HP Pavilion 15-n070sw docking station

I'm trying to find information on the dock that would be compatible with

HP Pavilion 15-n070sw. Do you know what docsking ststaion will work fo this laptop?

Hello

HP Pavilion 15-n070sw doesn't have a port of the docking station therefore you must use the USB host (or Port Replicator) station.  The following links show the current:

HP USB 3.0 Port Replicator 3005pr

  • Pavilion dv7 docking station

I want to know if the Pavilion dv7-6b32us will have a docking station.  I'm fairly certain that the answer is, but I would get confirmed.  Thank you.

Not the kind of glance down. Laptop manufacturers have abandoned well enough compared to consumption patterns and offer only on purely business models. You can always use a docking usb 3.0 and usb 3.0 for such high bandwidth you can have things like video and other ports gateways that work very well. The downside is that a usb 3.0 docking station invoice not the laptop isn't really a docking station for my way of thinking, just a 'port replicator. You can still encore mis put in place on your desktop with the keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, etc. and have an extra power adapter here in all the time so you just put the phone down and connect two things and you have your office configuration, connectable to warm even.

  • Pavilion DV6: Pavilion DV6 Docking Station

Okay, I give up.  I can't find the good docking station for a Pavilion DV6 Notebook PC.  Model B5S13UA #ABA.  I had one requiring an extension connector, but my machine does not (that I could find).  I just need something that I can use to turn the PC power switch, run an external monitor, use a wireless keyboard/mouse, plug in my Ethernet cable and two USB ports would be nice.  Any suggestions?

Yes a USB 3.0 dock most a spare adapter is not a bad option. As opposed to a snap down where you just walk up and put the laptop on the dock (snap) and then press a button on the dock to start, with a USB 3.0 you plug in USB, plug in the AC adapter, open the laptop, turn it on, close the lid (you will need to configure not to sleep or stops when you close the lid) and go.

USB 3.0 provides a good external monitor support and gigabit ethernet, audio, and anything else you want, just more hassle to work with.

  • Computer HP laptop-17-e107nr - docking station/port replicator

A colleague recently bought a HP laptop, off a QVC shopping channel as a replacement for an older desktop computer.

She asked for assistance in obtaining its transferred files.  In conversation, she is also looking for something that will allow him to cling easily to its large monitor, mouse, etc. without havin plug them each time.

The only model number I have at my disposal, right now is 17-e107nr, but I was not able to perform a search that will show me a compatible docking for this model.  She has not yet received the laptop.

To simplify the transfer does anyone know of a compatible docking for this model or what model HP number this might amount to so I can get better.

    Thank you

Look under Pavilion 17z-e100 series. It is the designation of the generic template for this material.

    Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

This series of model doesn't have a "wink down" port of the docking station, so you'd have to use a plug in the usb 3.0 docking station. Something like this:

    Hello

There the docking port and HP xb3000 docking station is a good choice. Can be very hard to find now so that you can use the USB docking station such as:

    http://www.HP.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2009/HPSMBEvent/HPUSB2.0DockingStation.PDF

You can pay more to get the dock USB 3.0 for newer machines (later):

    Hello

Yes, you should leave his opening.

Close it only when the laptop is in mode 'sleep', hibernate mode or ADAPT off the coast.

If you closed it while working on it, you'll generate heat. That is not good for any laptop.

  • MacBook Air for Docking Station connection problem

I am trying to connect a MacBook Air to another monitor via a Kensington docking station, but they do not communicate. The additional monitor is sent immediately to sleep. If I connect Air to the monitor directly everything works fine, but I want to simplify my life with the docking station. Anyone have any ideas?

Well, I understood the question. It seems that the original DisplayLink software I was using was not correct. After connecting with Kensington, they gave me info on a new beta driver and it works fine.

You can stop the process force using the background activity monitor utility. Just find the process Dock (sort the list of processes by name), or use the search box at top right, select, and then click the button exit (the icon is an 'X' in an octagon) in the upper left corner of the window of the activity monitor. It will ask if you want to make a normal Quit or force him to leave.
