Most, if not all of the crash is pretty much in agreement on the 0xF4_IOERR being the type of error encountered. In other words, the system has trouble reading the data from your HARD drive. I suggest to download seatools for windows and burn it to disc and use it to run a HARD Disk Diagnostic test.

There are also other issues, you can apply, before the HARD drive Diagnostics to see if could help alleviate the problem.
You have two devices listed as having a problem in your outputs system information.

  • How to fix wlcomm.exe constantly using 25% cpu?

    Hello

We have a Dell i3 laptop that feels lethargic.  I noticed in the task manager that wlcomm.exe is constantly using 25% cpu.

The laptop is running Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail 2011.

Why wlcomm.exe use so much resource cpu and how can I stop it do it please?

    Best regards

    David

It is probably downloading and indexing of your email to provide instant search functionality.  If you let it run for a day, it should calm down.  Normal conditions of use "lazy" CPU by wlcomm is about 2% or less.

  • I want to disable MRT.exe

    Hi Kim Easter.

Follow these methods to turn off MRT.exe and prevent it from running in the background.

    Method 1:

MRT.exe runs in the background when the computer is started?

If so, follow the steps indicated article.

  • Mode of execution in the exe version

Y at - it an option to disable an exe file to start "run"? I wish I could change my analog sampling rate without having to stop and start the .exe at the start.

You can customize this option in the build properties.

In the 'Source File Settings' options, looking for the VI, you don't want to run at startup. Select it and go to customize the properties of VI.

Just uncheck "run when opened" and build the application to apply the changes.

    Concerning

  • High memory usage of the Windows Explorer (explorer.exe)

I recently discovered that explorer.exe (windows Explorer) takes about 50% of my CPU (i.e. 1 full core on 2) use. Kill the process and it works again, solved the problem. Use the microsoft task explorer (by systeminternals), it's explorer.exe itself using the cpu. I have Vista SP1 with all the latest patches with IE8.

I solved the problem by disabling explorer.exe in my prefetch folder

  • Very heavy use of the processor because werfault.exe

My machine is extremely slow due to werfault.exe.  Manager tasks shows the use of the CPU to 100% all the time.  The processes tab shows 2-3 instances of werfault.exe using all of the CPU resources.  This continues indefinitely and a reboot does not fix it.  The only way I could do my usable computer is by stopping the Windows error reporting service.  However, I fear that this eliminates simply a symptom and not the underlying problem.

I also met the very high disk activity.  I disable 'Run on a calendar' in the fragmenteur disk (after I did a full defragmentation) and I've also eliminated Super Fetch.  He did reduce significantly the disk activity, but there are always times when the hard drive is busy and I see no reason for this.

You go to 'Services' to disable werfault.exe.  Click on the Windows button or what it is called in Vista (the thing that replaced the 'Start' button in XP).  Enter 'Admin Tools' in the search box.  Right click on "Services" and then click "Run as Administrator".  After that 'Services' opens, search for "Windows Error Reporting Service".  Double-click it, and then you can stop it and turn it off.

I'm not having any luck with either.  Now as I type this, there are 2 instances of werfault.exe race and each consuming more than 40% usage.  "Problem reports" and Solutions show nothing.

It started shortly after I had installed Vista.  I had finished not even install all applications - perhaps began after installing SP2.

I think that I will reinstall Vista.  If the problem comes back, I'll have to go back to XP.

Before you answer, know that I did the following:

The 'Portable Device Enumerator Service' method did not prevent the it.

The only program in my "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" folder is McAfee.

There is not a 'button disable offline files' visible in my search on the start menu, or in my control panel.

I tried the tool "to disable mobsync.exe" and it tells me access is denied.

  • SIUtility.exe works only in Windows

    Hello

I am trying to disable HP Smart Install for all our Corp until they connect their USB printers, because they are not local administrators. Running of the SIUtility.exe in Windows 7 (32 bit) as Administrator allows me to disable HP Smart Install (or at least that's the idea), when I click on the 'PC' button and then the button "Disable HP Smart install on this PC" it do anything and the HP Smart Install is not disabled!

I uninstalled Antivirus and local firewall disabled, but that did not help either.

    I'm under the last SIUtility.exe (version 2012.0926.1.58500).

Anyone know how to get the utility to work?

Yes, I use the latest driver package. Did some more tests and I deploy a script running the /disable "SIUtility.exe".

The script is run in the context of the SYSTEM through our SCCM Server (because the users are not administrators).

After you run the script, the HP Smart install IS disabled and the printer acts as a printer (and not as Smart Install "CD Fake")

However if subsequently, I start the SIUtility.exe in graphical mode and press the button 'PC', it claims the HP Smart install IS enabled (even if it isn't).

Lets close this topic, saying: the SIUtility.exe is a bit wobbly, when being run in an environment Corp. (in contexts different user/administrator).

Everyone has discovered what is the SIUtility (a registry key sound more likely, but that, someone knows?)?

  • Satellite Pro A200/PSAE7 - turn volume change without end, not smooth Volume control

    Hello

On my newly purchased Pro A200/PSAE7 control (hardware) volume - front, as soon as speaker - turns without end and when you use the volume does not change "smooth" - more "brutal". For this reason, there is no possible to 'fine tuning '.

Q: is - that someone else has the same side material (without end of turn) and the software side (without smooth volume change) situation?

Thanks a lot for any response in advance!

    Hello

'problem' of the abrupt volume changes when turn the volume control has disappeared. I don't know if it's based on disable "TDispVol.exe" as startup service or another reason.

  • Profiles color profile even when set as default keep switching - G570

I recently had to calibrate the monitor G570. The default profile for Lenovo is too blue, and office work is not necessarily a problem. However, it is a question when drawing and illustration.

For example, the image embedded in this thread http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=232287

Shows someone having problems with color management because the profile of Samsung is too yellow, and appears again in their whites (IE in the palette layers, OS etc...)

If you look through the default calibration for Lenovo Thinkpad, your monitor is too blue to make the difference between shades. I've calibrated with a Spyder Express mine.

Now on the problem. Even if I have it on by default to be responsible in managing colors in Windows 7, it seems to keep glitter works between the default that comes with Lenovo laptops and the profile calibrated with Spyder express.

Even in the settings advanced color management and by setting the default profile icm Spyder, I always get the flicker when it comes out of sleep/monitor out etc.

Is there a way to keep it constantly?

The link I provided before is the solution.

If you have a color profile for the color management, you must disable igfxpers.exe to dominate.

I've disabled in Start Services and completed the process in the Task Manager. My monitor now the profile that I have calibrated.

It is a problem with the Intel software and not of Lenovo.

    Hi Clint-Northrock,

This only happens with this particular game site or any other site as well?

What version of browser you want to use (32-bit or 64-bit)?

Some Web sites are designed for older browsers. You may experience some compatibility issues on these sites until they are updated to Internet Explorer 8. Internet Explorer 8 includes a compatibility view feature that displays Web sites that have been created for older browsers as they were meant to appear. You can activate the compatibility mode in Internet Explorer.

Follow the link given below, to the race, the site in compatibility view.

Some Web sites are not displayed correctly or work correctly in Windows Internet Explorer 8
