Discover where a DB is used in the analysis?

Hello

I need to know which BI analyses using a specific function (for example: myFunction)

How can I search to find where this function?

Hello

The following steps come to mind as a solution to your needs. Not sure if there is a better method.

I guess you need to generate 2 reports to find the funtion DB used in the report. This is because the function can be called from the RPD or the reporting level.

Here are the steps to generate documentation of the RPD

Access tools to--> Utilities--> Documentation of the repository. Then click on run. This will generate the documentation of the RPD and from their you can identify the columns of presentation that uses the function db.

Catalog Manager to generate the catalog report. Once the report is generated search the db function and to consider also the column of presentation you find documentation of the RPD. The State of the catalog, you will be able to identify the report that uses a function specific db.

Thank you!

  • Session variable: How do you know where all that is used in the repository?

    Hi all

We have a requirement where we need to convert a few session variables in variables to repository. For this we need to know where everything is this used in the repository and webcat session variable (including all logical columns use, which all guests use etc.). We tried the utility application, but that did not help. Is there another way to know that? You will really appreciate the pointers on your side.

    Thanks in anticipation,
    Karan

    Hello

To search for variables used in,

RPD: Open the RPD-> go to the Tools Menu-> select 'Utilities'-> 'Documentation repository '. This will generate a CSV with associations

WebCAT: Open the using webcat catalogue Manager-> Tools Menu-> create report - select the desired columns (column Xml include)-> open the rpeort in excel find-> 'Variable' of what you can find the different variables used in the catalogue.

  • Check where a function was used in the Apex 4.1.1

    Hello

I wrote a defective function several months ago and have corrected. But not sure how many palaces that he is used to it because he is a big enough application and made some time back. Is there a mechanism within the APEX to check where a particular function is called (in proceesses, calculation, etc.)?

    Using Application Express 4.1.1.00.23

    See you soon,.

    Xarg,

You should be able to use the application for this search. Simply go to the request of the manufacturer, change your request and put your name of the function in the search box in the upper right.

  • Is there a function in LabVIEW that takes the last half of the data (table) which can then be used for the analysis?

I was wondering if there was something in this direction in LabVIEW to create a shortcut for this, rather than try to hardcode it after the fact. Does anyone know this method I'm talking about? (IEC 60601-2-24 dry 50) Please let me know because I'm fighting here.

I have to calculate the index and the length after the fact. I just hope that there may be a simpler solution.

Well, you can reduce the complexity of the half by computing only the "index" and leave the 'length' of "subset of the table" unwired. If you wire length, the subset is the rest of the table.

There are also "split table 1 d.

If it's still too hard, do it once and wrap it in a sub - VI, called for example "SecondHalf1D.VI". Of course, you probably also need a logical deal with cases where the size of the array is not an even number.

  • where to find and use the (HCL) hardware compatibility list for Windows xp3

Original title: where to find and use the Windows (HCL) hardware compatibility list

    HCL for Windows xp3

That does not "response" from MS Support Engineer Umesh was particularly useless.

Unfortunately for you, the HCL XP (or Windows Catalog or Windows Marketplace or whatever it is renamed) no longer exists.  I guess Microsoft is not particularly interested in letting you know what the material is compatible with an operating system that is no longer, it sells and supports only.

The trail begins here: "the latest Windows XP Hardware Compatibility List" (314062 KB) that leads to theWindows 7 Compatibility Center.  KB 314062 is also linked to the http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/ which used to have a list of compatible with XP hardware and software, but now redirects to the Microsoft store, another dead end that XP is concerned.

If you really want to dig, your best bet is probably used the Wayback Machine (archive.org) looking for old copies of

http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx - but a lot of links are broken or "not supported" unless you use Internet Explorer 6 (the message claims 6 'or more' but 8 does not work).

  • PC/tablet-is there a laboratory touchscreen top that works on windows 7 / 8, where the screen can detach the keyboard to use in the form of tablets, or screen can be reached for keyboard vertically or horizontally?

Labtop / Tablet question -I'm shopping for a new Labtop.    Is there a laboratory touchscreen top that works on windows 7 / 8, where the screen can detach the keyboard used in the form of tablets and then transformed (with long vertical side) and attached to the keyboard to type a length full page (8.5 x 11 page) and then returned (long horizontal side) one attached to the keyboard (to be used as a stand) for a movie with all the features of present characteristics of a top laboratory such as 4 to 8 GB memory and a 500 GB hard drive (perhaps as part of the screen or connected to / through the keyboard, if it is used as a docking station)?

It seems with all the technology of the tablet on the market that Microsoft or somebody would do something like that now.  Can someone help me? Thank you

    -Scott M

PS: My wife has an ASUS transformer where the screen detaches from the keyboard, so it can be used in the form of tablets.  When it is attached to the keyboard, the keyboard acts as a stand to sit on the counter for watching movies.  And then the keyboard and the screen can fold them together, so when it is closed there is a stand-alone case. This, however, runs the Android operating system.  Basically, I want this same design (for the potability in a Briefcase), but with it running Microsoft Windows so it can be used as any other labtop.  It the keyboard could have a number pad are associated with, that would be a bonus.

When using my touchpad on my toshiba laptop, win7, a type of scroll box appears no - where and moving, my cursor on the desktop. He mess to the top of my page.   If I scroll, I'll use the cursor down or on either side, so how can I remove this pain forever. Is this Toshiba or win7, one of them must go. Impossible to do my job, to spend way too frustrated time.

Go to your control panel and click on the mouse,

Go to the device settings section,

As you can see it allocate the adjustment.

Sounds like areas of virtual scroll or tap.

Why use push and pop where addChild and removeChild can do the same work?

What is the advantage of the push and pop on addChild and removeChild?

It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you explain more about under what circumstances you would use them, a more definitive answer can be provided.    Push and pop of the work for arrays.  addChild and removeChild work for displayObjects.

What creative programs cloud must be purchased to create a Web site, where purchases can be made on the site, without using a third-party Web site?

as mentioned there are several adobe programs that could be used to create your website from the front-end. There is none that would be used to create the back-end.

all front-end creative programs are able to add the features needed to communicate with your Web site main.

WordPress is a content management system, but also the design Web site handles so I'm not sure it makes sense to invest in programs oriented primarily as adobe design and use wordpress.

Where the provision is applied first to determine if the line fits criteria. Only if this is the case, select list expressions are calculated. This is why select expression list aliases are not allowed in the where clause. Now, command by after selection list is calculated, so you can use aliases expression list in the order of.
