Disorder of the transition in Movie Maker

I use Windows Movie Maker and running Vista. Some of my transitions between the photos will not play but the transtition even between different photos will play well.  I have deleted and then replaced by another transition, but it still does not go play with some photos. Help?

This occurs when the length of the Transition is the same or higher
the duration of the photo.

Try increasing the length of the photo... Tools / Options / Advanced tab.

    Hello @Trafalgar_Law,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I read your post on the sound and wanted to help!

Are you just having this noise problem when using Windows Movie Maker?  If so, try to uninstall and reinstall the program.  Alternatively, you can try to use Windows Update, to search for the drivers that are compatible with Windows 10.  You can consult this site too: products HP - where can I find drivers Windows 10 and software for my model?

If you have problems to install the drivers, you can use the tool on the following site:

Open the Windows Update troubleshooting tool

It is possible that the drivers are not available for your product.  If this is the case, or the drivers you found do not work, try to use the solutions on this site to work around the problem and let me know how it goes: how: install and update drivers in Windows 10

  • How can I change the volume in movie maker, before a record?

I am trying to edit videos created on a low end JVC camera. First converted some mpg, opened in movie maker and then saved as wmv files. But it's really complicated to nedopil, very SLOW save and no volume control I see! Maybe there is a better way than with a film-maker.  But at least a little more volume would be out me a hole.

    Something to try...

For the timeline... right click on the audio or Audio / Music
follow and choose... Volume... or... kind of... CTRL + U.. hen, drag the slider.

  • the .vob and Movie Maker files

I have the video on a Sony DVD camcorder that I am trying to edit and publish in the form of a DVD. I am running Vista Home Business SP1 but I tried to do this work with XP and Mac too.  The only system that reads the disk, other than the camcorder itself was Mac. My husband he created a disk of files for me to use my HP IX506 with Vista. I used Movie Maker successfully before with the video on my Canon Powershot Digital Elph, but get the files from the DVD to the Sony is reallly flummoxing me.

I see that Media Player can handle a .vob file, but is unable to Movie Maker. Media Player displays all the clips as "chapters" but Movie Maker recognizes only the first clip - even if it's very strange - if I drag toward the back of the timer (for lack of a better name), I can see that the other elements are there.

So where I'm going wrong? Is creating a Mac, a .vob file? How can I get video off the camcorder mini DV Sony (DCR-DVD305)? My IX506 all-in-one with Vista can't handle a mini DVD in the DVD drive. My XP, it's empty.  I connected the camera via USB at the same time, and they think that the drive is empty.  Only the Mac could import the files from the camera.

    ===============================
First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
. MPG and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...
Re - import new video film for editing purposes.

If this does not work... rename the file back to VOB and try
convert the .wmv or .avi file using the following
    free Converter:

    SUPER © Simplified
    Universal Player Encoder & Renderer
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Super
(the download mirror site is faster)

(FWIW... it is always a good practice to create one)
System restore point before installing new software)

After installing the program GREAT... open...
you will see two small circles at the top left
corner of the screen... check the UPPER circle.

Now... Drag/Drop your. VOB files in the current field.

    Output container... Choose wmv...

Video scale size / no change

    Left, click the Encode button.

Choice: A Simple Profile / OK...

    Wait...

(FWIW... I have better luck with video if I'm not
try to multi-task while a file is being converted)

When the file is converted, you should find it in...
Program Files / eRightSoft / Super / exit.

Or... you can type... CTRL + T.. o open the Save
Window and choose a backup folder.

    Good luck...

  • duplication of music for transitions in movie maker

How do you ride two music files (songs) so that you can a fade at the same time, you increase the volume on the other?

If you use Vista Movie Maker 6... It has a scenario...
Your music files will be added to the audio / music...
You can click or drag a file on top of the other to
    create a fade.

In Windows Live Movie Maker... you would have to add
the... Fade Out / Fade... effects for files. How about you
could balance remove a part at the beginning and end

Since you want a DVD... have you tried DVD Maker? If the file will be
not import... it may be worth trying to convert it to .wmv format.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.pcfreetime.com/
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)

After downloading and installing Format Factory...
Open the program and choose an output folder...
(this is where you will find your files when they are
    converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

  • Duration of the photo in Movie Maker

I made a DVD image with music and after loading photos, I changed the duration of each image.  However, not all images are at the time of the new term.  How can I change the duration of images?  I am in Movie Maker.

Movie Maker 6. Project MSWMM file?

    See the following...

The change of setting to: Tools / Options /.
Advanced... tab applies only to the added clips
to the timeline * after * you change the setting.

However... There is a way to adjust the duration
    of all the photos.

If you switch to view "Storyboard" and select
all of the clips as a batch (select one and the type...
CTRL + A)... you can add the 'Speed Up, Double.
or "Slow down, half" effect of changing the
duration. Simply select all clips / right click
the effect on the menu... Choose...
    Add to storyboard table.

'Speed Up, Double' cuts the duration of half.

"Slow Down, half ' double life.

These effects can be added up to six times.

    If you need finer adjustment...
    the info may be useful:

To the timeline, you can change the
duration for each clip manually. Drag the
Garnish handle left or right to increase or
reduce the duration. You can see a
    Tip displaying the change.

Or... just to redo the project after changing
    the long-term: Tools / Options / Advanced
    tab.
