhix this problem?

  Now when this config is used in a 3560 X and the terminal is in mode standby (not to communicate LACP) ports go into I - autonomous State.

  The same configuration is now placed in a same scenario 3650, and ports through s - suspended state.

  This may not seem to be a big problem, until I try to send WOL for the terminal. Autonomous State, he will answer, but in the s state effectively the line protocol is down the WOL packet (suspended), cannot get there.

  I was really disappointed after a year through versions 3.3.3 to 3.7.1 there is still funny issues with the 3650 series.

  I hope someone is able to advise if they have a simple fix for this problem.

  Add the command no channel of port authority - disable the port-channel interface and this should do what you want for example, interface member will in particular (I) rather than the State Suspended (s) if it does not PDULACP. You may have to bounce the port-channel interface for that to be taken into account.
